How To Protect Name Signature Birthdate Photo Hair Against Spells or Theft of Your Luck

Unread post by purplewakingpeople » Fri Jan 01, 2010 1:26 pm

Hi all,
I am looking for any input on a spell to protect me from a person who has my birth date and time. He doesn't seem to be helping me on the spiritual plane so I thought it best to put up the walls. Any ideas would be helpful

Hello everyone,

A very vain topic, but so important to me. I used to have really nice hair. For years now it's been very thin (scalp showing), brittle and not wanting to grow much. It used to be shiny, healthy and growing pretty much like a weed.

Before we start talking vitamins, lotions and such... I've no vitamin shortage, hormonal imbalance and have been to several specialists, tried just about everything that's out on the market.

My reason for posting this here is because I've felt for years now that my (adopted) cousin has jinxed (cursed?) it/me. Long story short: we used to be very close growing up, even though she could be quite envious and hateful. I loved her very much. Then all of a sudden she completely turned on me. We didn't talk or hang out anymore and she would tell lies behind my back to make people hate me. After nearly 10 years I did end up talking to her and it turned out that she was insecure around me (in a nut shell: I'm beautiful and she's not). All of which were her own insecurities and she did acknowledge that. Still, I've cut her out of my life.

Please forgive me, since I don't mean to offend anyone, but this might be important to understand the background: she has African short, thin, brittle hair that won't grow much and she's always hated it. She's been wearing weaves since they hit the market.
I recall one day, a few years before we talked on the phone that she looked at my hair and made a remark about it (it looked gorgeous, but she didn't pay a compliment, it was a comment, but I felt the envy). Shortly after that I started losing my hair. Then a few years later, my sister ran into her. She made a comment about my sister's beautiful hair, reaching out to touch it. My sister in that moment had such a terrible feeling that she pulled away from her, not allowing her to touch her hair. I saw that as a confirmation, but still nothing I could do about it.

Now my question: how do I find out if there's any truth to my theory? What can I do to fix this? I've tried everything I could think of myself, but nothing's given me an answer or solution.

Thanks in advance.

Gelfling, there is nothing odd about your story, and it does not offend. The same kind of female jealousy over hair, leading to curses of envy, including curses by touching and curses by the evil (envious) eye, are found in my own Sicilian family. It is one reason that many Sicilian women of my grandmother's and great grandmother's generations wore bandanna-style head scarfs when they went to market -- so that no one could see or comment on their hair and thereby curse it.

Normally, i would say that a client would need a reading to confirm the question of whether a curse was cast by a remote means such as doll magic, or mal occhio (the evil eye) was given, or a curse by touching the hair was made -- but i think you already know it happened, and how, and why, and by whom. So save the reading money and accept this as confirmation that i, at least, believe you and agree with your disagnosis and your identification of the culprit.

The hard thing is that once a curse like this starts to working, it actually affects your body's physical systems. In the same way that a curse on a man to have a heart attack will actually give him real heart disease, so will a curse for brittle, thinning hair actually give you brittle, thinning hair. Maybe there are underlying genetic tendencies toward this in your family, maybe not, but even genetics can only show tendencies, and it takes an event or a "something" to turn the genes on and off -- and there you are: that something was a curse, or envy.

Unfortunately, i know of no magical means to make your hair grow thicker and less brittle. You already know all about good scalp care, how to use oils and conditioners to keep the hair from drying out and breaking, and which methods of hairdressing are easier on the roots and cause less damage to the hairs themselves.

I can tell you that it is traditional both in Sicilian American and African American culture to use rosemary herb tea in the shampoo and/or rinse water (instead of plain tap water) to aid the scalp, and that oil treatments based around herbs (Like Hot Six Oil, to name one brand) are often helpful. You probably have already heard advice to use only natural products -- stop using anything that has chemical names in it, and i agree with that advice 100%. But, sadly, once the follicles wither, it is almost impossible to grow them back.

Good luck to you, and if you have to wear a weave, wear it with pride -- because when you like what you see in the mirror, you'll know that although your enemy may have won the battle, she has lost the war -- you still look good and feel good, and that's what she lacks.

