This would be almost impossible -- if you have no experience with the work and if many, many people had decided to have the dance on that day, they would essentially "out vote" you.

A freezer spell may bring on slowness, but changing the minds of 200 or more people? Unlikely.

Additionally, although magic can shove things in a certain direction, there are consequences to the work. How do you envision the dance being postponed -- the venue burning down, a flood inundating your town, a major tornado, an explosion, an infestation of locusts?

I'm having problem with my grandma right now. She want to go back to negative once in my life . I feel like she is going backward in my life. It's a long story to explain my relationship with her. I am trying to live a better lifestyle than before with her. I came from bad upbringing with her and my family. She always want negative in our life. My grandma is a type of person she is happy to be negative and miserable .

She is a very controlling & manipulative to me and my family.

I'm trying hard to figure out why she doesn't like me and my family to live in harmony?
It's she curse ? or what?!

It's breaking my heart of why she is the way she is. I am only one trying to keep the family together and she is being overbearing and manipulative just like my mom. That's another story too.

What magic should I do? I already did talking and therapy with her. Nothing work.

There seems to be a lot going on in your situation that you may consider getting a reading on the situation from a reputable worker, such as a member of the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers. Hello All,

I am in a relationship with a guy who does not like dogs in the house. He wants a more serious relationship, like I do, but the dogs are a BIG factor in move forward. I am willing to put one outside during the day but the 2 babies are to small to be outside. I have kennels for all 3 of them and putting them in there will not be a problem. My problem is that he is very, very hard headed and won't budge on this topic. I just want him to not worry about the dogs and focus on us. What kind of spell can I use to convince him that the dogs will not be a problem? Also, I need him to be more open minded. Please, please help me.

Generally, a red skull is used for influence in love. And generally each skull represents one person.

So, you figure out how many types of emotional situations and multiply that by the number of people and that would be the number of skull candles.

No he just said that there was doubt and if we both can agree and get on good terms then i can have success it was deacon millet who gave me the reading so yea but ill try influence. Do you think influence can cut a stubborn man?

Greetings and many blessings for your forum and shop. This has got to be one of the most thorough and practical groups I am a part of and learn from.
I want to keep my situation brief.
My loves father forbids us to be together because of nasty rumors spread about me until
She moves out and she has no real way of moving
Out in the near future.

I have been trying a simple domination spell to stop
Their fighting and then a harmony spell to bring them together and her father still says no. So I'm bringing

I intend to to the egg domination spell but I am
Hesitant if that will have a chance of destroying

What is the effects of this?

Also, have you tried confronting him about the rumors?

Good Afternoon, I wanted to know if anyone would be able to help me. Graduation is May 22, I just recently found out that the college I attend is not allowing me to walk in the graduation ceremony because I have 3 classes (9 credit hours) left to take. They are however allowing students with at least (1 to 6 credit hours; 1 to 2 classes) walk in graduation and finish their remaining classes in the summer like I'm doing. Is it possible that you have any anything that may help me change their mind about letting me walk in graduation. My entire family already booked their flights and hotels to come see me walk across the stage. Please if there is anything that you can do, no matter the price I will pay it.
P.S. All I have to do is get my Dean to sign off on my Graduation Paper, they first time she said no but i'm hoping that I can change her mind.

Hi everyone,

I apologise beforehand, if I could have posted this somewhere more appropriate, but this thread seems like a good fit.

I'm usually a lurker on this forum, and have been doing lots of reading since the beginning of the year, but sadly I write my first *proper* post in need of help from the Hoodoo community.

Long story short - my Mother is terminally ill, and is being sent home from hospital, this evening, in order to "enjoy the rest of her time". Despite this, a few years ago, a treatment for my Mother's illness became available, and she took the entire course - which was successful, even her doctors couldn't figure out why it worked, but it did.

Problem is, there is another batch of this medication available and has been for a while, but my Mother has been resistant to taking it, and now won't entertain the very topic of conversation - despite knowing that the medication works, and is very, very good for her. In the past, I was able to talk to my Mother, and she would listen to my advice - my whole family was on board and supportive, however now, my family is starting to disintegrate into sorrow, and I'm the only one really fighting here.

I'm not asking for a miracle, but I've done a house wash, candle blessings, I've petitioned St. Jude and St. Peter and have an array of candles and LM oils to my disposal - what I am asking, is for some suggestions, perhaps? I'm thinking of doing a bend-over candle, but I would love some advice in order to do the spell correctly. Any suggestions will be very warmly welcomed.

*Side note* - I know my post may sound coercive, but the treatment my Mother is resisting, is completely harmless, and works fantastically well - unfortunately my Mother has a low pain threshold, and doesn't like the temporary sickness that the medication gives her (despite her illness making her even more sick, anyway)

Oh, I am so terribly sorry. I know what pain you're in. I lost my Mother and my husband.

the strange thing is when they finally "gave-up", they just gave up. Both of them had told me that they are tired and ready to be free and happy. Both told me that their own bodies let them know when it' time. Both came to me after death and spoke to me: Happy and free.

I am a nurse, and my patients have told me the exact same thing.

