Pray that intention into your work from the beginning, and then let that river know that you want it to help you carry it out!

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Hi There,
I'm about to preform a Mirror Box spell on a troublesome adversary, but i need some advice re burying the Box in a Graveyard.
I'm based in the UK and it's more or less impossible to start burying Boxes in Graveyard's undetected. There's CCTV everywhere and Cemetery's lock their gates early evening over here.
At my local Graveyard though...The back section of the cemetery is cordoned off by a 2 meter high wire fence. There's a deserted walk way on the other side. Over the fence (cemetery side) there's a lot of extremely tall and wild bush...This overgrowth marks the edge of the cemetery grounds. The graves within the cemetery begin a few meters away from the bushes. So the 'Spirits' are in very close proximity..
1)
Would the spell still work if i just toss the Mirro rbox over the cemetery fence where it will get lodged deep within the bushes and remain concealed and undisturbed?
I can't see the bushes being chopped down any time soon..It looks as though the overgrowth hasn't been tended to in years.
Is this method viable or is it safer to just throw the Mirror Box into running water instead?
2)
There's a Mercury Retrograde coming up on August 2nd. I'm worried in case i don't receive my LM order before this date.
3)
Is it OK to perform spells during this period, or should i wait for Mercury to go direct again?

Discussed here are the various disposals for ritual remains (http://www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html); an alternative could be burial in the river...

1)
Starstruck, we work with spirits of the dead, therefore the mirror box may be buried in the grave of a spirit who agrees to work with and for you and whom you pay for the service.
Spiritlead333, the answer to your question #1 is much the same. We are not talking about spirits "nearby," we are asking the spirit of a specific deceased person to hold and keep the spell in place. "Undergrowth" won't cut it, i am afraid.
2)
For ETAs of foreign orders, please call or email the shop. Order@luckymojo.com is the email.
3)
For information on rootworking during times of retrogrades and eclipses, please see this thread:

Good luck!

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
It really depends on how they are protected. I advise my clients to wear amulets or mojo hands for protection and to renew the protection on them regularly. In cases like that you would actually need to get ahold of the physical object and destroy it to remove the protection--which is why I favor that kind of approach.
If its a weaker form of protection then you can sometimes successfully banish it--but again, it depends on the individual and situation.
Blessings,
Bri

...and a reading will identify what type of protection. Call an AIRR reader (http://www.readersandrootworkers.org), I am thinking a 10 minute or Yes/No reading (unless you need more details) will get your answer.

Hello all,
I am planning to perform the reversal-mirror box spell. When burying the mirror box in a cemetary, should it be done anywhere in the cemetary or above a person's plot? I don't want to be disprespectful or disruptive to those resting or family members of the deceased.

Honey, if you are asking that question, you are not ready to be doing work in a cemetery.
I am not trying to be superior here, but we don't work with "a person's plot," we work with the spirits of the dead.
If you think -- through culture, family training or personal belief -- that working with the spirits of the dead might be "disrespectful or disruptive to those resting or family members of the deceased," then you should simply not be doing any work in a graveyard.
This forum is not a place where i can teach you, either. Graveyard, ancestor, and spirit work is far too complex a subject for a few lines of type.
Until you understand the way we work in graveyards (which you can at least start to learn by scheduling a one-hour session of Magical Coaching from most any AIRR member, including myself), i think that you should dispose of the mirror box some other way.
See this "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice" page on "Laying Tricks and Disposing of Ritual Remains" for more ideas:

Good luck!
P.S. This thread is being merged into the long thread on mirror boxes.

If someone puts a mirror box on somebody how would one take it off?
Thank you Saint Michael and Saint Cyprian for all you do in my life.
Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
does anybody know where i could find a small wooden box for a mirror box reversal?
i ve looked at some coffin boxes but they seem too big...around 6 inches...
i wonder if the more professional rootworkers have any ideas of smaller wooden boxes...
also, does the box need to be buried in a specific grave (which would require the aid of a spirit) or can it be buried
in a general part of the graveyard (no grave)?
thanks

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Did you check Lucky Mojo's inventory? You definitely want to ask the spirit for his or her help with the work you are doing first jazzie. The procedure is discussed here (http://www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html#graveyard)

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
the procedure doesnt state about working with a spirit under that link...
but just burying the remains and sort of creating a headstone on the grave site...
it doesnt specify working with a spirit...
thanks

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Hello everyone, I just read this whole thread and I just wanted to ask some questions to reassure some things. I got a reading and found out that My Ex boyfriends ex girlfriend. Crossed me, crossed us as a couple and is doing things to keep him around her, controlling him and his mind. I know that she hired someone to do this for her. So if I was to put her in a mirror box will it reverse the work that she has done on me and him even though she hired someone? and should I burn some uncrossing and road opening candles for him and I after I do the mirror box? if not what candles should I burn or other work should I do besides protection and cleansing?

