House passes predator bill

The Florida House of Representatives passed its version of the Jessica
Lunsford Act Tuesday, and the Senate is set to consider its version
today. The House bill was passed unanimously.

The two bills aim to set up tougher penalties and closer monitoring of
sexual predators, including electronic monitoring.

The bills require, for example, a minimum of 25 years to life
imprisonment or life supervision with electronic monitoring for
offenders convicted of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child
under 12 years old.

The problem with life supervision with electronic monitoring, by which I take to mean that the person would wear an ankle device, register their whereabouts, and keep in frequent touch with their parole officer, is that this won't keep the determined from offending again. This type of terrible appetite seems to build in the person, exerting more and more pressure on their psyche until they act again. I don't believe that electronic monitoring will really protect the innocent from bonafide molesters, though it would probably make them easier to be prosecuted post-crime. It's just not enough to monitor them from a distance. Child molesters in particular seem to be incapable of recovery, and as such must be regarded as an ongoing threat - the only question being when, not if, they will harm again.

But there are still cases that need to be looked at individually -
occasionally I truly do believe hostile parents have levelled charges of child molestation at their ex-mates in order to shame and harm them without these charges being true, for instance - I say that because I personally know of one such case - and I also wonder at the wisdom of branding an 18-year old boy as a sexual predator for life because he had sex with his 16 year-old girlfriend and was discovered by a furious parent determined to press charges. Maybe that couldn't happen, I don't know, but it's something to think about if legislation is
to be passed.

I am looking for a working that will bring a sex offender to light. I've already gone the usual routes of reporting it to Family and Children services to no avail.

My goal is justice, however that is meted out. I would also like the parties involved in covering it up to be discomfited and suffer because of it.

I work in a small town for a national retailer....and recently the same crook has robbed two other pharmacies in town. We were visited by the police the other day who asked us to burn our surveillance from a specific time frame to a disk for them to review. They seem to believe that this person has come into our place as well to get the layout.

I would like to be able to do something to help or ensure that this person gets caught. I looked throughout this forum for similar working, and Cat hinted in another thread that is was not common to burn a 7-day candle for this type of work, that it was a more down-home type of working but gave no further information. She advised the individual to ask her question in this section of the forum but I guess she never did, or I can't find it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

PS: I went to the online edition of our newspaper and printed off the composite sketch of the suspect that I can use as a focal point for the working. I have an idea of what I could do from a Wiccan perspective, but I'd like to know how a Hoodoo Practitioner could approach this problem.

Here are three of ways to catch a thief.

TO CATCH A THIEF

1: Salt Boiling Method: Get the names of every person you suspect -- anyone in your family, any neighbors, anyone who dates anyone in your family. Write each name on a small slip of paper, about the size of a Chinese Fortune cookie slip. Boil the name of each potential suspect in salty water, one name at a time, until the water evaporates. The thief will contact you or return to the scene of the crime during the time his or her name is being boiled. If no one contacts you, scrape the salt out and scatter it around the outside of your doors and mailbox for protection from future thefts. The next day, boil another name in salt water the same way. Eventually, when you hit the right name, the thief will return to the scene of the crime or contact you. I have done this and it worked for me.

2. Red Pepper Frying Method: Write each name on a small slip of paper. You will need a small, fresh, whole hot chili pepper or a whole dried chili pepper for each name. You can get these at the grocery store. Slit each pepper, carefully remove the seeds, and insert one name paper in each chili. Heat an iron frying pan with oil and fry the chili pepper seeds in it at low heat. You can use prepared chili oil from the grocery store as your oil, if you can get it. Add the name paper pods and fry them until they blacken and wither, and until they are nothing but charred remains. During this time, be alert that the thief may call or contact you. When all the chilis have turned to black charcoal, scrape them out of the frying pan, pound them up to dust, and scatter the dust around your door and mailbox for protection. The thief will be revealed.

