Saint Peter Spiritual Supplies Questions and Answers

I was reading up on saints and read that Saint Peter can be called upon to help remove obstacles. From what little I can find, the way to petition him involves lighting a red and white candle and that's it. Does anyone know what day of the week I should begin or if there is certain prayer that one must say?

Hi CherryRedBoom
My knowledge of St. Peter as a remover of obstacles is associated with his counterpart the orisha Oggun in Santeria or Voudu, Oggun is depicted as the blacksmith ruler of iron, fire and weaponry. He is seen as a "machete" wielding remover of obstacles. A very powerful deity to invoke for very difficult obstacles. His day is Tuesday and his numbers are 3 or 7 and his colors are green and black.
However the St. Peter in just the catholic belief is the patron of fisherman and seen as the Prince of the apostles. His day is also on Tuesday. And the colors would be seen as red and white since Peter was the leader after Jesus and those are the colors also associated with Jesus.
The prayer for St. Peter can be found by following the link below.
http://www.catholic.org/clife/prayers/prayer.php?p=186
Hope this Helps..
Peace & Blessings,
Mama Gitana

In Vodou, St. Peter is associated with Papa Legba not Ougan, because he has keys and stands at the gates of heaven. St. Jacques in Rada and St. George in Petro are associated with Ougan in Vodou.

I am always expanding my knowledge about saints, and learning to work with them. I just happen to feel like Saint Peter was calling me. Saint Peter is a great saint for many different reasons. In any case, I would work with saint peter not only to remove obstacles, but for forgiveness of sins, and for courage. A client of mine has worked with him for business as well. Just for clarification his day of the week is indeed Tuesday, and you can work with red or white candles. His symbol is keys which are said to be those of heaven. When working with him, I put keys on his altar space, which you can get altar keys at lucky mojo.

Also, you need to get some divination to see if Saint Peter is willing to work on this issue. If you are trying to teach someone a lesson...I think there are other ways for example you may want to do some reversing work.

@BerthaB
You can work with either Red or White. I have worked with a general dressed road opener candle as well. If you want you can make a triangle formation...it doesnt matter which color candles are at each point. So you are going to use the red, white, and orange in a triangle formation, and in the middle put in the candle you are are trying to open the way on.
So for example, if you are trying to get a job, then you may want to put a dressed steady work candle in the middle. As that Saint Peter help to open the way on the matter. In addition, I would pay close attention to which candle burns the fastest in the triangle formation. So if the red candle goes out the fastest, saint peter may like you to work with him with red candles as opposed to the other two.

According to the Book of Acts, St. Peter was such a powerful healer that even his shadow could heal, and he raised a woman from the dead. He was also freed from prison by an angel. Thus, he could be petitioned for healing and court cases, especially if an innocent person is incarcerated.
St. Peter oil has a pleasant, somewhat floral scent and I would recommend it for petitioning him.

Yesterday evening, after my usual mountain trekking exercise, on reaching the top of a mountain, a spectacular sunset revealed in front of my eyes. I whispered: st Jude, you that help hopeless cases, please help my old, ill father and free him from his sufferings.
St. Peter, you that hold the keys of paradise, offer a blissful place for my old ill father, either on earth by healing him or in the heavens.
Today, my father sleeps in peace, after a long counter with cancer, pains and hardships.
St. Jude and St peter i am convinced that you offered the best solution for him.
Thank you for hearing my prayers.
Please accompany my father in his heavenly life.
Despite the loss I feel relieved about him.

Hi I am wanting to petition St Peter,
his day is Tuesday and I can burn red or white candles.
You promise him something and then give it to him after your petition to him or once it's done?
What is the prayer I followed the link above and it can't be found.
I have looked but there are so many. is there one particular one we should use?
thank you for your help.

@Shantilly Lace, this is a powerful Catholic Prayer to ST Peter, you can use it...
O glorious Saint Peter, who, in return for thy strong and generous faith, thy profound and sincere humility, and they burning love, wast rewarded by Jesus Christ with singular privileges, and, in particular, with the leadership of the other Apostles and the primacy of the whole Church, of which thou wast made the foundation stone, do thou obtain for us the grace of a lively faith, that shall not fear to profess itself openly, in its entirety and in all of its manifestations, even to the shedding of blood, if occasion should demand it, and to sacrifice of life itself rather than surrender. Obtain for us likewise, a sincere loyalty to our holy mother, the Church; grant that we may ever remain most closely and sincerely united to the Roman Pontiff, who is the heir of thy faith and of thy authority, the one, true, visible Head of the Catholic Church, that mystic ark outside of which there is no salvation.l implore you to obtain for me (Request). Grant, moreover, that we may follow, in all humility and meekness, her teaching and her advice, and may be obedient to all her precepts, in order to be able here on earth to enjoy a peace that is sure and undisturbed, and to attain one day in heaven to everlasting happiness. Amen.
V. Pray for us, Saint Peter the Apostle,
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US PRAY.
O God, who hast given unto Thy blessed Apostle Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and the power to bind and loose: grant that we may be delivered, through the help of this intercession, from the slavery of all our sins: Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.