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Hi Karma,
I would recommend that before you do anything else you take the full 13 day bathing ritual with the 13 herb bath mix Lucky Mojo sells. Find it here:
http://herb-magic.com/13herb-bath-13.html
This is a bath for cleansing and uncrossing. If you are on good terms with your boyfriend then I would recommend that you make him do the same. If you are not on good terms with him but have access to his personal cleaning products like shampoo and soap, then I would recommend that you dress them sneakily with uncrossing oil:
http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-uncrossing.html
I also recommend that you read this entire page about uncrossing:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=c ... ossing+oil
Now, as far as the mirror box-yes, you need to know who is doing the work against you in order for that spell to be the most effective. However, if you cannot get that information then placing the ex gf in a mirror box may be able to alleviate the situation to some degree--because if she has had you crossed up and you work to reverse it and send her all the bad juju she has been sending your way then it can and will (if done correctly) cause a bunch of problems in her life. If it were me I would focus especially on her money and love life so that both of those areas are crossed up and destroyed-because then she won't have the money to continue paying a worker. I will also say that mirror box spells can be highly effective but they can also be a bit complicated so if you are new to magic and Hoodoo you may want to consider hiring a pro to help you out with this. And of course, you can find a list of us at AIRR:
http://readersandrootworkers.org/wiki/A ... ootworkers
Finally, I would like to you to read the excellent page on protection over at LMC-because you need to set down some protection around both yourself and the ex bf:
http://www.luckymojo.com/protectionspells.html
And finally, finally, I am assuming that you got a reputable reader to read for you and assess your case-but if you did not or if you are not sure it is worth the time and money to contact one of the readers at AIRR and have them double check this info that you got so you can make sure you are approaching the situation correctly.
Blessings,
Bri

Miss Bri, Thank You so much for your response. My reading was from a AIRR member but it was about a month ago. I have tried little uncrossing work but just came across the mirror box. I am going to have it done asap I seen that Deacon Millett have one on his page that I was going to have him do for me:
My take on the popular mirror box spell uses a devil candle for the evildoer, trapped upside-down within a reflective foil-sealed jar to witness its own evil mirrored back from every angle. A one time working, with the sealed jar buried forever. For an added element of revenge, the American frontier punishment of tar and feathering is enacted upon the sealed mirror jar spell...
But my thing is i dont want to put the Ex gf in the box and she is still having her worker to do work on us

I have heard that using to much ammonia in a cleansing bath will strip away positive things as well, so that might work.

I agree with sjason that an Ammonia bath would be an excellent choice in this working, as it literally strips away everythign> However, be aware that Ammonia is a toxic chemical and should be used with caution. (When folks start talking about deliberately over-using Ammonia, i get worried about their safety. Just sayin' is all.)

Hello I'm just curious, is there a method to bind a curse or spell so that the energies will remin unless unbinded? I have cast before but after a month's time or so, the energies of the spell just go away. Methods please!
Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
I've never heard of binding a curse; you can always do a Reversing spell to reflect any curses back on their sender.

I think you mean preventing the target from undoing the work. Really depends on your skill and the target's skill, along with other factors, such as what the curse entails, protections the target may have in place, whether the curse is justified, and factors that are unknown to you or the target.

Yea see usually when I do a casting the energy unravels so quickly! Is this a sign that perhaps I need to practice more? I would love for once that any casting I do, whether good or bad will just HOLD, until I choose to undo it. Thats what I meant.Mama Micki wrote:I think you mean preventing the target from undoing the work. Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Doing divinations on the best way to get your desired result can help you plan a course of action that is more likely to be successful.
Also, we don't know what methods you're using, so we can't help you with anything other than generalized advice.
The thing is, when we want a work to have a long-term effect, it usually means that we plan to have a work ONGOING. Meaning that we prepare a type of work that we can, as workers, continue to put time, energy, and prayer into for an extended period of time. Bottle spells are good for this, for example. Many people, myself included, have prosperity altars that we work DAILY in order for the effect to be there in an ongoing manner. For crossing works some people would enlist the aid of a graveyard spirit, and ensure that the spirit continues to work on that person/situation in an ongoing manner (and you'll want to have the knowledge of how to call the spirit OFF, just in case).
And yes, things like your skill level at a certain type of conjure, the protections your target may have, whether or not it's justified - all come into play as to how hard a work will hit.
But nearly any work that is done can be undone by a clever enough worker who comes to aid your target.
I would get a reading with an AIRR worker on your situation. It may just be time to Cut and Clear your resentments to this person, and work on drawing some new positivity into your life! Or, if it's justified, they can help you find a course of action that is more likely to have the effect that you want.

