Re: Ethnographic Sources for Historical Information on Hoodoo

Hello Everyone! I was looking on the forum for this info and I didn't see an answer to this. I know Harry Hyatt used field recording equipment to assist in gathering the source materials for his books. I wonder if any of those wax cylinders still exist? Is anyone in contact with his estate? Wouldn't...

Re: Ouija, Spirit Board, Planchette, Talking Board Divination Questions and Answers

Hi Catherine!

Oh! that looks fascinating! I love the pendulum (I wear one often) but I have never used it for divination. I will have to check this board out! Thanks for the information!

Warmly

Re: Ouija, Spirit Board, Planchette, Talking Board Divination Questions and Answers

Hello everyone! I wonder if any of you use a spirit or talking board (Ouija) for divination. I'd love to hear th...

Re: Mojo Bag, Conjure Hand, Toby, Gree-Gree Questions & Answers

Hello All, I am interested in assembling a Mojo bag to help me draw and maintain a sense of feminine power. I don't necessarily mean power over the opposite sex, but rather a sense of centered confidence and connection to myself. I want this to be a particularly feminine bag rather than relying on m...

Re: HRCC: Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course

Just wanted to note, for those overseas who want to take the course but are concerned with ordering from the shop. I live on a South Pacific island with notoriously strict border laws. I ordered a big package of supplies from the requirements list, including many herbs and baths. Not only was the bo...

Hello from far away

Hello Everyone! My name is Madeleine. I want to connect with other practitioners here and learn from you all. I have been involved with some form of "magick" or the "occult" since I was a teenager. I live overseas now but I grew up in the American South (Atlanta and Savannah). Over the years I have ...
