I swear there is Evil Eye Training for Management sometimes. (EETM meetings, complete with evil bagels in the morning and venomous catch-phrases). It's the controlling people who can't let go of thinking about work or the given "thorn in their side" which unfortunately has been me before too.

Sometimes it is inadvertant psychic attack, when it happens that way. There was one point during my relative experience that I could tell when my boss had arrived at work, whether I was in the building or not. I get psychic impressions, and she was sending so much negativity my way I could feel it when she got into work and starting thinking about me. I started keeping track of when I felt it so I could compare to her arrival times.

I started wearing one of the little evil eye glass pendants you can fill with oil and I filled it with amber oil. It was successful.

A psychic told me how to protect against psychic attacks, by completely burning out a black candle, writing the name of the girl that tolled my man away from me on it. She told me to write the name of the girl who sent the attack and light the black candle and say this:

This is a very simple crossing spell of reversal, with an added love return spell, although the mention of "three times" and the last line of "So mote it be!!!" identify this as new-age, most likely Wiccan. This forum is for the discussion of Hoodoo in general, and Lucky Mojo products in specific, but such work, without the Wiccan ending, are common in hoodoo.

You can certainly do it, to reverse the psychic attack, but when it comes to your lover returning, if this is the same man as in your other post, most likely too much time has passed for it to be very effective. In spellwork, there is never a guarantee of anything, sorry.

I can see by the ending of that spell, "So Mote It Be", that this is in all likelihood meant to be some type of "wiccan/witchcraft/witch" spell, or more specifically not a Hoodoo Spell. These forums are for hoodoo spellwork, but that ending does not make the spell wrng, just different. Usually a hoodoo spell would call upon the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit or would simply end with an Amen.

The spell is in several parts, namely (1) reversal of evil, (2) breakup and dismissal of the rival, (3) return of the lover, and (4) protection from further psychic attacks.

Lucky Mojo offers a number of traditional products for these goals. They go by names like Reversing, Break-Up, and Reconciliation. In addition, to stop such attacks from happening again, there are spells of Protection.

What I can tell you, is that in my experience, a single black candle spell is not likely to be effective in such a complex situation as a series of reversing, break up, reconciliation, and protection spells.

(Please note for the record, I don't see many Wiccans suggesting break up work to begin with, as its seems to be against their creed. In which case, I can't not speak for where this spell came from, but its not in any tradition I'm familiar with, except possibly online gaming.)

I agree with what Lara has said and I would add that the intention of the spell seems a little muddled to me.

Parts of it (your future will be black and smoky) sounds like revenge work and other parts of it, (may this return upon you three times three) sounds like reversing work. They really are quite different, so on top of the likelihood that a single candle spell won't get the job done, I would add a question of what exactly the spell is trying to do.

Are you trying to break them up, make the man stealer's life hellish, or just send back to her/them any negativity or psychic attacks they have brought into your life?

Your magic will be much more effective once you have decided on an approach and set your intention on it.

Hi, I have a problem.

Let me start by saying that my friend is being attacked by black magic but fortunately someone is shielding her from it.

Hovever, ever since she told me about it, I have been sensing that someone has been observing me and when I turn to look there is no one there.

I used my pendulum yesterday and asked if a witch had been observing me and it said yes. About an hour later, I sensed that someone was observing me again so I pulled out my pendulum and started asking if there was a witch looking at me and it said yes. I started to ask the witch some questions through the pendulum and she actually responded.I think she is astrally traveling.

What should I do?

How do I Keep her from observing me?

Fiery Wall of Protection can be used around your home to keep out whoever it is. Pray for protection as you put it on the doors and windows, or around your room, especially the bed. Psalms 91 is often recited for this purpose.

If you can find the name and a personal concern of whoever is spying on you, you could make a up a poppet on them and blind fold it while asking that you be shielded from their sight.

Also I have heard of people using Run Devil Run products to drive off spirits that have been pestering them. She may not necessarily be astral traveling. She could also be clairvoyantly probing you. You can put "white light" shield around your home and yourself. This should last about day so you need re-do it every once and awhile.

A "white light shield" is a term of art that derives from American and European Wicca, Neo-Pagan, and New Age practices and could generally be said to be a form of visualization magic. That is true; the curios and herbs we use have power (sometimes in multiple fields) unto themselves.

okay for a long time now ive been noticing that whenever i would get a small amount of luck say scratch a ticket and win or land a better job, just general luck, there is someone in my family, yes i said it family, that steals it away, yes steals it away.

That is too broad of a question for me to reply to, since envy is a human emotion. If I feel envy or jealousy, then I take a good strong look at why I am envious or jealous, There must be something about the person I am envious of that I admire. Envy and jealousy are actually forms of admiration.

I envied a guy who got a book deal recently. The guy seriously sucks as a writer, but he got a two book deal. I looked at exactly what he did to get the deal and I realized that I had made choices that took me of that tract. I chose to pursue an academic career and that has responsibilities that go with it, but this summer I am going to spend my time writing and networking. I no longer envy him, because I have a plan for myself.

So my advice to you would be to ask yourself why you are envious of this person. What does this person have that you envy? Once you get to the heart of that question, you can find a way to relieve yourself of the envy.

I would burn a white candle with some KIng Solomon wisdom oil for this.

well the famous question that i think that should be answered by everyone on this forum and is very important. Lets say I do some magical work on someone and that person throws the work back. Lets say that person is knowledgeable in the magical sense and i do some work on them and they throw the work back what would one person do then.

