Hello,

What exactly is the Blues Boy Mojo good for? Is it a general, all-around good luck bringer? Is it more on the money drawing/gambling side? Or, is it good for Musicians? I'm interested in buying one but not sure what it's best for.

Thanks,

marcoa

It's good for all three -- plus any work that you do with your five fingers.

Blues Man's Mojo Hand

Hello! I can see that you provide the blues boy mojo hand - but what effect should it have?

I want to concentrate on my playing and to be successful in my music and performance and studies for the next few years. In that case, should I buy a blues boy, a triple strength blues boy or maybe think about a custom hand with a lodestone, and something to promote concentration, inspiration, dedication, success and skill?

What would you recommend?

Crown of Success might also work, but consider getting a human finger bone to put in whichever hand you get.

Interesting advice. I can't find a reference to human finger bone on the site though - is it available through LMCC?

As far as I remember, LM does sell finger bones. You may have to call and ask shop directly to make sure they have some in stock.

This is all great advice, thanks.

Final question; with all of the elements in it, what would be the effect of the blues boy mojo hand?

I'm not sure of EVERYTHING that's in it, but it's a masculine hand, for sure. It is intended as a traditional "blues" hand, for everything the old blues men sang about.

I was in a similar question, and the LM staff told me it's similar to Crown of Success but with a more all-purpose and public performance flavor to it, whereas Crown of Success is entirely for career.

There was not a instruction sheet that came with your Triple Strength Blues Boy Mojo Hand!? That is a rare and uncommon occurrence. I would call the shop and see if they can mail you or email you the instruction sheet.

The Blues Boy Special -- named after the musician B. B. ("Blues Boy") King -- is one of our three most popular of all time, both in regular and triple strength form.

It is a perfect musician's hand, a great gambling hand, and an all around man's lucky hand.

Hello,

I have recently taken up the guitar lessons. I have looked at the site and found two hands that seem to fit my situation. The BLUES BOY SPECIAL MOJO HAND and the Crown of Success Mojo Hand.

I have tried to take lessons and get better at guitar but seem to give up. I feel the success hand would help with me learning. Please let me know what hand I should get or if I can have one made for me that has aspects of the two?

I'd go with the Blues Boy hand, since it is specific to your situation.

Mojos come with a small bottle of dressing oil; the Blues Boy hand comes with Fast Luck oil. You may want to buy the 1/2 bottle.

I just bought the Triple Strength Blues Boy Special. I did not see your post till after so I did not order the extra oil. Can I use whiskey to dress this hand or do I have to use this oil ?

Yes, many people dress mojos with whiskey; it's traditional. Since many musicians past and present enjoy a drink, it seems appropriate.

I read that it is not good for the hand to start it with oil and then change to something else for feeding. Is this true ?

where to hide mojo hand?

I'm getting a triple strength blues boy mojo and was wondering if I can hide it in a speaker? Or will the magnets of the speaker cause the mono harm?

Hi BlueFish,

the ideal would actually be to keep the mojo on your person if you can.

For feeding your hand, many have used both depending on what the hand happens to want and its worked fine. If you're more comfortable using only oil or only whisky, by all means ;)

Blessings and enjoy your Mojo.

Im sorry if this is silly but in the first week when I get the mojo where should I keep it when I shower. I can easily keep it against my skin all other times and under the pillow at night, But when I shower where should I place it?

of course this will be a while but, when the hand wears out can I place it in another bag myself or should I send it back to be redone?

Put the mojo in a safe place while you shower, such as a dresser drawer under clothing.

I just got my mojo. I am very happy with my little Buddy. I have not even had him a week.

When I personalized the mojo as I put the last charm back in the bag and My ears got this loud Bass sound. Boom Boom Boom. It was very strange and could have been a sound from the street, but the fact that it was at that exact moment in time was amazing. I have read it will "flutter" but this was more than expected.

The next day I got a call from my sister saying my cousin was in an accident. The truck rolled and looked like it was run over by a tank. The whole truck was now a ball of crushed metal except the drivers side where he was. Turns out he walked away from he crash with a couple of bruises when he should have not even made it. I don't know if my mojo was looking out for my family, but I have a feeling that he was.

I have only bonded with this Mojo for almost a week and he has a lot of what I think of as emotion/expressions.

Thanks again for everything.

All around mans lucky hand...so would this not be a good choice for a female blues guitar player like myself? I've been playing guitar for 30 years now but want to take my abilities further. Haven't played in a band for a few years but I'm just about ready for another go around. So is there a Blues Girl Special Mojo Hand?

I actually had the same question regarding the Blues Boy Mojo Hand. Only because many of the other Mojos are gender-specific, is Blues Boy as well? For us women who play and sing the blues, would the Blues Boy be appropriate? Or would a "Blues Mama" mojo be better, and makeable on a custom basis?

Wonderin'. Would be sooooo cool...

The Crown of Success Mojo is a great mojo, and it will help in multiple aspects of your life.

However, for a musician, I would instead recommend the Blues Boy special.

And you wear it next to your skin, for example tied to hang inside your pants against your skin. You can get more information on how to wear it, from the mojo instructions that come with the mojo, or from this web page: http://www.luckymojo.com/mojo.html

The Blues Boy Special comes with Black Cat Oil, and you can order Fast Luck Oil to blend with it if you prefer.

You may wear the mojo at any or all times.

Please familiarize yourself with the history and traditions of the mojo in African American folk-magic here:

You can (if you feel the need) add Crown of Success can be included in your work. If memory services, Five Finger Grass for success in all that you do and to get favors, and Deer's Tongue for eloquence in speech is included and will definitely enhance your work. Also, I would wear the mojo everyday for at least a week to get it working and you two bondings....

Hello all. I know this post was from a few years ago but I hope someone might still be able to answer my question about the Blues Boy Special. My question is would this blue boy special mojo hand be good for a person who is trying to be better at singing and increase his chances of getting discovered and noticed as a singer? I ask because I see a lot of people who posted about this being good for anything you do with your hands but singing is not something you do with your hands so I am not sure how that would work or if this kit would even be successful in helping me become a better singer. Help is appreciated so I can make sure before I go and buy this. Thanks

Good afternoon lucky mojo friends I'm a newbie seeking advice with my triple strength blues boy mojo I can finally get acquainted with now that I have a day off

1. The instructions say to dress my bag with the fast luck oil that came with it but I was wondering could I also anoint my bag with your other oils as well? Right now I have attraction, crown of success, and on the way I have master key, archangel uriel, and road opener.

2. Is it necessary to dress my bag and say a prayer each time before I start playing?

Thank you guys for taking the time to help me

Hello, jamaal1132,
Yes, you can use those oils also!! You're on the right track!
If this were me, I would most certainly dress the bag and pray over it each and every time that I was about to play.
It certainly would give you extra: "magic".
Just my thoughts.
Wishing you the very best!!

Hello,

I feel intuitively drawn to this mojo hand.

Can this be fixed to be an all-around good luck hand? For money, love and good times? I know there is the Red Clover mojo.

But I am torn between this mojo hand, john the conqueror and van van.

Thank you.

p.s, my career involves dexterity, using my hands and creativity - though it isn't music.

Hello, ConjureCal --

You are right in the way that you are thinking of the Blues Boy Special. It is an all purpose hand for creativity, luck, money, love, and even fame.

John the Conqueror is more about ruling and controlling, plus luck in money and sex.

Van Van is for changing bad luck to good, and for protection from evil.

Good luck to you!