I wouldn't go with so strong of spells but rather something like Compelling, to compel her to give it another try.

I am an eternally single person tired of being single. I met someone who I want to be with but this person, for fear of getting out of the closet, has chosen another path. Is it possible, through rootwork, to force this person to be with me (regardless of consequences)? I have tried EVERYTHING I could to find a partner, from very mundane stuff to drawing love to myself. I am at a point I don't care about consequences anymore. Is there anything I can do to make this person bend over?

As I mentioned, I have tried everything to attract a lover to me. It does includes all kinds of spiritual work to attract love, draw someone to me, etc etc, done by workers who are very trusted. I also took the appropriate actions in my life to match my desires, and no results.

I am quite sure that this person likes same-gender, and divination has confirmed that 100%. However, divination has also shown that she is not out of the closet and doesn't accept herself. That's why I posted in the control/domination forum. I don't care about what I have to do to bend her over, but the problem is my trusted workers have some ethic issues with control/domination work. Do you have any suggestions about work I can do myself?

Hello melm,

You're looking for love, but forcing someone out of the closet sounds like a bad first step to me. I just think it would make this person resent you, which is the opposite of what you want. Why not go the sweeter route, and get to know this person and court them? They might just come out on their own.

Hi, I'm super new I've only been practicing for a month and a half ish and I am few in ingredients because college tuition sucks.

Can I use some of the oils I've seen listed (influence, control, etc) to get someone to hang out with me? I'm getting a little sick of my texts being ignored.
Alternatively, can they be used to bring an ex back? There seems to be a thing against coercion of free will on places like Reddit (i was practically bullied to delete my account) so I came here because I am sure this is what I want to do.
I have had mild success with spells to get a text but I am not patient enough to wait for my other love spells to take effect. So I want to do some sort of coercion spell to get inside his head and make him come back while thinking that it was his own decision. And I want this to happen fairly soon. Like now :p

You could surely use Influence oil (Lucky Mojo doesn't have an oil called "control" so I can't advise you on it) to get someone to get someone to spend time with you. Long time lurker here, so not new to Hoodoo or LM. I will keep it simple and brief (Mods please move to appropriate category as I believe the appropriate category for my subject is under 'influence and change somebody's mind and decision' albeit I wasn't able to find a create new topic there.

So I have been in a relationship for the last 3 years with someone who made me extremely happy,Infact we made each other extremely happy, that's not to say we didn't have our share of ups and downs but whether good or bad we stuck to it. Now my partner has a history of depression and is also under medication for that too but lately it's been under control. Due to work commitments I was not able to see her as regularly as I would have loved to and due to that there had been some strain in the relationship however nothing major. A few weeks ago she mentioned someone suggested she take up Reiki and she approached me asking for my thoughts and I agreed to it and didn't put much thought into it. Last week out all of a sudden she starts ignoring my calls and tells me she needs some space, to me this came as a complete shock because never in our relationship this had happened before, I gave her a week thinking it's probably nothing but a week later she emails me saying that she believes it's best we go different paths she started talking about spirits etc to the point where it almost felt that someone else was making her do this. Since then I have got my folks and her folks involved but she is stubborn to the point where she shuts everyone off completely. Fact is we both have a child each from previous marriages and the poor children will be affected.

I then turned my research online and found many horror stories of families expressing their sadness due to family break ups etc after either the husband or the wife started going for reiki, Me being a strong Catholic I know for a fact that yes there may be a higher realm etc but nothing is impossible for God and finally decided to go back to Hoodoo again, Please note I believe I have done extensive research trawling through 100's of posts to find like for like and managed to find just one although it dates back a couple of years, link posted below.

I would be keen to know if anyone knows the outcome of what the username 'Usurper' finally had. So i decided that I will break this down into various steps and attack from different angles.

1) Started off a Honey Jar going last week on my altar with steady candles going everyday along with petitions to St Anthony (as I have worked with him before and had great success)
2) I have ordered my Red skull candles and as soon as they arrive will be lighting them by placing name papers/herbs/oils on its skull and also in it's mouth.
3) I have used CM Ali's method of using tobacco to get her reach back to me and I believe it worked as she got in touch via email.
4)I will be starting 'Break Resistance in a Lover conjure' as soon as my items arrive.
5) I have done a freezer spell for the Reiki centre using appropriate petitions and NOT using her name on there.

Future Plans:

1)Putting her in a commanding jar (although I will need help with the herbs/oils to use)
2)Making her see her mistake and how bad she is treating me/children/family by making her picture face the mirror, place Asafoetida in between pray over it -Then wrap it up in tin foil or some old piece of cloth, put it away and forget it. (Can someone confirm if this is true?)

All the above are in order to get her sweet & comply ,however as I mentioned she is stubborn and I believe it may take a bit more than this so I'm hoping someone can enlighten me on what more I need to do or if I am overlooking something, so that I can turn this dark and gloom into sunshine again. If it helps she is into dreams a lot, always used to tell me about her dreams etc so if there was a way to influence that then perfect, at this point in time to save our children and my love I am open to all suggestions, who knew reiki would do this huh.

