Hello there you divine folks! Lurker of a few months here on the forums.

Name's Gypsy... I'm a Pacific Northwest empath and intuit who grew up on an Indian reservation and therefore I've luckily been part of the "knowing" of magick for most of my life.

I am very into Astrology, Tarot, the study of Medicine Work (native american version of hoodoo) ... attended sweat lodge and NAC peyote tipi... learned some about Obeah from Jamaicans I worked for one summer... and now recently am going Hoodoo crazy.

Up until now my work has been thought manifestation based only. That's all I have really needed. I have a specific aspect in my birth chart that has been explained to me in different words by several talented and well known astrologers here in the northwest.. something to do with Neptune... one called it "The power of the Magician" ... which basically means that my thoughts manifest into reality more quickly, blatantly and powerfully than your average person. So I must be extremely careful of my thoughts-- as they say "you can't afford the luxury of a negative thought" -- uugh story of my life! lol

I cried when I found this out... because I've lived with it all my life and its been both a blessing and a curse. I am constantly having to work on my thought control. I've more than once manifested my own car accidents just minutes before having them... simply by carelessly letting my thoughts wander into thinking I was about to have one. On the other hand.. I've manifested such things as a beautiful Mercedes SUV being bought outright as a gift for me, just 48 hours after suddenly deciding I wanted a luxury car....not ASKING for it...But TELLING... I was looking at my old clunker and picturing the car I wanted while thanking Spirit for the new car as if it was already there. I'm particularly good with inanimate object manifestation... my friends are always in shock and like to ask me to do it for them but it doesnt work as often for them as it does for me.

Anyways.. thats just a little about me and my personal mojo. I'm here to learn more about hoodoo of course, make new spirit friends and get help with a situation that has become very, very important to me. Thanks!

Here is some info on how the forums are set up. It is divided into four parts:

1) News and Announcements about the Lucky Mojo Curio Company and this site.

2) Lucky Mojo Spiritual Supplies and how to use them, listed in threads by product type and product title.

3) Life Conditions and Situations, with recommended Lucky Mojo products, spells, and advice.

4) The Online Hoodoo Community, including sites, events, and outreach sponsored by Lucky Mojo.

When you post, it helps your moderators, who are recompensed volunteers, if you post in the area of the board that is best suited to the archival of your question or comment. That way moderators will not have to move your post or merge it into ongoing threads.

If you can't find a post you made, it may have been moved or merged. Go to your profile by clicking on your name and "search recent posts" -- you will find it.

Within each board section there are STICKY threads -- ones that always stay "stuck" to the top. 2) Please do not spam the moderators by sending multiple duplicated private messages asking for personal help outside the board; many of our moderators do perform readings and rootwork spell-casting for clients, but they are professionals and you should approach them as you would any other professional.

3) Please do not post illegal copies of material from other web sites or from books.

4) Please do not post put-downs of any group of people based on their religion, race, or national origin, including derogatory comments