Well if you get your work reversed back on you I for one would,one:I would do a 13 herb bath with uncrossing work to take it all of me and two: think long and hard on whether I should have crossed them up in the first place. Then Fiery Wall of Protection and other work to keep myself safe from anything they may throw my way.

A. You should know against who you are working before you start.

B. I would never use regular and easy to do spells on another person that knows magic.

C. You should do a reading before you decide to cast a spell to see what might become of it.[

That is why you keep yourself clean and protected! If you have been keeping yourself clean and protected, you won't get anything nasty on you.

Also, don't work on people for no apparent reason. You may think it is a great reason, but it is it really? I know many who pick fights with no cause and that is their own fault if they get it back.

Keep yourself clean and your nose clean.

I agree with everyone else. Dont bring a knife to a gun fight. Just because you think you are really strong there is always someone else stronger when your doing spells and rituals. Never pick a fight with an experienced practitioner because you will regret it later, and you never know who that person knows. No one would every guess I am into this stuff, but I have a few friends that could do some damage to someone that even tried to mess with me. Just choose your battles wisely.

People don't "throw back" positive magic, but they often try to reverse negative magic. This means that anyone who is doing a cursing, crossing, breakup, binding, or harming spell needs to be aware of the risk of having the entire thing reversed right back at you. I am not saying it always happens -- but it is a distinct possibility.

has anyone heard of a practice in hoodoo called "resguardo de cuerpo" ("protection of body")? This word resguardo is in spanish it translates to be something like protection. I have read in a few places that resguardo de cuerpo can be done which translates to be protection of the body is usually something that is done and protects the person for life.

I have read in dominican voodoo that this can be done. I have read that both in santeria and palo mayombe this is done. Also read in espiritismo this is done. Now i want to know if this is done in hoodoo and if so how would one go about doing this. Again this is protection of the body.

There is physcial protection in Hoodoo.

In Haitian Vodou (Voodoo) and Brazilian Vodoun, it is a garde where special herbs are cut or sewn into your arm. The herbs go into your blood stream and give you physcial protection for your life. Usually done under the guidance of a particular LWA.

That is what I know about it.

I am in a relationship that is already on thin ice. I confess that I have a huge jealousy problem. Can anyone reccommend a particular oil, incense or formula that might help? I looked at the catalogue, but did not see something specifically for jealousy. This work will be done on myself. I was thinking a bath maybe? Any help will be appreciated. Baths are good for cleansing, so that is what I would suggest. Some specific products that would help are Tranquility, Cast Off Evil, and Peaceful Home.

Lets say for example, a person had sexual fluids (or saliva, etc..) touch a targets hair sample . However, the person would like to do a coercive type of spell. I've heard that one must be sure that their dna is not mixed with the target's personal concern. (In this case, the spellcaster's bodily fluid with their target's hair sample)

Now the question is this: Does wiping away the fluid from the target's hair sample good enough for the spell caster to not be affected? Or must the spell caster approach it a different way?

Well, that is not completely true. A lot of workers use their own spit to fix a mojo and in mouth spraying persons and objects a lot of the casters own dna would end up on the targets hair.

In my opinion it is a matter of what the intent is when doing a specific act. If you happen to get your own stuff on something and feel it to be inapropriate, jut remain calm, rinse the hair in cold water and cut of any "accidental links" by having that mindset when rinsing.
If unable to remain calm and discarding the idea of the caster being linked to the target by accident, you have to burn the trace and get a new one.

I would give them a cleansing bath, perhaps with Cast Off Evil, to wash the persons influence away, then do the protection work. Fear Not to Walk Over Evil and Jinx Killer are both used against rootwork and rootworkers.

In that case is there another method I could employ, i.e. a bottle or candle spell? I'd like to do this for my daughter who is living with a man, and I use the term loosely, who is mentally & verbally abusive and he's a control freak.

Well, Hot Footing him could be done. As for the question of how to cleans someone at a distance I usually make a doll of them. You don't have to sew one up; a hollow plastic baby doll would work quite well, more so since its your daughter and I've yet to meet a caring mom that didn't think of their kids as their baby's regardless of age.

Remember, though, you also will want protection, not simply driving someone away.

These are some of my favorite basic protection techniques and some cleansing as well.
I agree w/ Fiery Wall of Protection Oil & St Michael. I also burn San Alejo & white Virgin of Guadalupe candles.
Salt the house, corners, windows, doorsteps. Other herbs can be used with the salt too, like marjoram, rosemary, basil, cumin, or burdock root. I like black salt in a circle around the place outside. Rue hung over door. I burn white sage every day but when I do magic or need stronger protection, I use a blend of frankincense, myrrh, copal, & crushed dragon's blood. I smudge with all these things too-self & home.
Wearing of amulets/talismans, dozens to choose from, from basic religious or protective symbols-cross, pentacle, seals, sigils, runes, etc., to custom prepared mojo bags, or roots, herbs, stones. Black tourmaline is a strong protective stone to carry all the time. It's my favorite. Hematite to stay grounded.
I also use visualization of surrounding with white, protective light. Keeping aware, careful, and well protected can help avoid intense cleansing procedures later on. Regular purification cleansing with smudges & sea salt or herbal protection baths is a good habit to get into.
Putting the energy into protecting yourself and/or loved ones (including the earth) every day should keep up your strength like working out at the spiritual gym.
