Dixie John Southern John Root Questions and Answers

Two quick questions about using Dixie John in the laundry with the bed sheets.
1) Is there a suitable alternative to a muslin bag in which to place the root? and
2) How should I dispose of the root after using it in order to "seal the deal"?
If there are any other helpful hints on using Dixie John in the laundry, that would be awesome to know as well.

Hi Ntillman the muslin bag is what is recommended, so I'd go with that, someone else might have an alternative that I might not be aware of.
Here's the link in the catalogue:

Great recommendations Triplethreat. When you read the Dixie John full spell webpage, you will see at the end of the page suggested disposal, as Triplethreat mentioned.

Before washing it with your laundry, I suggest you take a few of the "hairs" and burn with Fires of Love incense in your home that way you've got the very air and bed covered. Works great.

I've heard that Red Trillium root may be used for health work. (Dixie John, Southern John) But all the info I'm finding today has it as medicinal only in some historic uses (birth) and mostly carried for other purposes.
Anyone know of references for health work or have some "recipes"? I just got three beautiful roots, full of life, and want to employ them for general health and for specific nerve pain issues.
Thanks!

I read somewhere that a Dixie John Root can only be used once to launder sheets in the muslin bag and then it was "Spent".Is that true?

Hi snouvavou,
If that is a concern then you may consider checking out
Dixie John Root Bath Crystals. You can dissolve the bath crystals into warm water while praying, and then add that water to the laundry during the rinse cycle.
Best of luck to you

What would be the difference between that bath crystal and Dixie Love products? I suspect Dixie Love might be appropriate for my situation (sustaining a loving and sexually spicy domestic relationship),but the information is limited on this forum compared to other products.I read the Dixie Love page but I guess I am seeking more detail.
Is there a reason I might use Dixie John Root products over Dixie Love?

Thanks for the response Miss Athena.
I am a little disappointed,though... as the link for the Dixie John Root really doesn't say much.I also looked it up in my copy of Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic and it had some great uses for it but not quite the background information I guess I'm seeking.
I appreciate the feedback.I'm just drawn to this root and want to figure out why!

Hello, snouvavou ,
OK, let's try this: The root (this page has a lot of information):
www.herb-magic.com/southern-john-root.html
Dixie love:
www.luckymojo.com/dixielove.html
Now, the Dixie love products have many more added ingredients to facilitate the results that you want. So, it's a combination of other "goodies"
The root alone can be used for luck, love, money, sex, etc.
So, it would be your choice. I would prefer using both.
I hope this helps
take care
