Now I did read that couch grass can be kept in the house to alleviate depression, I put my order from the bag it came in into a 'tea bag' and prayed over it for intention. Is that all I need to do now? Planning on keeping it in my bed for the moment, as I'm either out working or at home collapsed, figured that would be a good place for it in proximity to me.

That is a very good way to use it. You might add Hops flowers to it to ease your sleeping, and remember that coffee, tea, and chocolate are also both medical and magical herbs that lift depression. And be sure to take Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12. Just saying.
