John the Conqueror Oil Questions and Answers

Hi everybody,

Yesterday I was with one of my friends and we were talking about John the Conqueror oil and how he said that when we had purchased some that he had three days of the worst luck hes ever had.

Now when we went to get the oil, I pre-cautioned him that Hoodoo and the Arts in general are held sacred and are not to be disrespected with non-belief.

So he purchases the John the Conqueror oil, has run ins with the law and whole bunch of other stuff. [Details deleted -- forum mods.]

Has anyone had this experience -- because me personally I'm not going to try something if I don't (one) know nothing about it and (second) and most importantly IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN IT PLEASE DON'T PLAY AROUND (no disrespect with the caps, just making a general statement)...

I even had a chuckle about it because I'm diggin this wave and I found it rather interesting that the Spirit was reminding my friend as well myself that MAGIC is FOR REAL and it is to be taken seriously...

With that being said I want to wish everyone who reads this a blessed and ETERNAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE...ONE LOVE... :ugeek:

Ikee Jackson, thanks for this testimonial, which i consider to be a valuable one on how to use (and how NOT to use) Lucky Mojo oils in general and John the Conqueror Oil in particular.

Your friend purchased John the Conqueror Oil, which is known -- WELL KNOWN -- to give men all kinds of strength, power, competitive edge, and the ability to take on opponents and win.

This was the wrong oil for him. He was already too macho, too high-strung, and too ready to enter into combat with the world.

If he wanted to mess around being a bad boy, he should have selected Law Keep Away and they never would have seen him.

If he wanted to grow up, get right with God, and become a valued member of the community, he should have selected Crown of Success.

All he did with that John the Conqueror Oil was to use it unwisely, to pump up his macho fist and then stand there glowing like a target -- so to speak -- so the cops could see him.

Yes, root work demands respect, that is true.

It also demands a head full of sense and wisdom, and a lot less foolish attitude on the part of practitioners.

You know, this story reminds me of the game that some women play when they buy Follow Me Boy Oil and pour it all over themselves and then come to the Forum all freaked out telling us that strange men were pawing them over all night at the club.

Well, honey, what did you EXPECT?

That is not the way to use that stuff. You gotta prepare, pray, and focus on what you want. Wearing a half a bottle of Follow Me boy on your half-dressed body at a club is stupid.

But some girls take a while to learn that.

Again, thanks for the story. Maybe it'll help someone else figure out how the world works. LOL!

Ikee Jackson, please refrain from using profanity. I edited your post.

Your friend's "run-ins with the law" are not because of his purchase of John the Conqueror oil, but due to his bad choices. If he didn't believe in the power of the root and oil, why did he buy it?

We do not judge, nor do we determine who should and should not be attempting to help oneself by magical means. We do believe in good common sense, however.

Hi all, I ordered some LM John the Conqueror oil from a reseller on ebay and to my surprise the oil was an orangey red color and I was anticipating a purple oil.

Is this oil legit and of the right color?

The reseller was 'the curio and candle shop' on ebay.

Thanks in advance.

No, there are no Hoodoo Police, Mama Micki, and to determine who shouldn't use magical means to help them do whatever is not my concern either. My apologies in regards to the inappropriate language on my end as well.

What I was saying was that prior to doing anything one should do their own research before doing anything. He took my experiences that I had using John the Conqueror oil and did what he did. I just found it like I said interesting for a person to not believe in magic to try anything magical, not saying one shouldn't try or do anything but you should do your homework. He even attributed it to his lack of belief in the power of the oils himself.

I was just asking if that has happened to anyone else. Now If I offended anyone then again I am man enough to say I'm sorry. Have a good day yall...

Exposure to light will change the colours over time; purple is the least stable of the colors. The man who made most of the images for the catalogue just relied on his own imagination in selecting those oil colours. In some cases he was waaaaay off in left field!

Hello All,

I have read up on High John Conqueror and I have not found much about the oil. It is said to increase luck, money, cut through tough obstacles and attraction, strenght and its gives off a "male vibration." however, I also see it recommended for women too.

So lets say I have a tough situation that I am trying to break through for years now which is changing my status to USA citizenship. Can I use this oil to attract the right man who will help me and also dominate him to do what I need him to do so that I can accomplish my task?

I noticed in one post some one used this with Van Van oil to break through an immigration situation....

I have plenty charm and feminine guile but need to not get too emotionally involved because I meet eligible men that can do it but I seem to get sidetracked :) so I felt led to get this oil but wanted some feedback especially from women who have tried this.

Also I have my own business and want to attract more clients and keep the ones I have so any recommendation? I want to have favor always with people's help I need especially those in "high positions."

I look forward to your responses.

Thank you!

GoldenFlow7,

I think these is quite a bit of information about John the Conqueror Root and the oil and other products that contain it online here:
http://luckymojo.com/johntheconqueror.html

and here:
http://www.herb-magic.com/john-the-conq ... small.html

and there is even more information in my printed book "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic."

For more information on how to use oils, see:
http://luckymojo.com/oil.html

Perhaps the reason you think that there is "not much" information about John the Conqueror Oil available is that you wish it could be used to help your legal immigration situation, but it really is NOT what you are looking for in that situation. In fact, since your matter is a legal case, you should instead be looking into Little John to Chew Root, a.k.a. Court Case Root a.k.a. Galangal Root, which one of the ingredients in our hand-made brand of Court Case Oil.

