Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour Archives
Would any of you know if there is a
way to hear last night's Rootwork Hour
show? I don't know what the tech
problem was, but my winamp said there was
an error in making the connection,
despite my being able to access the show
for the weeks prior, via the same method.
thanks,
Evan

(Dr. Kioni will eventually make the interview with Christine Wicker available through his archives for free download and via the CDs he sells. I know that folks will really want to hear this one, but it takes Dr. K. time to edit and encode them for his archives. He'll let us know when the new batch is online and also which ones he has available for sale. -cat)

Damn, I missed the Rootwork Hour! I fell asleep and completely forgot about it. Christine's book is in Barnes & Noble. I really want to purchase it. I browsed through it for a couple of minutes yesterday. When I get some money together, it is mine.
Isn't Christine a member of this group? It'd be nice if some of us [uh-hum=clearing throat] could get an autographed copy of her new book

(Christine IS a member of this group, and if she has autographed copies available, i'm sure she'll speak up and let folks know how to get them. Cjristine? --cat)

Hoodoo Rootwork Hour Radio Show 2005-11-04
Hello,
Again I want to thank you sincerely for the Hoodoo Hour and CD's.
Just a thought, I've been reading about Podcasting and other ways to
make radio shows available online.
Perhaps in the future instead of sending cd's, you could make a
separate paysite for "Members Only" where people can access/purchase
and download the shows right from the web browsers?
Look into it, and if interested, I can privately email you some links
of interest.
Blessings,
Jess

Hi,
Since this went up, Cat and I talked and we have a plan for getting
autographed copies to everyone. I've already emailed the publisher
about getting information to Cat on ordering books. Cat, I should
know something Monday, and either I'll contact you or the publisher
will.
We'll have those books sent to me. I'll autograph them and send them
to her for sale. If you want a more personalized autograph, you
could send a book and what you want on it to me:
Christine Wicker
P.O. Box 1151
Brookfield, WI 53008-1151.
As I've said in a previous post, I'd love to have more reviews on
internet book sites. They really make a difference in keeping the
books on the shelf. This month is critical because Barnes and Noble
is supporting this book strongly but if it doesn't sell, they will
begin sending it back. I think they still have it at 20 percent off.
If any of you have ideas for promotion I'd love to hear them. Dara,
I've postponed my trip to Dallas because the need to publicize the
book is so critical. I'll be there in December instead and maybe we
can get together then.
My web site is www.ChristineWicker.com. You can email me personally
at christine@christinewicker.com.
Thank you all again for your support.
Best,
Christine

Jess, I am on point
Check this out

As far as a payment system goes, I am considering a couple of options.
People who listen to our podcast can save the shows and burn them to
CD. However some people who access the audio blog and listen online
may want to download the shows and burn them onto CDs. Once I have all
the show podcast files edited and online, I will offer paid download
access. My quandry is how much to charge? LOL! Frankly my thoughts are
to offer free access to cat's students and paid access to the public.
Happy Hoodooing!

iTunes standard fee is 99¢ per song download. Perhaps this is a good
starting point?