Thank you so much for taking time to respond to my post. I guess I'll have to continue to not let it bother me (as much) and work with what's left. Thought there might be a way to 'send it back to her' or break the curse... I'm taking all your advice to heart. Thanks once more!

Hello my dear Lucky Mojo family!

I have gotten into a somewhat sticky situation and need everyone's advice. I am a stage performer, very popular within a somewhat closed yet very large community. I rarely market my talent outside of that community, because they are very conservative and have very specific cultural demands. Maintaining a certain image is a capstone of success at my job.

A few days ago, my lookalike went on national television under my name and made a complete fool of herself in front of millions of people. As it turns out, not only does she look like me and shares my name, she also tries to market herself under a very similar stage alias and branch out into the same business that I am in.

Long story short, I just want to avoid negative attention and remain in business. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this situation? I don't want to hurt the girl; she's clearly delusional and wants any attention she can get. I don't want to be confused with her.

Thank you for reading this.

Lily,

Do a thorough home, business, and personal cleansing, then establish protection. If you still feel connected to her, perform the tie-cutting spell here:

BREAKING A MAGICAL BOND WITH ANOTHER PERSON
http://www.luckymojo.com/spells/black/a ... pells.html

This thread is actually about protection, not bond-breaking, and the specific protection is "How To Protect Name Signature Birthdate Photo Hair Against Spells or Theft of Your Luck" -- so i am going to jump in here with some easy favourite methods of mine to protect your photo from being used in a spell by an enemy:

1) When you take a photo, take it in front of a surface which you have dressed with Reversing Oil so that the image will reflect back the gazes of hostile people to themselves.

2) Wear Reversing Oil when you take the photo.

3) Take a selfie by shooting a picture of yourself in a mirror. You will appear backwards. Be very careful not to wear clothing with words or identifiable logos -- if the enemy sees that the image is reversed, it will be easy to copy it and de-reverse it. Make this method stronger by dressing the corners and center of the mirror itself with Reversing Oil in a five-spot pattern.

4) Wear clothing for the photo shoot that is reflective or glittery. Sequins and mirror-like surfaces send back the evil eye.

5) Go all out and wear anti evil eye jewelry, such as a red bendel thread bracelet, blue evil eye charms, a hamsa hand pendant, or a piece of black tourmaline as a pendant. Clever enemies familiar with magic will recognize what you are doing, but the picture will be worthless to them to use against you

Good luck

When you feel that someone is attaching you ariela, I recommend Fiery Wall of Protection (http://www.luckymojo.com/fierywall.html)...as the caption says, ...it is the best answer to malicious spells directed against you and your loved ones -- and it also puts up a powerful shield against gossiping co-workers or jealous rivals. It is not intended to create harm, only to give protection, thus it is safely used by folks who want to keep their 'karma' pure."

Uncrossing and Fiery Wall of Protection should prevent most work aimed at you. A 13-herb bath is a good idea also.

I saw her at a party she hosted and I did not wanted to go, but my family did. So I went. I was there and she was ignoring me, which that was expected. Well she left with some of her friends and came back, then she came behind me and touched my hair and said that I looked pretty.

last night I had a terrible on going nightmares.

The first one, I was looking for a job and I had to be cautious because some of the doors did not have stairs, if I had not been cautious I could have fell. Then I saw myself coming to a despair home. No one was there,. I was confused in my head and I could barely see, I was in my kitchen and I was looking out towards the backyard, and I came to see like a cross and I also saw like a image of a square in the grass, it kinda look like someone was buried there. Then I got the creeps and had to leave my house fast, I ran out of the door confused not knowing what was going on, and as I was closing the door I saw my old friend ( a guy) all beat up, so I left scared. My car would not turned on, so I asked him where was my husband, he said he had left me a long time ago, and I asked for my kid, and his response was that my kid was blank, I asked what do you mean "Blank" and he said BLANK, I asked is she dead, and he said yes for a while now, and i woke up. That was scary!