3. Splinter of Wood Method. Take a splinter of wood from the door or window out of which the thief left the premises and place it in the axle of a wagon or car wheel. Turn the wheel backwards (you can put the car on a lift to do this), all the while calling upon the thief to return to the scene of the crime or to return to where he or she will be recognized and captured.

I hope these are of help and i am sure that you will be able to adapt them to your circumstances.

Here are a couple of ways to ward off shoplifters and business rivals with hoodoo-style freezer spells:

TO FREEZE OUT SHOPLIFTERS AND BUSINESS RIVALS

4. To Freeze Out Shoplifters: Get an old, ugly rubbery doll and chop its hands off. Dispose of the rest of the doll in a dumpster, far from your own property. Into each hollow hand insert a paper naming it, "sticky-fingered shoplifters and criminal thieves." Drive a nail through each hand. Make up a mixture of gross sticky things -- Rotten egg yolk, flour, red food colouring, and molasses will do. Coat the hands with the sticky mixture and let it dry a bit. Place the hands, fingers upward in an "i surrender" gesture in a glass jar and pack red chili pods all around, vertically, so the thieves will be caught red-handed. Add War Water and freeze the jar.

5. To Freeze Out Business Rivals: To freeze out business competitors, try writing each one's name on a worn-out dollar bill and freeze it in a block of ice in which you have added a bit of Spanish Moss and Couch grass.

For the first two, since I don't have the suspect's name, could I simply write "the person who robbed [name of businesses]" on the back of the composite sketch in place of a name?

Yes, the splinter of wood method is found in "The Long Lost Friend," which is Pennsylvania German, and it is also found in several in Norse or Scandinavian svartkunstbok (black art book) collections as well.

Someone stole something from me a while ago and I was completely understand of the given situation. He agreed to replace what had been stolen and this person has had more than enough time to replace it or give me the money for it but never did!

Now I want to curse him to make them dread he stole from me and never replaced what he had promised. And finally replace it!

But first I think I need to break a protection spell. I've tried some spells on him before that weren't effective. Later, I had a dream of me casting a spell on him that didn't work because (in my dream) he had a celtic cross over elipsing the sun tattooed on his neck.

You cannot break a "protection" spell. If this guy keeps himself protected, any harmful magic directed at him will bounce off. Since he owes you money, there really is nothing to be protected from. He did you wrong and needs to pay his debt. Of course, I would keep myself protected while working on him though and that would be Firey Wall of protection spells.

Since we are on this subject, someone who is not an adversary at this time, although when I confront her with a lie she told might be upset, owes me money. I recently read about the honey jar for obtaining money owed for child support. I am going to make a honey jar since I want her to want to pay me what she owes me and keep the friendship going. So she will want to pay me back.

I wasn't going to ask about this but using Catherine's method I was going to change the wording of course. If this doesn't bring results, then go to spell kit for sure.

If one already is an enemy who stole, I don't think the honey jar would be as effective, although, if my "friend" doesn't plan on paying me, I consider it a theft.

I just wanted to tell you we 'found' the thief...I decided to pull some cards and they described someone in the querent's household (I haven't met who lives with him so am happy it was a 'hit'). So now I am off to search the site for ways to get back the money....truth be told I am tempted to just 'encourage' them to move since this is not the first time they've done it.

Hello everyone, I have a question. Just today some unknown individual stole my cell phone. I was at a resource center for employment at the social services office. I was speaking to he secratary and placed my celll phone beside me on the container, where she was behind. Sure enough after the conversation was over (which lasted 15 min), I went to reach my phone and it had vanished.

I'm more then hurt, I'm angry. I'm a single mom and I have been struggling for years to get my life together. I went to this place to see if I could get placed in their medical asst program not to be robbed. And to make matters worse, that phone is still being paid on and I had to order another phone and pay on that as well. I don't have the money for this!

That phone had all my info and because we don't have a land line, is my only way of communication. So what I want to know is, how do you punish an unknown theif? I have no idea who this person is, because I don't know anybody there. So if anyone has any suggestions I would be greatful for the help. Also sorry if I posted in the wrong catagory.

