Howdy, again! Waycross, GA

Greetings Good Folk!
Reintroducing myself. I'm a native of Waycross Georgia which is featured via informants in Hyatt's work. My paternal Grandmother was an area midwife and herbalist, and even prepared the dead for burial.... until my Grandfather out an end to that! LOL
My interests and studies are varied, from folk magic, hoodoo, to Lucumi/IFA, and Traditional Witchcraft.
I'm currently going back over Hyatt's records in hopes of gleaning more information about hoodoo in this very town. Researching graveyards, etc. Would really love to interview any local descendents of those who were interviewed. Unsure how to make this happen! Any suggestions, let me know. I'm hoping to perhaps figure out what graveyards were being used in that time period within the African American community. I know of one, Hazzard Hill, which I have frequently visited and used.
Still hoping to take and complete the hoodoo course one of these days!
Going to try my best to stay active in the forums!
Glad to be here.