I had more upcoming nightmares but I cannot remember all of them.

Could this be a sign that this Frienemy wants to destroy me and my family?

Thanks :/

It's quite possible that your frienemy had a powder or oil on her hands that, when she touched you, affected you by this nightmare.

To be sure, you need to get a reading from an AIRR reader. In the meantime you can take an Uncrossing bath and make sure you cleanse your head good, then cleanse your house and lay down some protection work. Another tip: if you have Chinese Wash, wash your bedsheets with a capful of that in addition to your detergent; it's a trick I learned from the lovely Dr. Porterfield a couple years ago when I got astrally attacked by an enemy in my sleep.

Good luck,

IF I have been affected by her, do I need to cleanse my house all over again, i just spiritual cleaned my house two weeks ago.

I currently have the following as protection :
Mirrors facing out of my house
Camphor blocks in every corner of my house
A crossed broom by the front door and back door tha I place every night.
Under my bed i have : A bible open with scissor on top
A water with an egg that I change every 9 days.

I also carry an evil eye bracelet.

What other protection should I consider putting?

Thanks MaryBee!

I don't know if it's appropriate to ask this question, if not please forgive me. If you have mirrors facing out of your house, doesn't that repel both good and bad things? Or is it fixed in such a way it only repels bad things?

You can add Chinese wash to your shampoo, or you can dissolve some Uncrossing or VanVan Bath Crystals in water and add some to the shampoo and shake it up really well.

Spiritual cleansing of the home and self aren't things that are done just once and then you're all set. Even if you cleansed the place 2 weeks ago, if someone laid a mess on your house yesterday then you may have to spiritually cleanse again. It's just like if you ate a really good meal 2 weeks ago, but you still eat the next time you get hungry :)

To know for sure if your house needs cleansing, get a quick 10 minute reading from an AIRR rootworker to see.

And the mirror thing: yes, you can consecrate mirrors to repel evil from you or you can use them to draw good things to you. I have a little car mirror on my wall, facing out towards the front door where it opens into a hallway (I live in an apartment complex). I dress it regularly with Protection oil or Reversing oil and tell it to bounce back any evil eye or bad stuff that may try to enter my home.

Good luck,
Mary Bee

I put Chinese Wash in the laundry as well! Now I'll try the shampoo suggestion. I DID put some Chinese Wash into kitty's bath water on Saturday (he has fleas) and he was just as good as gold. He smells so nice too. And I think the fleas may not like it (hey, citronella repels mosquitoes...so who knows?)

Rookie, good luck with everything, from what I see, you seem to be taking lots of the steps I've been recommended (mirrors, camphor, water and an egg under the bed). Let us know what happens!

I have a somewhat public job -- I autograph things, I sign a lot of contracts, I sign photographs, basically I sign like hundreds of things a year for total strangers. No choice but to do this if I want to keep my job, and no option to change my name or do anything too fancy in the signature. I could possibly do a small sigil/symbol type thing, if anyone thinks that might help.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I might protect myself (or protect the signatures, depending on how you look at it) from possible use as personal concerns? I haven't had any problems yet, but I'm concerned. I feel OK about dealing with work on a case by case basis if/when it comes up, but of course I'd rather not get to that point--I'd rather stay protected to being with.

Thank you!

This sounds like a tricky situation. Perhaps doing a Fiery Wall of Protection spell for yourself will help. Or perhaps you should contact a Rootworker to do a spell to make your name unusuable as personal concerns by others.

A spell like that is exactly what I has hoping for! Something to make my signature unusable as a personal concern. If anyone knows one, I'd be grateful (nothing against hiring someone, but I like to do my own work whenever possible -- even if I fail I learn something.) If not I'll give the FP a try, good idea. Thank you!

The answer is simple, enchant the pen you use.

