I wrote before in this thread because a family member married someone who seems to be off. At the time, I was told that it seemed like it was just a difference in philosophies, which was very frustrating.

Since I wrote last, it's been made clear that this person I am still very concerned about displays increasing narcissistic tendencies. What is equally worrying is that they full-on subscribe to conspiracy theories and have been taking numerous vacations with my relative and my relative's kids to all parts of the south with low vaccination rates. We live in the north, so this is a very intentional act on their part. They've taken several vacations during COVID and none of the kids are vaccinated and won't be. When I am able to see the kids, they are starting to spout more and more frightening ideas about the world and becoming more and more anti-education and intolerant of people of different backgrounds. Alongside that, I am getting pushed away. Please help me!

I remember you from the posts you have made in the forum and also to our radio show.

I suggest that you send charmed presents to the children, blessed and dressed to hold good thoughts and a desire to contact you as they mature.

These items should not be clothes (they will be outgrown) or electronic goods (they will become obsolete), but things the children may wish to keep for sentimental reasons, for reasons of inherent aesthetics, for reasons of rarity or uniqueness, or for presumed monetary value. Some examples:

* Rare and beautiful stones, crystals, and mineral specimens, with information cards

* Moderately valuable jewelry without any particular style (not rings or bracelets, as finger and wrist sizes change)

* Stone, metal, wood, or clay figurines with eyes and faces: dinosaurs, cats, rabbits or any species they might bond with

* Porcelain goods, such as cups or mugs, with their initials or monograms on them

* A mechanical (not electronic) music box, sturdy in form, which plays a pretty melody they will remember

* A harmonica (not plastic; a real metal Marine Band harmonica) with instructions; give a few lessons yourself

* A framed photo of you with each child in front of a recognizable place (natural or man-made) that is unlikely to be demolished and that they will remember when they see that landmark again in a film or online

* A hard-bound book with really good illustrations in which you have written an inscription; it should not be so tall that it requires a special "tall books" shelf

Avoid corporate spokes-creatures; these gifts should be unique.

If you can hide a petition-paper or a prayer within the item, so much the better; if not, just dress it and pray over it.
