Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
I also have a question, at the end of the 9 days, I am to stick the 9 pins into the target's picture in 3 double crosses, is it alright if they stick into his face? Thanks!

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Hello Ms Cat!
Thank you so much for responding (I'm honored to get a direct response from you as a newbie) and thank you very much to Heidi for making my mojo
As Heidi has made them for so long it was probably a mishandling on my part that made the charm come loose. I'll definitely be much more careful with my little one. It was more of an accidental peep on my dog's part since I was moving the mojo and she came up to me at that very moment to nosily see what i was doing. Unfortunately my closets are also considered a free snooping ground so I will try the overturned bowl/dish method with something to secure it down.
Thank you so much again!

Excited about my mojo bag! Just to be sure, it is permissible to dispose of candle remains/pins via burial (yard, lawn, etc) if you cannot get to running water such as a river or creek?

Hi mars84,
If you are disposing of spell remains in your yard, dispose in the front yard for spells designed to draw something or someone to you, and in the back yard for anything you are trying to keep with you.
If your goal is another purpose (such as ridding yourself of something negative), stick to running water.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
That's why I was confused. I was reading the instructions that came with it (it's a Love Me mojo bag) and it mentioned the prep work of a candle and pins and disposing it in running water. I read here that burial was okay. I wanted to make sure. Thank you!

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Hi, I had finished the 'Love Me (Triple Strength) spell on the 16th of December. Since then, I haven't heard a love declaration from the person whom I did the spell on. My questions are: How long does it take for the spell to start working after it has been done? And how long does it last? Note: The person I worked on has feelings for me as well. I know he wants to declare his love for me, and I thought maybe the spell might help boost his confidence or so.
Hope to hear back,
Maddie

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
In my experience, spells start working immediately, they tend to take the path of least resistance. Still you may not see the results as quickly. You may want to get a reading for specifics. Good Luck!

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
I got a triple strength love mojo bag from lucky mojo. I fed her. Gave her a name. I felt she was working for me, but not as strong as a triple strength would imply/suggest. My mother was doing laundry and emptied out my pillowcase where I kept her close. I called in luckymojo to see if my mojo hand could be saved. I was told to anoint it with rose water. 3 weeks later, the bag doesn't seem to be helping me make progess. It might be time to dispose of it. I can't bury it...what other options do I have? I appreciate all the help.

Hello Eternal_Moonlight,
Have you tried using a pendulum to make sure that the mojo bag has died? You may want to do that first. And then if you can't bury it in your yard, can you bury it in a potted plant?

I can't bury the mojo hand. What else can I do to dispose of it and I intend to buy a new one. I dont have potted plants either. Do people burn it? Maybe that is not safe. Safe methods please.

Get a tree's permission to bury the mojo by it.
Then, bury the mojo and leave the tree an offering such as water and a dime

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
I have a five month old Love Me mojo. Everything is going well with it. I wrapped the pins like ms cat suggested in this thread, but it seems like after being carried around so often, the pins have gotten loose. They now stick out of the mojo occasionally. I maneuver them so they’re buried in the herbs, but am unsure if there’s anything else that can be done? I know opening this mojo is a big no-no.

Hello Snowdrop,
In general I do not think there is much else that could be done in this situation other than to maybe get a reading to make sure your mojo is still alive and working. If it continues to get to uncomfortable to carry it could be a sign that it has lived it's life and it's time for a new one.
Peace~

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Hello,
I have a Love Me mojo hand that I made more than two years ago which I have been keeping in a pocket in a pair of pants in the closet. The mojo hand bag is loosely knitted and leaks magnetic sand. I am wondering if I can re-make the mojo hand using a new charm bag. If that is the case, what are the steps and should I see a practitioner? I live in San Jose, which is close enough for a day's trip to Forestville, where the mojo hand was originally put together.

Hello yuguang,
If your mojo bag is leaking its contents, it is definitely time to make a new one.
You could do it yourself by fishing out any minerals or curios it contains, plus your petition if you've included one, and replacing any herbs or magnetic sand. You could always have it redone at Lucky Mojo, since you live close by. Since you seem unfamiliar with how to do it yourself, it may be best to leave it to the experts there.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hello Pegasus,
You could try that, although it is formulated to draw in love from another person. Give it a try and use your personal concerns to see what results you get.
You could also visit the following thread for more spell advice on increasing self love and esteem:

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
I'm looking to draw in a specific person and wanted a mojo targeted to them.
I'm trying to decide between making my own love me mojo or purchasing one from lucky mojo.
I'd like to know if we add our own petition and a personal concern to the lucky mojo made mojo bag?
Thank you

Yes, we recommend that. In the old days, when much of the work was walk-in trade, the root fdoctor would get the items for use, tell the customer to come back in 3 days and make the bag with the personal concerns. Since the 1920s, however (about 100 years!) more and more companies have worked by mail order, so it is now the custom to order the mojo for the condition or purpose required and desired, and then open it and add personal concerns.

