Here are my notes on the April 12 show - but you know it'll be better and juicier on the audioblog. I absolutely love my phone headset - lets me type while I listen.
2006-2) April 12: Open Forum Call-In Show on the Topic of Money Spells and Law Keep Away Spells (it's the Wednesday before Tax Day!)
DR. KIONI: Law Keep Away on tax docs as a general principle. Why not try Pay Me w/ Green Devil candle on your altar?
CAT agrees. Green Devil Pay Me spell is online. (See http://www.luckymojo.com/compelling.htm ... compelling --cat) "To live outside the law, you must be honest" Bob Dylan. Law Keep Away incl oregano as well as Poppy Seeds.
MOTHER PYRITE: PSALM 57 boils down to "the use of your gifts exalts the love of god!" This belief is at the root of all prosperity and must be established before prosperity work can succeed.
SINDY agrees uses Crown of Success on all business paperwork.
CAT: Those who present with money problems may have other issues. Man told me he had money troubles had to live on his "move to a better place" money over and over because of losing jobs. Tremendous sorrow over this. He was from the Philippines and hated living in US. Married three times, wanted Filipina wife. Had never been happy in love in the US. Really needed uncrossings and love work because entire family was equally badly off.
DR. KIONI: Yes: get to the root of the problem. Find out exactly what client needs and wants. What is the root cause of the emergencies that present themselves? Cat's client (above) presented bad gambling luck as initial symptom.
SINDY: Lucky coins? Esp. drilled (worn for luck before)?
CAT: $20 gold piece says "I've arrived" many famous lucky coins are now fabulously expensive collectors' coins. Working with hi-res color photocopies of the 1896 $2 silver certificate, "Educational Series," has pics of Robert Fulton and Samuel Morse, "Science Presenting Steam Engine and Telegraph to Commerce and Industry," called "whore's wages" because the "goddesses" portrayed are half-nekkid women. Any gold-colored coin is good. Recent Sacajawea dollar shows a woman making history.
DR. KIONI: Gold-plated sets of US coins should be useful. Made more precious & powerful by the addition of gold, yet are not useable as legal tender.
MOTHER PYRITE: This fact puts them in the same class as play money, but retains the power of real money. Gold plating kicks them out of the mundane world and into the magical world.
CAT uses play money not to do real work; just to demonstrate how to write petitions on a bill. Demonstrating on a real dollar (just $1) and then handing it over is a boost to the spirits of a desperate client.
QUEEN MABULLA (?): drilled dimes are also not legal tender now right?
CAT: Newbell Niles Puckett took pic of someone wearing a drilled dime. As money they are lucky; as silver, they are also worn at the ankle for *protection* prior use makes them more valuable for *your* magic.
BEATRICE: 1973 Canadian quarter and dollar have RMCP officer ("Mountie") on horse. 10-cent piece has famous fishing schooner, Bluenose (Bluestone?) won competitions, landed biggest catch in history. Look out for repro Elizabethan coin, "Angel" with image of St. Michael which Q. E. used to pay John Dee. Canadian pennies now rare and sovereigns which have St. George, Dragon; workers in Waterloo County PA used old British penny w/ similar design to cure fever (the Dragon defeated by St. George).
CAT: Go down to coin shop, look at "junk" coins, $3-5 range, for magically suggestive coins: royal wedding commemorative from Thailand, for instance, for love. Also lucky tokens made by hoodoo suppliers turn up there. Esp 1930s era LUCKY MOJO token - contains huge array of popular lucky symbols. Other wy to use dimes: file ridges off edge of silver dime; add to milk, bring to boil, stir and drink all, to get rid of tricks in your food. Milk has its own power. You can just boil the whole dime, and drink the milk, some people say.
DR. KIONI: Life Everlasting in money work?
CAT: Why not? The flowerrs are silver- and gold-colored. Other golden flowers represent gold coins: Calendula, Coreopsis, Marigold.
