I find the Clarity oil smells sort of like old-fashioned hair oil and sort of like liniment. It's hard to say why, but that seems fitting.

Long drip down the side that appears to have built up since that one spot was the only place wax was running down--the flame is sort of cradled in a hollow with in the candle, as opposed to being the highest point of the whole thing. Most of the wax is burning off, though. This particular spur that'...

Asking because I have literally never seen this before and searched the forum with a couple terms and nothing popped up: anybody ever have a runner of wax climb up along the side of the candle so high that it rears up higher than the lip of the candle as it's burning?