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Well I've been told that my style is more like that of the WICCAN practice so maybe thats why the energy unravels the way it does. Plus you made a very good point about working magick every month. I had a boyfriend whom was just horrible that I made sure every month would cast a spell that was set to make him remain in jail. The moment I ceased, atleast 2 or 3 months later, he was released so that definitely comes into play. See I need to learn how to not use such a "wiccan" form of castin and try something alot more stronger..not that wiccan magick isn't strong.

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
It doesn't really matter what "style" of magic you're using, the principal remains - if you want it to have an ongoing effect, you're generally going to need to work it in an ongoing manner for the most part, or arrange for it to be worked in an ongoing manner.
There's sort of this idea that one tradition's magic is "stronger" or "better" than another's, and that's pretty much a fallacy. All magic has the ability to be very effective, it just comes down to skill level of the practitioner and the strategies used.

I'm just going to chime in with an "Amen" to Devi Spring's remark about persistence in magic. But I have to add:
Hope this helps,
Miss Michaele
It might not be any inherent limitation of Wicca that "unravels" your magic. Wiccan-style magical practice just might not be a good fit for you. I know there are Wiccans out there who can make things happen, but I wasn't one of them. Hoodoo is where I found my power.TheBestest wrote:Well I've been told that my style is more like that of the WICCAN practice so maybe thats why the energy unravels the way it does.

See now there is also a very good point. I do not particulary follow the Wiccan religion nor the reade but I guess its a matter of that saying "Get in where you fit in". I'm a practioner whom uses mainly incantations because its just where I feel comfortable. I don't know where my personal power lies to be honest. I just wish I knew which form of magick would give me the most "punch".MissMichaele wrote:I'm just going to chime in with an "Amen" to do the Springs remark about persistence in magic. Well, back in the day, you would have had a family member or someone who knew you well to teach you. And that still happens today; hoodoo and other folk traditions never did die out.TheBestest wrote:I just wish I knew which form of magick would give me the most "punch".
But more and more of us grow up in materialist, rationalist families, with no first-hand experience of magic by people who have deep experience. So, if we have any gift at all, we have to fly blind for a while.
And that's OK, as I found out the hard ... I mean, the most interesting way.
Just try things, and follow the trails that allow you to make things happen.
Hope this helps,
Miss Michaele

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
i don't know who this person is and i don't have a name of them. but my relationship with my boyfriend had been really argumentative lately. i had a reading done and which pointed out that a female person wants to break our relationship and take my boyfriend from me.
I'm planning to do the spell listed on this page:
A REVERSING MIRROR-BOX SPELL
TO FIX BAD WORK BACK ONTO YOUR ENEMY
http://www.luckymojo.com/reversing.html
1) Can i do a mirror box on her if don't know her name, or who she is?
2) What kind of name should I place on my petition and say for the doll baby?
If you have any other suggestions, please advise me.

1)Yes, simply say " anyone or woman that is trying to break up my boyfriend and I" When or if you get her name you can be more specific and/or include personal concerns
2) Romantic Rival
And make sure you do some cleansing AND protection work for you and your boyfriend.

