Jesus Malverde is a Mexican "folk saint" who is petitioned in cases of illegal transport and other activities. His veneration is centered around Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, where he lived and died, but has spread into the United States.

Hello. I've been interested in Jesus Malverde since I first heard of Him. But I have a question. If I was to set up an altar to Him and give him offerings, what do I do with them? Are they supposed to stay on there or be used in some way (like money and whiskey for example)?

Hello, joshwilburn1017 ,

My rule of thumb is that anything edible will be removed in 24 hours. This is because they have already consumed the essence of the food/drink

But things such as money, or other non-biodegradable items would stay on the altar as they are their gifts that you gave to them.

Are there any herbs sacred to Him? I see examples of herbs that are associated with other products, but none for him, so I was curious.

I am devoted to Jesus Malverde. He is so much more than a patron of criminals. He helps anyone, but if he comes through for you, you must help the poor in some way. I use a pendulum to ask him where I should give. Yesterday I gave to the ACLU. He has also instructed me to give to my church.

I was offering him whiskey or tequila, but I found that he also likes coconut water. I try to light candles and give him fresh coconut water on his altar everyday.

Ask Jesus Malverde for help with money, luck, protection, and miracles.

I'm in Mexico and well malverde is in what we call the sinners trinity: la flaca, st Jude and malverde.

I'm planning on ordering some products from Lucky Mojo as I trust lm immensely for my spiritual supplies but I don't see any statues of malverde. Am I missing it? I see oils and powders. I'm using a candle right now but I'd like to upgrade his altar space any lm suggestions?
