My MIL is good woman and we have a good relationship. She has always had mental health issues (OCD), but, as she has gotten older, she has become a hoarder. She is in her 70s now. She's refusing any help, but can't keep up her yard. She has not let me or my husband in her home for several years and I'm worried about what state it is in. We're trying to get her help on several levels. We'd like to get her to sell her house and use that money to put herself in a better situation, like moving into a condo or assisted living. She's getting frail, but still mentally very sharp.
I'm not sure what kind of work I kind to help the situation - white skull candle with healing oil? Honey jar? Commanding products? I appreciate any help and advice.

I understand she is refusing help but I would keep pushing for her to get medical treatment. Maybe she has had a bad experience with a doctor so I would try to help her find one whom she is comfortable with. This could be as simple as lighting a candle dress with Healing oil.

Not sure if this is the right thread but I was looking for some work advise. I just attended the Hoodoo Heritage Festival and honestly it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. During one of the webinars they mentioned a spell about souring a mother child relationship. I have been trying to find more details about this spell or something similar.
We currently have custody of my step daughter and for the last year the bio mom has been toxic and for the most part leaving us alone after I put up protection. However the last couple of months she's been spending time talking and playing online games with my step daughter. She's been kind and polite so I don't have a legal reason to cut off the communication however I truly feel she is not genuine and this is more of her manipulation. I see my step daughter getting closer to her and it is very unsettling. I did have a reading with someone to confirm my gut feeling and the reading reveled the bio mom to truly be a snake and a wolf so a master manipulator. How can I go about getting her to show her true colors again or get her to leave us alone and sour the relationship these too have. I am working on uncrossing and protection work for my step daughter already.

I also wrote in another thread about an issue with an in-law. Yes, my family is very toxic, and unfortunately, my boyfriend's family is equally so, so you will probably see more from me in other threads.
To summarize, I am an adoptee and my adoptive mom has emotionally and sometimes physically abused me my entire life with them. It's only been in the last ten years or so that I figured out that she has a personality disorder. My aunt, her sister, believes it's a combination of narcissism, and perhaps bipolar or borderline (they are all cluster B disorders). One of her many symptoms was obsessing over my sister while bullying me. While my relationship with my sister improved when she had her own kids, my mom stayed the same as mentally ill people often do. However, my sister got sick and eventually passed away. While she was sick, my mom was basically in meltdown mode and became even more abusive, and since my sister died, my mom has waged a smear campaign against me, running around telling family members lies about me. Most people take her side, partially because she freaks out if they don't, and partially because she plays the role of the bereaved parent. She's also used me as a scapegoat since I was a kid so people were already groomed to believe her lies.
This lifetime of abuse and smear campaigns has caused me endless suffering, especially because I was already coming from an abusive home. While my cousins see my mom for who she is, and even her siblings know she is crazy and unstable, my father, brother, and my sister's widow take her side or at least show me zero support. While my sister was sick, my parents did not once show me love and support and I ended up getting sick, too. They've barely shown any interest in my health, and I turned 40 a few weeks ago with barely any acknowledgment from them. I keep my distance for my own sanity and well being but I can't stop them from lying about me. The problem with a narcissistic family member is that there are always more. In addition to her instability, my brother married someone who demonstrates narc behavior and one of my cousins also demonstrates narc behavior. Everyone else enables it.
Obviously, this makes me very depressed at times, even when I'm not in contact with them. Who wants to feel like an orphan when they have family...and I was already an orphan. My parents are getting older and it makes me very sad that I'll never have the opportunity to repair my relationship with my father or brother. I also thought that in her old age, she'd stop plotting so much but she's much worse, especially now that her mom died (she also told me I didn't need to come to the family viewing of her wake and then blamed me when I got upset).
I can't articulate the pain of having a parent out to get you. I've joined a few support groups that help...but I never get to heal because there is always some fresh pain she is inflicting on me directly or indirectly.
1) I've tried to bind her but it only makes her more covert.
2) I've heard that you can't use magic on narcissists, and I don't know if that's true or not.
3) I've also heard that you can do some things to influence people, e.g. skull candles.
4) I've tried protection spells on me and my household but it doesn't seem to do too much.
5) I would like people to be on my side and advocate and stand up for me when she starts abusing or lying about me.
6) I don't even know what else to want from the situation besides not losing my entire family because of her abuse.

Does anyone have any suggestions to help me make my relationship with my mother better? We have always had a tumultuous relationship and she doesn't think very highly of me, I'm sorry to say. She often speaks negatively about me to family and friends. If I stick to myself, that's a problem because I'm "avoiding/ not spending time with the family". If I make it a point to go over and hang out for a bit then I'm annoying and hard to be around. I'm working from home now as you know so I'm "here" but not really. After work there are just some days I honestly just don't have the energy to engage. I really don't know what to do.

When dealing with difficult people, i always start by trying to sweeten the situation. With my own conscience and hands clean, i know i have done my best, and any cruelty sent my way is the other person's cruelty, not a reaction against me.

Since you live with your mom and family I would suggest a "Peaceful Home Honey Jar", this would work to bring peace and happiness at home.
I suggest you also wash the house in Chinese Wash and then with a Peaceful Home herb blend ( brew into a tea).
