Making and Using Jewish Amulet Bowls with Dr. Jeremy Weiss
Some of the very oldest written charms and talismans of protection and desire are the Jewish Amulet Bowls made of clay and buried in the foundations of ancient homes around the Middle East.
In this world-wide folk magic workshop, Dr. Jeremy Weiss, the author of "Vulvamancy" and a noted expert on the history and practice of historical and contemporary Jewish magic, will reveal the secrets of these ancient artifacts and lead a workshop in which every participant will fashion a personal, highly effective, and spiritually charged Amulet Bowl to take home for private use. No prior experiences with pottery, the Kabbalah, or the Hebrew language are required -- everyone can make a full-size Jewish Amulet Bowl, and hands-on instruction will be provided to all.
TAKE-HOME: A two-page flyer on Jewish Amulet Bowls -- and your own Amulet Bowl, which you will make and inscribe at the workshop under the direction of Dr. Weiss.