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
hello, I am new to this practice and am on my own learning. I recently received an order from Lucky Mojo and I am so happy with the quality of all the products and the Results I am getting!!! (Firey wall of Protection, Honey jar for court cases, Healing).
I have long had intuition of a spell on me from my Dad's wife. I've missed my Dad many years now- we used to be so close. Ultimately I would like to have a good relationship with him but it's not possible yet- the relationship state has been progressively degrading over 20 years now.
She's said many times, and otherwise made excessively clear, that she does not want him to have his (3) adult kids in his life. My dad's explained it as Cinderella Syndrome. Cut us kids out of family gatherings over failure to send a birthday cards, etc. I've had 3 obscure and debilitating diseases I can easily see as curses. It is so strong that it seems the people we know in common have been directly and indirectly attacking me nonsensically for years.
So!~ what to do? I want to keep my hands and soul clean! Which means to me, Clearly only asking for reversal; no punishment that is not their own doings back at them. I justify the reversal because I doubt there would be a permanant solution if I just cleansed, but admittedly haven't tried uncrossing yet.
I live literally across from a graveyard so really don't want to mess a reversal up! (I got dirt from a friend there, but will bury at different graveyard). Also ironic, I have no bathtub. But I'm healing enough that I can see myself installing one soon (to do uncrossing).
The point!~ I believe
1) it is the union of these two that has been the main source of my problems/curse. I am not looking to break them up specifically- I do Not want that on my hands. (would be perfectly fine with it of course) Had they not been married, neither she nor my dad would be problem relationships for me. And
2) In retrospect, they each clearly, deliberately, and considerably contributed to the demise of my own marriage. So I wonder , since it's both of them I want to address, (now that my Dad can't be reasoned with)... can I use a couple doll baby? And if I do, should it be black?
I suppose I only suspect the wife of literally doing spells, but my father has become so aggressive that he has become either incapable of making independent decisions or, perhaps is in on the perpetrating. If there is any benefit to his being in a box of mirrors to see his ways, I would want to do so. What is the effect of having a black doll baby divorce couple in the mirror box?
I should also mention that healing the relationship with my Dad may also effectuate a large inheritance (something the wife has stated we will not get).
Also, I made him a 'protector' in my 'firey wall' spell (to help with a court case) and am considering making him a subordinate protected (white candle) next time I do the 'firey wall of protection' spell. To protect him from her!
Many thanks for any feedback!~

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Hello all,
My question is similar to the one above.... I was wondering if it was possible to place more than one doll baby in a single mirror box? I am preparing to make one and I would like to place a dolly for a named enemy, and also a black devil candle named generically for all enemies seeking to do me harm in the same mirror box, or would it be more proficient to make separate boxes..... Thanks in advance for your responses.

If I have more than one enemy to work on, then I use a black devil candle named for all the devils who are working against me that way I cover all my bases.

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Hope I am in the right forum
Two years ago me and my former bff left our magical training group after a long nasty time of quarrels and things like that. We start a new group and started our own company. After a year things went wrong, she ran away leaving me with all the responsibilities and a lot of money problems from the company. When I was repairing the damage, she lived her live, ran back to the old group and tried to destroy my reputation within community. I ignored her for a year, who the f*** is she anyway.
Recently it start to bother me. I picked up my life but in an small country with all the social networking I constantly run into her. No problem but I get really sick of all the between the lines comments, the excessively (right word?) friendly conversations with our former best friends. She's playing the sweet girl in a really infantile and stupid situation. She won't let go of the situation when I think she should be really happy that I let her of the hook like thit for all this time. For me there are 2 situations now: my reputation and my bff. First it's time to get EVEN.
Normally I brew a nasty jinx what will do the work. This time I want to work with a lucky mojo spellkit
But don't know where to start. I want 3 things to happen:
I want her life to be pretty miserable for a while. The "nothing seems to go right" situation
I want a huge quarrel between her and the former group. A tricky one, they are not stupid....
I don't want her to get away with the situation so easily, I want community to know who she really is.
To make a long story short: what spellkit to use in this situation,
Thanks
WR

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
I would just do a reversing. It would be pretty stupid to start a magical war considering you have no idea who is on her side, and even if you get back at her...she may have an even bigger army behind her.
But I would reverse all the turmoil she caused you back to her. Make sure you cleanse and protect yourself when you are doing this.
I think reversing would be the best.
There isnt a spell kit for reversing BUT you can read this page here http://www.luckymojo.com/reversing.html
And buy the reversing products yourself.
IF you dont want to do that, the you are looking at break up spell kit and a crossing spell kit.

Yes you have a good point. And was one of the more reasons not to take action last year in the hope it would blow over and take my lessons out of the story. It's just, it is starting to itch. Not only that somebody got away with it but is making a long nose in public so to speak. I will look at the reverse spells first. She's not worth a war anyway.