Spinkle it with red pepper, black pepper, asafoetida powder, sulphur powder, and vandal root, then fold it up. Dress a black candle with Damnation oil and set it in a metal tray. Is there anything that can be done to a LIAR?

I want them to see how much pain and anger they have caused me. I want them to be exposed on all the lies they have told.

My ex told his new girlfriend that he doesnt own a house with me (#1 lie-cause we have a $$$$ mortgage together) then he told his family that I am not letting him see his daughter (#2 lie cause he KNOWS he can see her but HE choses not to) Then he contiuosly lies to me on what he is doing (I know we are not together, but he makes HUGE excuses and lies, so he doesnt come see his baby-#3) He is known for his lying and I am completely fed up. Plus it sucks for the new girlfriend cause god only knows what he is telling her!

get his name on a paper, preferably his own signature. tear it out so that its not too big. put it upside down in a spiders web, I use the black widow web because its a seeming mish mash with no rhyme or reason (though thats not the case) anyway. Put his namepaper upside down in the spiders web, if the spider is still there ask her to watch over it and tangle him up in his own web of lies and thank her for allowing you to use her home for your purpose. If the spider is not there just "tangle that _____ in his web of lies" call him what you want.
This works.

PS: I also use the widow web because they do not take their webs up everyday, they keep them day after day other spiders like orb weavers take up their webs daily and rebuild nightly I don't think a web like that works for this.

My cousin has had a sentimental item which was bought by her mother (who has now passed on) stolen.

She has put flyers out around the local neighbourhood and is very upset and asked if I could do something to help bring the item back and punish the thief.

Could I ask if anyone knows of any hoodoo spell or trick to bring about the return of the item and punish the thief.

Cursing the thief using Intranquility products and Damnation products (or Crossing or any other jinxing formula) that the thief will not be able to sleep, sit, walk or talk straight until the object is returned. Perform the spell using nine black candles carved 9 times each with "the thief" and dressed with a mix of the formula oils in the room where the item was stolen. Burn the same mixed formula incenses by holding them out through the window while continously cusing the thief for at least three minutes. Or perform the spell by the nearest running water.

1) 4" or 6" -- i prefer the small ones.

2) It does not "have to" be done at a particular time -- but many people do work by timings such as day of the week, Moon sign, Moon phase, hour of the day or night, and so forth. You are welcome to work that way if you choose.

3) If you are doing justified work with no anger and no evil intent, i leave it to you to assess your own mental, spiritual, and physical state at the conclusion of the work, and to cleanse or not according to your own assessment.

Is there a spell or LM products, oils, sachets...............etc. to alert the police, to make the police to arrive at the scene and catch the lawbreakers red handed. it is a money laudering business that is operated very secretly... the best part is a high ranking policeman is running the biz for years... How can the police can even get a hint or start suspecting? I want these people to lose everything that they have earned illegally all their lives.....

What you could do is get a brown candle and law keep away oil, and dress the candle as if you were going to keep the law away form yourself normally. Then cut the top off, dig out the wick from the bottom, and burn it upside down over a petition.

You could do an entangling type spell. Find little things that represent their attitude, their situation, etc etc. For example, a big red angry bead for bullying, a dollar bill soiled with dirt for 'dirty money', an angry face charm for their treats... Tie them all together, or use beads/charms for each thing and string them together on a long string. Then tangle it all up, talking to it as if it were them. "I'm going to tangle you up in your own mess. I'm going to snarl you up so bad you'll never get out of this mess you made!" Then bury the snarly tangly knotty ball on their property if possible. If you can't go on their property to bury it, soak it in war water, then chuck the infused war water over the fence and bury the snarl at a crossroads.

Do some Fiery Wall protection work for yourself and your family.