On a Sunday draw a cross on the altar with a mix of Reversing and Fiery Wall of Protection or Protection sachet powders. Set a small white candle dressed with Protection/Fiery Wall of Protection oils at each of the four points. In the middle of the cross set an incense pot. Set a mix of Agrimony herb and either Protection or Fiery Wall of Protection incenses powders to burn in it. Hold the pen in the smoke and call out your prayer that no signature of yours made with this pen can be used against you, that any magic sent at you that way is stopped up and reversed. Pray your favorite verse or psalm of protection as well. Then take some of the same oils you used to dress the candles and lightly dress the inside of the pen. That is to say, take the pen apart and lightly dress the ink cartridge with the oil, then put it back in the pen.

Use that pen only for writing your signature. When it runs dry either throw it into the crossroads or, if its a nice pen, replace the ink cartage and repeat the spell.

I can see this being used in a number of ways. An artist's fixed pens, brushes, ect. Money drawing, general attraction, steady work, or whatever is needed at the time. Especially cool spell Turnsteel. Really portable. I draw on the spot and it can be difficult to put herbs, oils, and curios in an ink drawing. A painting is a different story. Thanks for this one. My head is spinning a bit with the possibilities.

That is extremely cool, thanks so much --that's a great idea, and I will use it whenever possible (and like everyone else here my head is spinning with a million cool possible variations--adding money drawing oil to a contract-signing pen, for example).

I'm still hoping to find spell that offers blanket protection from my signature (and photos, which I didn't mention before, and should have, and all other personal concerns) from being used in spellwork. Maybe FWP is my best bet. I was hoping to find a specific spell for this purpose. Thank you!

Enchant ALL THE PENS ON YOUR DESK. If you can do so without being noticed, just take them home with you, a fistful at a time, to work the spell Turnsteel posted above. (If they're disposable stick pens, like Bic or Write Bros., you won't be able to take them apart; just dress the outside with a tiny quantity of the oil.) You can keep the work going by dressing your hands with FWP at work and praying over all your pens.

Hope this helps,

The enchanting of the pens is a great idea.

If you are looking to do a spell to remove the power of your name is another thing altogether. You should have a consultation with a rootworker on this. A spell to not only render your signature useless to others, but also any attempt to use your name in a spell. You might even go to the length of "disenchanting" all your personal concerns by use of others. A very powerful form of protection.

Thanks so much Apollo. Now that I think about it, I realize that's exactly what I want/need -- a spell to make all my personal concerns unusable.

Maybe I'll try a protection or FWP spell on my actual signature to protect the hundreds that are already out there, and protect future ones. (Enchanted pen sounds great, but I already have hundreds of signatures out there). Thanks for the good idea. Now that I think about it, maybe I'll set up a whole little protection mini-altar with my signature, press stuff, etc. (and could load up my pens there too).

And as for photos -- I've seen other folks ask here about how to protect their photos, but I've never seen an answer--so maybe there is no way to do so? I could cast spells on the pictures I put out myself, but how to protect pictures others take (again, that's part of my job, or I would never allow it)??

Maybe just improvise a spell for protecting photos? Anyone ever try anything like that? ANyone know how famous people deal with this?

Probably I'll end up needing to consult a rootworker as you advise but it's more fun to try to figure it out myself. Thanks again!

curiousity,

Sounds like you have a good idea where to start. A Consultation is also a great idea for that extra help. An altar specifically for your protection is probably the best bet. There a number of things that pop into my mind that can be done for this, such as a loaded picture of yourself put into a frame. The old Picture Frame spell that was taught to me by Miss cat.

I like this post! I think the advice given above is great too! I would consider doing a "signature stamp". They have to have an original to make the stamp. You can "smoke the signature". I like The Firey Wall of Protection. Check into everything protective.
Also, if you look at my picture on the Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour, you can actuallly see Spirit. Look inside the black background. There are magical workings, and prayers that were done to that photo which is why I do not mind that it is out there.
I will not reveal what I did. I can't but you are on the right track :)!

Be Blessed!

Miss Cat,

Can a person can "steal your luck" just by touching your hair? Is this common?

I have a family member who I believe may have had their luck stolen by jealous people ... and I remember them talking about how people would come up and touch, braid their hair etc. (at school).

Could more have been going on than just "doing hair", or admiring hair?

