The AIRR Tech Team brought out our evergreens, set up the log for burning, and polished our seasonal page on Yule, the ancient Pagan midwinter festival, originally dedicated to gods such as the Celtic Cernunnos and the Nordic Odin, and still celebrated as a beloved add-on to the Christmas holiday of Christians -- when people deck the halls with boughs of holly, bring coniferous trees into the home and ornament them regally, engage in group caroling, toast one another with alcoholic beverages, eat meals featuring ham, and exchange presents. Catherine Yronwode wrote the page with contributions by ConjureMan, Papa Newt, and Lukianos. Catherine sourced the photo and the postcard art by unknown artists, and Nagasiva Yronwode created this graphic announcement. Check out our well-decorated page on Yule!