Not addressing the topic but @ Notdoriangrey: I just wanted to second that i too find you have a very creative approach to spell casting; very customized.
It reminds of the first hermetic principle: as above, so below...and why 'canned spells' may not work sometimes.

working to create our own spells, calls for putting our own thought energy in them, and this colors the entire spell work with our own emotions, and emotions are, i think, the key for effective spell working.

having said that stelselv , u can use notdoriangrey's spell, or use his approach to devise something that corresponds really well with what u want to achieve, and which is within the hoodoo framework: vinegar jars, intranquility spells etc

you all have really gotten me thinking now!!!

Petition Saint Anthony to help find the car, or more specifically to help bring the documents back to you.

Create a doll baby with controlling herbs but make sure to add knotweed to it. If you can't make the doll baby then use a black devil figure candle. Baptize it as "uknown theif," or "devil who stole my daughter's car." Anoint it with Controlling Oil, Do As I Say, and Compelling Oil. Then take the doll and tie it to a wheel that you've stood up horizontal so that the doll dangles. Start to spin the wheel in a counterclockwise format and pray your petition. Call and summon their guardian angel and once you've done that ask that in the Name of God the car and its contents be returned to you. Charge the angel in the name of God to whisper in the theives' ear and to bring their conscience to bear on them.

If you want to get harsh you can work with a cursing doll baby that you singe little by little to torment the theives into returning or making a mistake and getting caught.

A softer option for actually find the car is to get a bunch of Sage and Tobacco. Speak first to the spirit of the Sage and ask it to go and find the theif and where they are located. Burn the sage and let the smoke out of your house. Then right after speak to the spirit of the Tobacco and ask that it lead the cops right to the theives that the Sage has located. Burn the tobacco.

Praying Psalms 55 and 99 will also bring the help you need for this. Good luck.

Last night at work some wretched soul stole my tip jar

. Yes...I am pretty mad. I wouldn't really say "pissed" cuz I continually empty my tip jars throughout the night

. So the wretch only got me for $20-$30...but still that's my $$$.

My boss was mortified

when I told him, and instructed the head of security to make a bouncer a permanent fixture at my bar...instead of roaming (some bouncers have fixed points...others roam through the crowds). Then he immediately cued up the video, but we couldn't make out a face.

I get a little nervous

when doing negative work, because I fear it might come back on me x3...and life is pretty damn good right now. Really good health, daughter is great, incredible love life, school is moving along, I'm finally back among the world of the employed....I DO NOT want to jeopardize any of that over $20-$30...but I want the thief to encounter consequences for his actions. Seems only fair.

So Lucky Mojo family...I am asking for input and suggestions on what to do.

I neither know what the thief looks like, nor do I have any personal concerns. I am wondering if I should do something like a doll baby/poppet on this person...

OR

Should I trust that the universe will handle it...and keep my focus on the positive and do something that will protect me from having this happen again by protecting or blessing my work, around my bar, my tip jars and future tips?

I am always at the same bar...by myself, right next to the dance floor...in the thick of 1200-1500 sweaty, gyrating bodies. LOVE IT. The energy is AMAZING...otherwise I wouldn't still be bartending after 22 years.

Maybe dust the jar with a focus to harm anyone who steals from it, since most theives like to hit the same places repetitively.

Doll baby is not the way to go here. You want a one hit wonder kind of a spell. I'd suggest a black candle dressed with some of the more destructive oils. You pick. Dress it, burn it atop a petition that the thief receive their just desserts. Then cleanse yourself and let it go. With a doll baby, you're going to be constantly putting effort into punishing this person. It's not worth it. Smack 'em magically and let it go.

You may also want to dress your tip jars with Protection Oil.

You are in a position where this can unfortunately can happen again.

You do want to protect yourself and your money. I believe that protection work should always be ongoing. I'm inclined to work with St. Michael but there are other Hoodoo formulas that also work such as protection oil that NDG recommends or the Fiery Wall of protection. Perhaps you may want to check out the LM mojo bags?

Also you are not doing "negative work" for defending yourself. I understand your "3x" payback mentality but when you studying hoodoo more in depth, you'll see that Karma and the wiccan x3 are not concepts found in Hoodoo. Hoodoo does believe in just causes. I think making sure people don't steal from you as just.

