Following in the wake of Facebook in San Francisco ordering workers to stay home and Sutter Hospital in Santa Rosa placing thirty health-care professionals in quarantine, the Lucky Mojo Curio Co. in Forestville, California, is limiting its transactions to mail-order only. The shop, which is a popular local weekend destination for conjure doctors and occultists from the Bay Area, will continue to accept and fulfill mail-order business via the internet, and workers will be on site, but the public is encouraged to stay at home and order online, as the store will be closed to in-person shoppers for the near future. We regret the inconvenience this will cause our loyal local patrons, but the Covid-19 pandemic is spreading quickly throughout Sonoma County and we believe that this move is in the best interests of all. Thank you for understanding.

Thank you for posting this. I wrote on the FB wall of Lucky Mojo asking if it was opening but this are quite challenging with all the shut downs in NY/CT. Happy I can place my regular order! Stay healthy all !

The shop is not "closed," nor is MISC, but we cannot allow WALK-IN traffic.

Both the LMCCo and MISC are open for ONLINE, WEB SITE, and MAIL ORDER BUSINESS, subject to some delays in shipment.

To All LMCCo, Herb Magic, and MISC Candle Ministry Customers --

As of March 6, 2020 our doors remain open because some of the items we sell are considered essential (cleaning supplies, candles, household goods, medicinal herbs), but if mandated we will close as required.

We have been and will continue to follow all the CDC guidelines to ensure both the safety of our employees and our customers. We are sanitizing and disinfecting all high traffic areas and practicing high levels of self-hygiene by frequent hand washing.

If you have ordered online, please note that we are experiencing a large increase in orders and call volume. Therefore, we are currently unable to ship orders as fast as we usually do, and for that, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

At this time, PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 7 - 14 DAYS FOR SHIPMENT. If this delay is not acceptable to you, please do NOT place your order right now.

It is becoming a challenge for us to replenish our inventory levels at this time, so some items you need may be currently out of stock. Let us know in the "Message Area" field if you will accept a partial shipment, a "split" or 2-part shipment, or if you want us to cancel your order if it cannot be completely filled. Please know that we are working hard, and as fast as we can to replenish inventory, fill orders, and ship them as soon as possible.

If you have been a regular visitor to our store, please be advised:

1. You will NOT be allowed to enter the store, as Sonoma County is under a "Shelter in Place" order from March 18, 2020 through April 7, 2020.

2. If you are local, you may order online and when your order is ready, we will phone you and inform you where your package will be placed in a convenient but hidden area of our property for you to pick up.

3. Please maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from all people you encounter, whenever possible.

4. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place; or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

5. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.

6. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

All of California is now on lockdown due to Coronavirus. We are working from home. At this time, please DO NOT CALL THE SHOP.

Be assured that we are filling orders the best we can, as fast as we can, and shipping packages for as long as we have mail and UPS service -- but we cannot fill orders if we have to stop to answer the phone.

Amazon stopped ordering books from the Lucky Mojo Curio Co. Publishing Company on March 2nd, 2020, along with thousands of other "non-essential" goods. Now they have stopped shipping our books to the public, even those they still have in stock, again along with thousands of other "non-essential goods." You can still order LMCCo, MISC, and YIPPIE books from one of the many great metaphysical bookstores that carry our titles -- or come on over to our own book store and buy directly from us! All books written or edited by me will be signed. We also have many discount specials on books that will save you a buck or more per title.

I ask as my country (Australia) is no longer doing basic air mail, and realised other countries might be doing the same.

Lucky Mojo is still completing mail orders. In fact, apart from curbside pickup for folks who live near the shop, mail order is the only way they can get products to you. I can assure you that they will be well worth the wait!

Hi, I'm sorry if this is not the place to do this. I placed an order on Thursday, but did not receive a confirmation email. I wanted to be sure this was normal and my order went through. My name is Ivory. I also did not see the announcement on the main page, and I am okay with receiving split shipments. Thank you for any help in advance.

Hello, lacherrymoon --

Due to the Coronavirus lockdown, we are running the shop with only 11 employees instead of our usual 15, and some of them are working part-time. We are downloading orders and charging credit cards only 3 days a week at this time. When your card is charged, you will receive a confirmation email -- and we hope to be nearly caught up downloading orders by Monday or Tuesday, after which they will build up again while we make products. Please bear with us through this difficult time. We are all trying our best, and hope to keep safe and also keep the flow of hand-made products going out.

My card was charged Monday, but I didn't receive an email (which is fine, no worries!). I was just wondering if an email was sent when it is shipped? I am sorry I am not so patiently waiting!

I am unsure why you did not receive an email. It is automatically sent by the company that handles the transaction (not by us), so please email the shop -- try order@luckymojo.com for a reply from a person.

If i understand you correctly, you never received your order confirmation email (the one that is auto-generated by Shopsite, the company that operates our shopping cart software) and you also never received a personal reply to an email you sent to our office (order@luckymojo.com).

Based on the email you used to sign up for this forum, i looked up the office email log and saw that email was sent to you. We did not receive a bounce notice, so from our end it seems the mail was delivered.

Because you are apparently not receiving the Shopsite-generated email or our office email, i suggest that you check your own email spam or junkmail filters and be sure that mail from us is getting through.

I also looked up your order, and i found it: Shopsite ID 0121435 and LMCCo Invoice #207141. The order was placed on 4/16/19, the payment was processed on 4/19/20. Of the four items you ordered, three have been made for you (all of our goods are custom-made; there is no factory here) and we are currently making the 4th item, which is a spell kit. All of the parts of it have been made and the kit will be finished by this afternoon and will likely ship tomorrow.