DR. KIONI: What about "Money Health" work unconventional gold flowers such as Dandelion strong and tenacious root.
CAT: Dandelions also have a golden-yellow flower!
BEATRICE: Chinese Lantern flowers dry a vase of them to make money last the winter. Coins run over by train --?
CAT: Use train-smashed coins for for money-luck and also for protection from danger; they are powerful, like lightning-struck wood. "Penny smasher" machines roll elongated coins out also and imprint new pictures, usually lucky. A great "money to play with" kind of work.
SINDY: Putting a penny on the tracks would light you up emotionally. She often uses $2 bills rolled w/ comfrey.
CAT: Comfrey leaf and sassafrass leaf good for "Money Stay with Me".
DR. KIONI: Honey with money! And kerosene money lamps, with Law Keep Away stuff in them at tax time.
CAT: Yes, Devil's Shoestrings, Indian head cents, anything that can sit safely in kerosene. Often asked, How do you keep away law and still draw in customers? Name the classes of people you want to keep away or draw in, as you lay down the trick.
BEATRICE A church law keep away problem: Provincial government has outlawed memorial garden for scattering ashes, after nine people were scattered here. What to do?
CAT: Well, you've got plenty of new graveyard dirt ready to hand. Put all the lawmakers' names together, burn their name paper, and mix the ashes with your memorial garden and church graveyard dirt. Also make honey jar on officials' names.
MOTHER PYRITE: Include names of people who wrote the law!
BEATRICE: It's not a malicious law some crooked people run scam graveyards; but still.
SIVA: What about dirt from IRS office?
CAT: Yes, definitely; to work on IRS agents.
BEATRICE: As grad student, I'm awarded yearly stipend but I'm always skint in summertime, need temp jobs and have to fill out bursary applications. How can I help career along?
CAT: Usual money spells, but include symbolism of desired career. Job descriptions under money candle. Hand out dressed business cards all the time. You have to make connections when you're not under pressure. Offer extra businss cards for people to give to their friends. If you have a website blow up the images, write tiny prayer in artwork in a closely matching color, reduce back to original size, and upload! This is a magical riff on the "electronic watermark".
DR. KIONI: Pray over water better yet, sugar water. Put it out for the ants; ask them to carry your prayer to the 4 corners of the earth.
MOTHER PYRITE: Hey spike a hummingbird feeder (chuparrosa!) for love magic.
CAT: Dress your dog or cat with money powders, if s/he hangs around your shop. We dress our dog Sophie; everybody pets her.
MOTHER PYRITE: Dress dollar bills for the homeless, pray Ps. 145:16 with them. Curiously enough, when I hand a homeless person a dressed bill, I never see them again. For my money, lodestones trump everything. A lodestone will talk to you, tell you how often to feed it and what. Many of them want whisky. Mine insists in Bushmill's says I've spoiled it for anything else.
CAT: I use Lodestones for all work, money and love. My money lodestone looks like a Guinea Pig. I was taught to give mine Old Crow Whiskey "'cause it's Injun." I also use Jack Daniels No. 7 Wiskey.
(Thank you, Michaele!!! --cat)

Dear Michaele, Dr.Kioni and Cat,
Thanks very much for the show; it was great to be able to talk
with everyone and especially thanks to Michaele for posting the
information.
I have a few small corrections to add to my remarks: Canada's silver
10 cent coin has a fishing Schooner Called the Bluenose on it-
Bluenose is an old term for someone from Nova Scotia, Canada.
Waterloo County is in Ontario Canada, not PA, it was settled by
Pennsylvania Dutch in the early 19th century and retains many of
their Characteristics- in 1950 W.J. Wintemberg published a National
Museum of Canada Bulletin Folk-lore of Waterloo County, Ontario
where I found the information about the use of coins with St.George
on them in Pow-Wow work.
I will be working with the memorial garden situation and keeping
things posted.
Again,
Thanks very much to all,
Baho1973