I think you have a good plan if reiki is indeed the problem. But you may have a completely different issue on your hands and not know it. Have you considered getting a reading? A reader will be able to tell you if it's the reiki that's the problem or if she simply wants to end the relationship. You can find good readers here:

Many thanks for your response, Yes I have had a reading and it's not reiki at play here as suspected but it's her own doing. I must admit this is partially due to me working long hours and not spending enough time with her and her family. As discussed earlier I have got the HJ going but yes as everyone knows it is powerful although a tad slow and the general idea is to hit them from various angles which is what I am doing now. My question specifically now is if I want to make a commanding jar with personal concerns what herbs do I use? An immediate thought that comes to mind is licorice,tobacco,deers tongue... But is there anything else that I could do to help win this situation?

Many thanks for your response and the helpful link. I have a question relating to Ms Cat's Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic, Page 165 under Red Onions it states under sub heading : If your man threatens to leave, write his name paper,bore a hole in a Red Onion with a nail, roll the name paper tight and push it into the hole and carry the Onion in your pocket to make him stay.

Now whilst this may come across as a silly question, I would appreciate it if you could let me know if the same came be performed for a woman? I know Ms Cat mentioned somewhere that if the spell doesn't mention the need of a personal concern but we still use it, it will only make the spell stronger. I have personal concerns which obviously once confirmed that this spell can be used for a woman also, I plan on using.

Has anyone thought about or used a coconut as the head for someone? My local store is out of skull candles and I can't wait til the next full moon cycle to do my work. It hit me tonight while at the store to maybe try a coconut. Empty it of its water, stuff in my herbs and petition, and burn my candles on top of it. The 3 holes are similar to a face...

I’m trying to convince my ex boyfriend that I was faithful when we were together (I really was) and that we can repair our relationship if we work more on our trust and communication. If you are unsure about which color skull candle to use, you can always use white. You can use white for just about anything

So once I order the reconciliation bottle spell what do I do with it? As far as his personal concerns all I have is some pubic hair from a previous encounter since we’re not together anymore.

You will burn a candle in the mouth. Then you seal it up. You can add waters to it for love like rose water, or you can leave it dry and use it as a dry bottle. Either way to work it you would hold it in your hands and pray over it as you shake it. Dont add all the hair to this jar, save some for future love work via candles or a mojo. One hair will be enough for the jar.

Hello All!

I need help, How would I go about with using the Influence oil on myself so I won't hold on to resentment towards my family, friends etc? I want to use it to change my mind so it can be more positive or if possible only positive and never really negative. And also what is a good self anointing chant or prayer to say when using it? I didn't see none on the Influence webpage. Anyone's help will be appreciated!

You can use it to influence yourself, reconcilation oil to forgive, a honey jar to be sweeter to those people. Peaceful home is another product that stands out as useful.

Just to add to j82's useful answer, just pray from the heart when you do these spells. If you anoint yourself with an oil, just say something simple like, "May I always be patient, loving and accepting toward my family, amen."

So once I get my order from LM I plan on doing the following skull candle spell— want to make sure I’m not missing anything. So first off as of the day of this post I hadn’t spoken to my target since August 1, 2018. I’m going to first hold the candle upwards (like the baby in Lion King lol) and say a prayer over the candle— most likely something from Psalms that’s appropriate for my intentions. After praying over the candle I’m going to carve his name and DOB on the forehead (should I carve with anything particular?) and I’m going to take his photo as well with his name and DOB written on the back and place it underneath the candle. I’m then going to dress the candle with Clarity Oil and King of Solomon Oil and I’m going to sprinkle some Balm of Gilead Buds on it— while I’m dressing it I’m going to speak to it as if it’s my ex. For example, rubbing oil on the eyes and saying “I want you to see how much I love you and I don’t want no other man but you.”; and rubbing the skull saying “Think of me and the good times we had.” and so forth.. just basically dressing the skull and having a conversation with my ex as if he were physically there. After praying over the candle and dressing it, I’m then going to light it— I’m going to let it burn for 7 days. Is there a specific amount of time I should let it burn each day? I’ll be praying for the candle and redressing it each day as well as speaking my intentions from the heart each day. I’m going to speak something different each day from the heart.

I want to start the candle lighting on a Friday night when the moon is waxing. I would like to do it during the planetary hour of Venus if my hours of employment don’t stand in the way. So far that’s all I got. If I’m missing anything all suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advance!

You traditionally baptize the candle in the persons name in God the father, Son and Holy Ghost. Carve a hole in the bottom and add personal concerns if none add herbs relating to the work. Well the idea to influence a person with a skull is to make them think in their own mind so you would say I love jane doe she completes me. Puff a cigar smoke into the face as you do this, it helps communicate the message. Try and do this when they are asleep if you can. You dress the candle once, some spells call for daily but this is not one of them. I would focus on 1-3 statements to work on the skull and hammer them in rather than 7 different each day. You can burn 15-30 mins a day but the last day the candle will burn longer. Plan to spend some time with it. Best day is friday.

Seems your work is a mix of clarity to think clear, wisdom to see clear and rec to bring him back? I would add reconcilation oil and powder to the work.