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
It's here!
So just one more question I think. I have a bit of cleansing to do first but essentially I am not willing to wait another 3 weeks until boxing day to begin this.
Is there any particular day you would avoid beginning the 9 day candle work for this mojo? Like we have the full moon next Thursday would this not be a great day to begin? Or am I good to go when I am ready?

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Graveyardhag,
Unless the mojo has a specific time to begin in the instructions, you could work by the moon, days of the week, planetary hours, or whatever you wish. If you don't want to wait for moon to come around to waxing you could work start the spell on Friday which is ruled by Venus. I usually save my prosperity and success work for Thursdays but that is just my personal preference. You could also see where Venus is in respect to your work. Is it in your sun sign? I would try to align some of these occurences to your work and go from there. Just don't let it stress you out.
If the mojo does come with a specific time to start, I would stick to it for the best results.

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Hi Terra Rising,
The instructions for this one say to begin this spell at the new moon. But as I said, that is 3 weeks away. There have been answers higher in the thread to begin when ready if really needed, I was just looking to see if there was anytime more experienced rootworkers would avoid.
I can do other work if I wait, but it is also going to mean no mojo until into the new year, when it could be working for me by the end of next week.

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Hi Graveyardhag,
On a personal note, if I buy a Mojo from a professional Mojo-maker, like one from Lucky Mojo, I make sure to follow the instructions to a T. I mean, if you wanted to experiment, you could create your own, you know what I mean? Especially if it's one of your first, I think you'd be well served to follow the directions of the professional who created that for you.
Just my .02 cents! I've followed directions on the three Mojo Bags I've received from the shop, and had great success with each.

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Hi FianchaCybele,
I had intended to, and I'm not adamant I'll do it before then but still 3 weeks is 3 weeks you know. Plus the 9 days of the spell. I do not want to miss out on time where the mojo could be working for me.
Unfortunately the postage was not as fast as I hoped but faster than I expected and it's turned up the week after I could have started.
I considered making my own but really don't have the knowledge for it and it would have purely been an experiment lol. It is my first one.
I'll think about it for a few days.

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
Hi Graveyardhag,
I totally get it. I'm impatient by nature, so I find it difficult to wait for the right timing, too.
Some folks work by days of the week, and Friday, the day of Venus, is an excellent day to begin love work.
I still advise sticking with Lucky Mojo's guidelines, but if you do decide to go for it, Friday would be a great day to begin.
Best of luck to you!

Re: Love Me Mojo Hand Questions and Answers
So I did end up waiting and the new moon is this week just getting everything together now so it's ready to go boxing day.
Now my question is regarding the pins that go in the candle and then into the mojo bag.
I have normal sized pins and I also have smaller ones called sequin pins that will be quite a bit safer in the mojo bag I believe. Since it will spend most of its time in my bra I don't particularly want to be stabbed by them.
It might seem like a silly question but it is important to me that I get this as right as i can. I'd hate to do all the work and make a mistake on something as small as the pins.
1) Would using these smaller pins be an ok thing or should I stick with the longer ones?

Graveyardhag,
1) Small pis are just fine. When i make a mojo hand with pins in it, i sew them into a small piece of leather, so they do not stab through.
Good luck.

Thank you very much Miss Cat.
I did look for a piece of leather or something similar but I live in a pretty small town and couldn't find anything. I have a few ideas I will experiment with and try to find the safest way to do this.
I've got some EVA here but I'm not sure if it will be flexible enough.
But if I can use the smaller pins that's half the problem solved already so that's fantastic.

I don't know about where you live, but around here a good source for small pieces of nicely tanned leather is in thrift stores -- old wallets and purses!

Love Me Mojo Hand
Use in Magic:
Improve your love life Love
Me Mojo Hand. Each Lucky Mojo Bag comes complete with a vial of Love Me dressing oil. Love Me is an occult formula designed to draw a person of the opposite sex closer and cause him or her to openly declare feelings of love; it is said to draw passionate love from a specific party and is rarely, if ever, used for casual hook-ups.
Spell Methods:
A mojo is the staple amulet of African-American hoodoo practice, a flannel bag containing one or more magical items, such as roots, herbs, seeds, coins, charms, a petition paper, and/or personal concerns, made to assist in the accomplishment of a wish, desire, or prayer. A mojo made for luck, wealth, love, protection, or health is traditionally carried on the person, but some mojos are hidden in a place where they will work on those who pass by. Alternative names for the mojo include hand, mojo hand, conjure hand, lucky hand, mojo bag, conjure bag, trick bag, tricker bag, root bag, toby, jomo, joomoo, gree-gree, grigat, gris-gris, and nation sack. A mojo used for divination, somewhat like a pendulum, is called a Jack, Jack bag, or Jack ball.
Product Details:
Lucky Mojo brand mojo hands contain authentic, traditional roots, herbs, and symbolic ingredients fixed in a flannel bag. Each one is made with consideration and prayer. They come with dressing oil and full instructions for use.
