Hi Fotunata,

Are you petitioning St Rita to draw something toward you? Then carve from bottom to top. Work from the top to bottom to rid yourself of something.

Good luck.

I am praying to St Rita offering her red and white roses and putting a bowl of clean water on the altar with a picture of her on my phone. I thank you in advance and hope you listen to my prayer

Hello Everybody,

Is it too late to write about saints on this thread?

I read about St Martha and I decided to look into this saint so I read about her then purchased a small statue and set up an altar for her. Due to my current situation, I thought she was the right saint for me but she had someone else in mind for me! So I decided to do a novena.

Well on every occasion I approached the altar to pray for Martha's intercession I called her Rita, Then whenever I thought of her I thought of Rita. now I have never heard of St Rita. I thought it was the person troubling me playing with my thoughts, then one day on approaching my altar I heard a woman's voice say, Rita, Rita, Rita... so I read up on St Rita & I went and purchased a statue of St Rita and a Chaplet to pray with.

Well lo, and behold the problem I have is under control since praying to St Rita and doing 9-day Novena to her & praying with a Chaplet.

I am not Catholic so this is a major breakthrough for me. I did initially pray with Psalms and they had a major effect on the situation, but the offender recruited more helpers. I had been to a few practitioners for work to help with this problem with little success. The problem is not fully irradicated but I have been put into a position of having control over the situation. :-).

flowerposie ,

Nice Testimony, when you have a gut feeling, or keep hearing a name, listen to it, this is the spirit talking to you and directing you, the spirt led work. I moved your post to the topic on Saint Rita!

I will start working with Santa Rita, but I would like to know about a few things:

1- What offerings can be given as thanks and etc.?
2- I heard that you can't give her red candles, what would be the reason?

That would be it, thanks for the replies! :)

Ti Woz,

It is common to give Saints water, a candle, flowers and other items based on tradition. Some items may be fresh fruit, fish, even cake. I am not sure why you cannot give her red candles, however, many saints are also associated with a color candle as well. If in doubt I would use white.