Hello, Dragonfly72,
I personally don't give him cigars.
Any offering that you make can be taken to the woods or the crossroads. Just make sure that you tell the spirit there that this was an offering to St Peter.
Some people believe that you can just leave the food outside for the animals.

I was reading somewhere that St-Peter opens roads, but can close them as well. I was thinking to petition him to close the roads of some people which may try to harm me. Do you think it will work? Someone tried that? Thanks!!!

Hello, Dragonfly72,
PLEASE make sure that you explain to him that they are trying to harm you. Make sure it's justified in his eyes.
Let him know that you fear them.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to ask for St Michael's help in protecting you
Good luck and I pray for your safety.

I am needing clarification on setting up an alter for St Peter to open roads to clear blockages and open up new opportunities, etc (i.e. reinventing myself for a new life). I am going to do a Cut 'n' Clear followed by Open Road. I had planned to use an orange cloth and candle, but then I read about the triangle formation using a red, white and orange candle, setting the center candle for the intent of the spell. Hmmm, what are the advantages for each method?
In addition to the LM Open Road products, I was thinking of adding additional herbs of abre camino & vetivert. I also read the crossroad dirt 'opens roads for opportunities and choices' (definitely need input on that one along with ritual for collecting dirt if it is advised?).
I certainly want to be respectful to the saint and conduct the spell correctly, but at the same time don't want to over complicate it either. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hello, Becky ,
The advantage of Cut and Clear is that you are letting go of past situations.
The road opener then opens the roads for new opportunities.
So, in other words, letting go of the past so that the roads/doors are opened wide. Imagine that if you are still stuck on past situations that you may not see the opportunities that are presented to you.
I usually collect dirt from the four corners of a busy street.
Sorry, but can't speak for the herbs that Lucky Mojo does not sell.
I usually have a St Peter candle which is fixed and dressed along with the other candles that you had mentioned. Find it here:
www.luckymojo.com/candle-saint-peter.html
I'm not quite sure that I have answered your questions (as I got a little confused with them).
If not, let me know
Take care

Hello, Becky,
I usually ask permission from the Man at the Crossroads (there is no particular incantation for this. Just say what's in your heart).
And then thank him and leave a dime at each corer after picking up the dirt.
But that's just what I do!
Take care

This sounds like an interesting way to petition Saint Peter. Suppose I was petitioning him to opean the roads on a relationship that has had its share of issues, would putting a dressed red/pink/yellow (for communication) candle in the center work and would thwere be any problems in petitioning him while doing the St Martha novena?
Also, what prayer would be the best to use when asking St Peter to open roads? I've seen a bunch of prayers and none spoke directly about this aspect.

Hello, freakingredhead ,
Here is the prayer that has had success for many people:
"O Holy Apostle, because you are the Rock upon which Almighty God has built His Church, obtain for me I pray you: lively faith, firm hope, and burning love, complete detachment from myself, contempt of the world, patience in adversity, humility in prosperity, recollection in prayer, purity of heart, a right intention in all my works, diligence in fulfilling the duties of my state of life, constancy in my resolutions, resignation to the will of God and perseverance in the grace of God even unto death; that so, by means of your intercession and your glorious merits, I may be made worthy to appear before the Chief and Eternal Shepherd of Souls, Jesus Christ, Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns forever. Amen."

My only question is, should I do the triangle formation mentioned in the post above (red, white, and orange in a triangle formation, and in the middle the candle of the color I choose) or should I do a triangle formation with the colors I mentioned (pink, red and yellow)? Also, would it help to put a picture of my target next or under the candles?

Hello, freakingredhead ,
Yes, you can d that. But I am just a little hesitant about asking for too many things at one time.
What I usually do is light a vigil candle to St Peter for a week (until it buns out by itself) and not ask any favors. Then, when the candle is over, I start a new spell where I ask him to open the roads. But, I only ask for one or 2 things. So, with this, I would use the red white and orange (with the red closest to his image.
People make mistakes by asking for to many things at one time (and then wonder why their petitions didn't work). I don't want you to do the same
Wishing you great success with this.

Hello everyone!
I read through this thread and petitioned to Saint Peter last week to help me land a role for a music video I had an audition for. I didn't get it. I'm wondering if perhaps I didn't petition him correctly? I had an alter set up with a photo of him, a piece of citrine, my intention written onto a piece of paper folded, with a red candle on top. Maybe he didn't want to work with me? I have my visa interview coming up this week and I desperately need to get this visa or my career will be in danger!

Saint Peter has helped me a lot to remove obstacles in my life. All kind of them. When I need to remove a certain obstacle, I pray to him with the collaboration of Saint John the Baptist, the one who prepare the ways and roads as he was the one who prepared the way to the Jesus' arrival.
As he both of them are always kind to me, I'd like to thank Saint Peter and Saint John here publicly.

Thank you Saint Peter for coming powerfully through for me in a short period of time.
My wife had financial issues and told me about it,l petitioned St Peter for half of the amount my wife needed and within 9 days he granted it.My wife now complained that she still needed the other half,l went to my altar and started another Novena to St Peter, yesterday he provided not only the entire money but added extra that will take care of other expense.
Thank you Saint peter,Bishop of the Church,Prince of the Apostles and the Keeper of the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.
