Hello [Plus: How I ended up here]

Unread post by againstthegrain144 » Fri Jun 03, 2022 10:55 pm

I have been lurking here on and off for awhile now. I won't get into what led me to the discovery that magic is real, but that part is not an issue for me. Only authenticity.

I am good at discernment and I can tell Catherine is the real deal after reading parts of her correspondence course. What a well written, truly thought out and passionate heart she has put into her craft. I have had a roller coaster of a life that has led me to this point in time right now. I have many questions, some of which I know cannot be answered. Some of which may be clear. My path is uncertain but undoubtedly important (however minuscule in cause it may be).

How I Ended up here [Not necessary to read]:

I am a year university educated male, who's been at the height of life and rock bottom within a decade's span. Ending with a prison sentence. The story in itself is crazier than fiction. But that's neither here nor there.

In prison I began to study magic and due to where I was located there were many African Americans who would see my books and approach me. Their understanding was usually jaded by race or some other factor so ultimately they learned nothing and got no where. (Hebrew Israelites are the people I am referring to). However a chance meeting happened with "THE plug" on the compound. Who was running drugs through the entire compound, sleeping with a CO (decent looking for being locked up) , and wearing a 20k gold necklace in prison! he was the top "BLOOD" on the compound. One day he walked by my cell and saw me reading a voodoo book given to me by my only friend while in there (who we bonded over this subject and who taught me about "root ladies"). He came in, and we talked about it. HE went and got his photo album and showed me pictures of him with <a major well known rapper> who he is signed with in a huge magazine photo together...... with his beads. He told me without saying it directly that it was the root-lady.

From then on I kept his secret. He gave me her number. I drove 4 hours to see her after getting out and saving up, and effects were instant. But I knew they would be. Mind you I worked EXTREMELY hard to get to where I was at that point having to start all over again, but this potentiated the magic. I had seen things with him happen while in prison that defied all probability. He never got caught. He told me the gold necklace he had had spirits in it. I had to know more....

Every person I spoke with at her shop. Every. single. one. Did not just say they got results, they say she changed their lives. She can turn into a wolf ( this is from a huge drug dealer flying in from another state just to see her). I was scared. But intrigued.

Hello, againstthegrain144, and welcome to the Forum.

I'm sure you have been exploring a lot on your own but these are links to general information on Hoodoo to give you a jumping off point:

Hoodoo History:
http://luckymojo.com/hoodoohistory.html

Mojo Hands:
http://luckymojo.com/mojo.html

Oils:
http://luckymojo.com/oils.html

Baths:

Powders:

Incense:

Candles:

Herbs:

Conditions and how we can address them:
http://luckymojo.com/hoodooataglance.html

Here is some info on how the forums are set up. It is divided into four major parts:

1) News and Announcements about the Lucky Mojo Curio Company and this site.

2) Lucky Mojo Spiritual Supplies and how to use them, listed in threads by product type and product title.

3) Life Conditions and Situations, with recommended Lucky Mojo products, spells, and advice.

4) The Online Hoodoo Community, including sites, events, and outreach sponsored by Lucky Mojo.

When you post, it helps your moderators, who are recompensed volunteers, if you post in the area of the board that is best suited to the archival of your question or comment. That way moderators will not have to move your post or merge it into ongoing threads.

If you can't find a post you made, it may have been moved or merged. Go to your profile by clicking on your name and "search recent posts" -- you will find it.

Within each board section there are STICKY threads -- ones that always stay "stuck" to the top. These are popular discussion-threads that you can read and add to if your questions or comments fall into one of these oft-broached topics. If you don't see a "sticky" that relates to your question, feel free to start a new thread in the relevant section.

We do have a few "thou shalt not" rules here, and they can be found in the Forum Rules link at the top of each page.

Most important for newbies are these five common errors to avoid:

1) Please do not come here asking for our formulas for conjure oils or for instructions on how to use spiritual supplies that you bought at a grocery store or at a competitor of ours; this is the Lucky Mojo Forum and is financially supported by the Lucky Mojo Curio Co.

2) Please do not post illegal copies of material from other web sites or from books.

3) Please do not post put-downs of any group of people based on their religion, race, or national origin, including derogatory comments about religions to which you may have previously been an adherent or comments in which you seek to falsely conflate any religion with the practice of evil sorcery.

4) Please do not start new topics; we have thousands of topic-threads already in place.

5) Please do not quote people by using the copy-paste function; it wastes space.
