Hello all!

Hi everyone!
I'm a 22 year old female from the American South. I've been lurking here for a while but finally decided to join and purchase some LM products.
I've always been super interested in Hoodoo ( and to a much lesser extent Voodoo) especially because it's something I feel ran though my family and was lost as we all migrated further out of south.
I'm 3/4 Lousianna Creole and unfortunately I'm the only one in my generation who makes the food, speaks the language and practices the culture. I guess I see Hoodoo as a way for me to get closer to my roots, plus the more I look around my family the more I see that some of the traditions (like an ancestral altar) are there it's just that the meaning behind them is lost. I'm so thankful that there are people in the world who are working to preserve thus important part of African American culture.
Blessings!
