Hi everyone,
I'm very new to hoodoo and conjure. I want to learn more. This kind of craft is not new to me because it's part of my culture just never practice, but I do believe it in. I have mentioned it before, in different thread, me being here now or why I am doing this. There's an event in my life that prompted me to seek help especially with this craft. It's a matter of heart.
But before that, when I was young, I have heard stories about my father having an amulet and a book that's associated with the amulet. His amulet was purely for protection, it's only a woman could break the amulet. A group of people in our neighborhood beat my father, he was badly wounded but it seemed never faze him. According to my neighbor this was going on for hours, then suddenly somebody shouted "get a woman, have her scratch his skin!" Sure enough, a woman came, she happened to be a sister to one of the attackers. My neighbor recalled, she simply scratched the shoulder of your dad, and then he fell down. After he fell down, they saw a bright light came out of my father's body, then he died.
The following the day, particularly noon, my Grandmother along with 2 Aunts came. Our neighbor was wondering how they found out so fast when the radio station starting to broadcast at 4 am. And how they were already there when it would take at least a whole day to get to where we lived. We lived in a rural areas by the way including my grandparents, and during those time, there was only one bus that travel. Our neighbor asked my grandma, "how did you find out?" My grandma replied, "I felt something was going on, so she checked her crystal ball. And I knew who they are. They will suffer."
So my sister and I asked our neighbor, "how did you remember it so well when it happened 38 years ago?" She simply said, "you will never forget things like that."
My grandmother died early last year, and we only found out about the crystal ball just this December. I asked some of my cousins but they didn't know about it. Before her passing I talked to her over fb messenger, and that was the first we talked after 35 years. She was so fond of me.
Now back to my reason for being here, I was brokenhearted.
I am here to learn more.
blessings.