MoonBreath --

Oh yes, this is common. I have had many calls over the years from people who told me of going to the casino and they were winning at the slots -- or they were winning at bingo -- and somebody they knew came up and kinda half-hugged them and touched their hair like to smooth it out and said, "Ooh, you're winning good!" -- and then all their luck was drained away and the other lady had caught their luck.

There are two ways to counteract this -- mix a little bit of Protection Oil in your hair products before you use them or wear a touch of Jinx Killer Oil in your hair.

And there's another way too -- and this is old, down-home, for-real rootwork, from the old days -- take a red-headed kitchen match (not a blue-headed one because the old women always said, "a red-headed kitchen match" and don't ask me why, 'cause i don't know why, except unless that red is a lucky colour) and draw an X at the back of your head -- at the mould of your head -- with the head of the match, and then stick the match up over the door jamb lintel indoors, like over your inside living room door, while you are out playing. They can't steal your luck by touching your hair then, because you have your luck in that match and that match is hidden, is what they said. When you get home, you light the match, sniff the smoke just once, and blow it out. This is a one-night thing, not a forever thing -- it's just for protecting from getting your luck stolen by touching your hair when you go out for the evening to play.

And of course burn your hairs when you brush them out or cut them.

Wow! The more I learn on this forum, the more I am amazed ... I have been going through life with no idea of what was going on around me. I assume the thief KNOWS they are taking the victim's luck with full knowledge and wicked intent? Is the luck stolen via touch only? Does the luck leave the victim only through their hair?

I have started burning our hair when I clean out the hair brushes after being on this forum a while. Now I will also be wary of anyone who comes up wanting to touch my hair. Hair seems to be very important and a common way to break through a person's defenses to harm them. Like I said before ... I continue to be amazed the more I learn here. Thank you so much for the info Miss Cat!

Oh yes, if they've taken your luck already, how do you get it back?

Hi MoonBreath,

if you want to make sure that your hair keeps from being used in conjure against you, you can also make an herbal vinegar rince that you use after you wash your hair. Steep apple-cider vinegar with nettle and agrimony and then mix the vinegar half and half with some spring water. Pour a cup over your hair after washing and not only will it reverse/uncross anything put on the hair, it will also leave your hair tangle-free and shiny.

Aura, thank you for the herbal rinse recipe. That will be nice to have on hand! :D The rinse, and the things Miss Cat told about concern how to "prevent" hair from being used ... but what about hair that has already been taken or poached for luck? Would an uncrossing bath break the link a person had to you? What about your personal concerns that are already out there being used against you? If someone stole your luck ... was it only your luck that particular day, or all your luck? How would you get back stolen luck ... ? If it is just gone forever, would your only option be to make more luck for yourself??? Like with Fast Luck products or something like that? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to play "catch-up" here.

... i had a former "friend" who liked to touch my hair in an aggressive way, out of envy. this "pal" would gossip about me, my relationship ( she doesnt have one), etc. passive aggressively "caring" to cover envy. thanks for the advice on hair protection aura and cat.

Though I am intrigued by the hoodoo around hair. (Link?) And rethinking my own grooming regimen. :)

I suppose you could also put Fiery Wall of Protection oil in your hair. I used to work in a casino, and there are a lot of annoying, nosey (and often drunk) people that like to hang out there and bother other people.

If I see the person who touched my hair with ill intent, will touching their
hair bring back my luck? What about someone I love touching my hair, is that safe/ok?

Hello, Magiciciannes,
I don't know if the person who touched your hair had touched you to bring you bad intentions. There's a webpage on this. Check it out to see if it will help you: http://www.luckymojo.com/evileye.html
And, I doubt that touching their hair will bring good luck to you. Again, you can get more information from that page.
Although you love a person, if this person touched your hair (and that person loves you too, I don't see where there would be harm
You can always use Fiery Wall of Protection to protect you from any future encounters that you many question. Try this webpage: http://www.luckymojo.com/fierywallofprotection.html
I hope this helps.
Wishing you the very best. Take care

Hi kamara1984,

You can protect your name, pic, birthday from harm.