Thanks y'all,

I picked up new tip jars today, and will dress/anoint them with LM Fiery Wall of Protection Oil. It's been a crazy day, and I think that at the moment that's all I have energy for, and it will get me through the weekend. After thinking a little more...I agree that a poppet or doll baby would require constant energy, which is more than I want to dedicate to this person.

ablake...thanks for clarifying the negative aspect. You are right, I would be defending myself...and my action is just. I wasn't aware that the x3 was Wiccan...I don't know much about it (Wicca). It's one of "those sayings" that is always in my thoughts. Maybe, if the rest of this weekend is stellar financially, I can enroll in the Correspondence Course. If not, I 'm just waiting on my taxes and I believe I will be all set to embark on that journey.

NDG & chy clayton...thanks for your input too. All of your advice is helping me decide what to do....

Tomorrow I will have time to sit and really focus some energy, today...I am just trying to make it until 3:30am. I'm pooped!

For some reason, my intuition is saying Reversing work would be great here. Reversing work would be good here because you are essentially reversing what this person did to you, which is not creating any more harm than how they harmed you. You can simply get a reversible candle (vigil glass candle), and ask that this person negativity, and stealing ways gets reversed back to them. May they suffer as they have made you suffer.

In addition, I agree with the protection work, and you might even want to ask St. Michael to help keep you protected in addition, to helping strike down the person that harmed you since he is the patron of law enforcement as such. But I think reversing work would be great, and then just let it go like NDG said. But on the flip side you could do some money stay with me work, and perhaps more work to generate tips. Cleo may and jezebel products are GREAT for getting more tips (and yes it is for prostitutes lol but nowadays women use it to get tips) this works great for a friend of mind who is a bartender.

Of course, you could do magick to prevent more thefts. But I personally am hesitant to do any sort of negative work, even if it is justified. I have done some negative work in the past, and in my experience some of it seemed to come back on me.

I believe that we should not avenge ourselves, as vengeance is the Lord's and He will repay on the day of judgment. As it says in the Bible, we reap what we sow. Anyways, this is all just my opinion, but I think you should just forgive and move on.

i'd be more inclined to curse the money he stole..... then again it depends on how wretched this poor soul is, is it really so bad for him in life that he has to steal, or is he just a git who enjoys the thrill (or makes him feel like a big man)? do a card spread to see his situation. if he's not poor and in the pit of the world, you can go ahead with some kind of spell

Why would you curse the money? It wasn't the money's fault. That cursed money is going to pass through a lot of hands, and you don't want some poor kid ending up with a pocketful of curses for lunch money. It doesn't make sense to do that.

Punish the thief.

As to negative work coming back... That's not a Hoodoo concept. If your cause is just and you cleanse appropriately, you're fine. Karma/Threefold law etc. have no bearing in Hoodoo whatsoever.

I have a longtime boyfriend who has a real problem with drugs. Consequently he spends a lot of time in jail. He always says he will get help and change but when he gets out, he goes back to stealing and doing the same thing.

I have stuck by him for years because we have a son together, but now I am tired of it.I want me and my son to have a better life.

My problem is:He is threatening to steal my son and run away.I am constantly on edge and worrying.

He is due in court again very soon for more charges,and this time he could spend a few years. He always seems to weasel his way out of doing much time. Considering that he is a multiple offender (he's been in there on theft, burglary, and fraud many times) one would think that he would spend more time than just a few months, but somehow he seems to get out early.

I need him to stay in jail this time and stay away from us for a good while.

What can I do to see that he pays the full consequences for his crimes?

I would petition to St. Michael. Since he is a patron of the law ...he is great at keep people in jail.

But what I would do is make a baby doll, and stuff it with knot weed, barberry and devils shoe string. Then I would bind his arms, and legs, and toss him in the river or you can bury him at the grave of a police officer.

Also, you can consider doing a freezer jar as well, and keep him in the freezer as long as you want him to go to jail.
