Once again in cataloguing articles for the Lucky W Amulet Archive, i have strayed from the intent conveyed by the name "Lucky W" -- and this week i am presenting one of the best known venerational images of the Roman Catholic faith, Maria Dolorosa del Monte Calvario. Here, for my Patrons, is an article i wrote in 2006, but never published on my web site, now fully illustrated, that tells the story of this beautiful depiction of Mary and how it entered the folk religions of Latin America and the Caribbean.