There are many many books that can teach you how to protect yourself.
go to:
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatbooks.html

The books I like are:
"Psychic Self-Defense" by Dion Fortune
"Bodyguards: Protective Amulets" by Desmond Morris
"Amulets: Sacred Charms of Power" by Sheila Paine
"Amulets and Talismans for beginners" by Richard Webster

Cleansing yourself and your home is vital for protection.
http://www.luckymojo.com/chinesewash.html

It is best to read and study about protection to figure out which is best for you.

Many practitioners use a sigil after signing their name for protection.

I'm sure that others will also have advice for this.

Blessings,

thanks for good advice guys,
i still need more contributions/advice/suggestions/opinions on this topic "theme'

i read tried to read a lot of RITUALS/SPELLS/WICCA books, but the main problems they'r all discussing general protection (physical and psychological)'
but they forget that, without somebody "real/full name or birth of date or photo /picture "you cant perform nay spells,
so i was thing to write a book about protections on names, picture, birthday ,
but the question is "how you can seal/protect somebody to be witched by hiding their name/picture/bday under something"

Hello, kamara1984,
I would have to disagree with your statement about the real full name, birthdate, etc. The spells would still work but, they would be weaker.
There's ways of getting around this.
As far as your last question, again, you would have to read the books that were suggested to you.
Take the time to browse the forum and lucky mojo webpages on protection. And on spell casting.
There's lots of information to be found
Take care

There are such wonderful ideas here. I'm learning so much and I thank you all. I just had another idea, in addition to enchanting the actual pen you use. To give it a little more bang maybe, you could write out a petition for the pen (and write it with the actual pen), then 5-spot the petition with the appropriate protective oil and finish by either rolling or folding the petition around the ink cartridge and reinserting it. Just another idea, but I would love to hear what others think about it.

This may be a little awkward for folks who sign papers where others can see. But I work from home, so no document I sign leaves the house without a light dusting of Fiery Wall of Protection powder.

Hope this helps,

Hey Everyone,

I created a pen like the one I mentioned above to see how it would work and thought I would update you. I did not create it for protection, however. I created it to strongly influence everything I used it for with Road Opening, Fast Luck, and Crown of Success. First, I wrote out my petition using the pen I was going to enchant, 5-spotted it with said oils and inserted it to the pen. I also rubbed a tiny bit of oils on the cartridge itself, while praying. I had to kind of fold the petition around the cartridge to make it fit properly, but I felt good about it. I then anointed 3 small candles with the oils and arranged them in a triangle shape around the pen. I prayed my petition again as I lit the candles and let them burn down. I feel like it's working quite well. I use the magical pen for all of the petitions I write to give a little oomph. I have also used it to fill out some medical forms, which have so far turned out favorably for me. ;) If you are interested in this type of work I encourage you to give it a try. It seems there are a great many possibilities. Thanks again for everyone's ideas and expertise!

Hello, Genies_Lamp,

GREAT ideas!!

Have you looked at this page? www.luckymojo.com/inks.html

Now I want to try something: use ink mixed with whatever oil I want to use.

Then, get a quill to write out whatever it is that I am writing. www.luckymojo.com/featherquills.html

I am also thinking that those old fashioned pens would work (the kind that you add the ink to).

Now, you've got me thinking!!

Thanks for the ideas and the motivation!!

I have something that I need help with in which the situation is kind of similar to the topic . When I was younger I went to my cousins house for vacation. My cousins wife had stole my shoe and did magic with it to steal my good luck and to give herself good luck . Is there anything I can Do to bring back my blessings and remove what she did and stop it. This was something that happened to me years ago when I was a kid and I just did a reading that revealed me this information. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it thanks!

Hi Lovingprincess,

I would recommend the 13 day herb bath, bag size. You would need to do this for 13 days. Also, you will need to have a Vigil to draw in your good luck while you are bathing.

Lovingprincess, if it was a long time ago, Ms Melanie is right, you will need a course of bathing. If it only just happened, you could have worked with the shoe to undo the trick.