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
I have a friend who found out through a reader she frequently goes to (as have I) that the new girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend did work on him to break them up. In response, she started some of her own work on them. She has recently learned that the girl knew about her work because the new girlfriend got a reading and found out. The new girlfriend had a rootworker to the job on my friend and her ex, she didn't perform the work herself.
My question is... how can my friend get revenge and possibly block a reader's ability to sense the work? She doesn't want the new girlfriend to do any protection work or reversing.
Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi there:
One way that workers "hide" their work from prying eyes is to put a Bay leaf in each corner of the room where he/she is casting spells or doing rootwork.
When I do any kind of revenge or "harsh" work on someone, I add things like Poppy Seeds to whatever I'm doing to confuse the target, so they won't know it's me, and just a pinch of Slippery Elm Bark so that I will "slide" off their radar.
(And hello from a fellow Massachusetts person!

wonderful tips! thanks so much! Quick question, if I do a crossing vigil candle just adding poppy seeds on top will be good enough? I would either do that or wait until a pool forms and then add them in. I say me because my friend is horrible at concentrating so I'd probably do the work for her lol

No a crossing candle is not enough to stop a person from seeing what you are doing even if you add poppy seeds. All your going to do is jinx them and make them confused. But they can still see what you are doing. Please follow the recommendations for the results you want to achieve.

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Poppy Seeds can confuse a person in the mind so they cannot put two-and-two together. If a person is confused and off-balanced they cannot see where the attack is coming from or if its source is supernatural. Traditional ways of working by concealing your crossing is adding Confusion products to your candles. Or laying out Poppy Seeds to confuse your enemies.
That said, you cannot rely on adding Poppy Seeds alone because it depends on your target. Some people are able to see past any confusions tricks, some are not. It depends on who you are going up against and their knowledge and skill.

It carries with it a heavy contextual message of final, limitless, and eternal separation of your enemy from all prospects of peace, mercy, or salvation. Be sure this is what you want to do before working with such an intensely-directed line of spiritual supplies."

I agree with conjureman ali, but if the person knows something is "up" and/or goes to readers regularly anyways their reader and/or someone else that practices rootworker or readings can tell that person that. Just double cover yourself, and never underestimate what someone is capable of.

Steady, when you ask, "for a crossing case, does it matter if the petition is written / said / thought about in the negative or the positive?" you are approaching this like a role playing game, as if you were wanting to learn some sort of secret "rule set" whereby a particular kind of wording is or is not a successful ploy.
That's all bunk. Total and absolute bunk.
This is spiritual work, from the heart, from your lips to God's ear.
Speak your mind to Spirit.
That is it and that is all it will ever be, and anything else is game-playing.
Good luck.

Re: Mirrors, Mirror Boxes, Reversing: Questions and Answers
Has anybody ever used an inward-facing mirror box to help somebody rather than just prevent them from harming others?
For example, would there be a benefit to putting oneself in a mirror box in order to keep bad habits from affecting others or to aid a person in growing by better seeing/feeling the results of bad habits?
It's probably a weird question, but I've been intrigued with the idea of a mirror box used in this way since I first heard about them.
And this is probably a sillier question but it's an honest one -
If a person is addicted to something - like cigarettes for example - could a person mirror-box a cigarette?
I guess the basic question is: Should inward-facing mirror boxes be used only on other people and only for people whom you might consider an enemy?

I made a mirror box, but it has been difficult to bury it for a while. I have visited graveyards, (accompanying friends in their recent losses) and some spirits have offered help, the most insistent one told me that she was there cause she was hexed in the same way that I was. (I have been both lucky and well defended and protected, so I'm still around this world) But I couldn't get back at night to bury the mirror box near to her grave, and on that cemetery there is no chance to do so.
This evil person who hexed me, (now trapped in the mirror box) is having a birthday soon. Would it be better to bury the box on the date of her birthday?
Or its better to bury the box any other war day (tue, thu, sat)?
Would she be protected or will she be more weak on her birthday?
It would be hard to bury the box on that date, but if it is the best choice, I will work out the adventure somehow in a cemetery closer to home. (managed to save some money to bribe a guard if necessary, and I have heard that there are more "open" to be bribed there).
I usually get some advice in my dreams, I dreamed that I could burn the box on the birthday and go bury the remains another day but as soon as possible. Is this a good dream advice?
(I'm kinda new having reopened my channels a few weeks ago, and still making baby steps in the underworld.)
Since I'm still an apprentice, I thought about coming here and ask for advice from the best.
Thanks a lot, and many blessings to all. Reading your posts perhaps saved my life in the last months. I started learning here, and if I get the chance, I would like to inscribe to get the full course from Cat at the end of the year.
