The AIRR Tech Team met today to debut our brand new page on Tenskwatawa. He was known as "The Shawnee Prophet." He founded a purification movement that promoted unity among all Native American tribes, rejected assimilation with European-American settlers, and renounced the use of alcohol. Catherine Yronwode wrote the page and Miss Michaele, Mama Vergi, Ms. Robin, and Nagasiva Yronwode helped by making minor edits and testing links to other pages on the site.
If you know AIRR primarily as a directory of hoodoo practitioners and are not familiar with the AIRR pages on religious traditions of the world, check out our brand new page on Tenskwatawa!