Likewise, you say that you want to use John the Conqueror Oil to "meet eligible men," but again, that's not the right root, and therefore not the right oil for that. You should instead focus on Queen Elizabeth Root in Oil, or one of the love-attracting oils (or a blend of them). Look Me Over Oil blended with Queen Elizabeth Root in Oil would be a good place to start.

P.S. Please help us out by posting any questions about our spiritual supplies in the threads already established to handle those questions. I have merged your query into the existing thread on John the Conqueror Oil Questions and Answers.

Thank you Miss Cat,
I apologise for putting my question in the wrong thread. Thank you also for the links. I did read the links you sent prior to posting my question. I am aware that I need 'attraction oils to draw eligible men to me. I already have that, however, John the Conqueror oil also has drawing to it too. I just wanted to get feedback from women who have used this oil and was hoping it would be good to add a more forceful element to what I already have. As mentioned I am trying out the vibrations of your oils and to find the one that works best for me. I wanted something that has some strenght to it that can break through tough obstacles. I saw mentions on the forum that it was used with VanVan oil. So I am just trying to understand. I was led to inquire about this oil and just wanted feedback from its users especially female users.
I appreciate your response :)As I mentioned I do meet eligible men but somehow get too emotional and dont take the step to boldly get what I want done and to conquer and take what I need... I hope you understand.

Blessings

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. Happy to be here. Quick questions? I've read most of forum questions & replies & still a bit lost? I've also read the information provided. I just bought my John the Conqueror Root & Oil here in Lucky Mojo. Here are my few questions? Any & all information & clarification is welcome.

1. Is there a need to do any ritual when first recieving? Pslam 23? Or any other would do?
2. Is there a general preparation that needs to be done?
3. Some posts say feed it whisky? Others say use John Conquer oil? Which is it? Or both? How often weekly?
4. I've read to keep in in red flannel pouch for love or green for money? Or just keep in on your pocket?

Thanks Everyone

Hi jaycee-zambs,

Welcome to the forum! When you get a chance, introduce yourself in the Introductions thread so we can get to know you.

Since you bought your John the Conqueror root from Lucky Mojo, it has already been blessed and cleansed. You can pray the 23rd Psalm over it and cleanse it with whisky now that you have it. Then anoint it with John the Conqueror oil as you tell it what you want it to do for you. Red is the traditional color for much of hoodoo, but if you are using it for money then use a green bag.

Good luck.

Can I use High John the Conqueror oil to remove obstacles in my life?

I want to remove my lack of self esteem with the oil and candle.

What type of candle I use to remove low self esteem?

Should I rub down the candle to remove low self esteem?

Should I write the petition like - I, Extremedivas remove my low self esteem to become more confident in my life.

Hello, Extremedivas ,

No. John the conqueror is not for that purpose. Blockbuster is: www.luckymojo.com/blockbuster.html

This is what John the Conqueror does: www.luckymojo.com/johntheconqueror.html

To remove your low self esteem I suggest using banishing oil on a black candle and inscribe top-to-bottom: "Remove low self esteem"

You apply the oil downward also.

To build up your confidence, you can use many of the oils. Master is always good on a purple candle. Do is Crucible of Courage and Victory. You would write "confidence" on the candle. But, this time, you are anointing and inscribing bottom to top

Can a women use John the Conquerer oil?

Hey everyone!

I'm totally new to doing any kind of work myself. Usually, I just pay for it, but they never actually work, so I figured I'll try and do it myself since my family in the Philippines is very open spiritually. So, maybe it runs in the family.

I figured I could make a honey jar to keep my boyfriend in love, sweet, and faithful to me. He's planning on moving back to California in December (because of a pesky aunt who happened to be visiting while we were arguing), while I'm going to follow him next summer, but I really don't want us separated for that long, especially knowing that his family would meddle.

I bought John the Conquerer oil on a whim after reading that it can help with control, but later saw that men typically use it. Can I still use it to dress my candle, or should I just not bother with it, and just get Follow Me Boy and/or Bend Over?

I, also, bought Come To Me and Love Drawing as well. I'm planning to mix them.

Thanks! :D

Hello, stephxbee ,

It always amazes me how people from all over the world visit the forum. Welcome to the Lucky Mojo family!

I would not mix John the Conqueror with your love spells. But, you could use it on a separate candle as a separate spell.

Usually, men use John the Conqueror root in their love spells and women use Orris root in theirs (especially mojo hands) or the ils to mix

Read about Orris root (Queen Elizabeth) here:

http://www.herb-magic.com/queen-elizabeth-powder.html

If this were me, I'd go with the stay with me products:

And Follow me Boy is also excellent

Hello everyone.

Does luckymojo use ipomoea jalapa and ipomoea purga interchangeably as John Conqueror? some authors claim that the latter is merely a more modern name to it, and that they're both the exact same species, but I have personally found them to be quite different.

Purga is much larger, for one thing, would not fit into a mojo bag, and often lacks the testicle similarity that characterizes the John Conqueror root as being representative of the male gender.

Now, I know for sure Luckymojo uses it somewhere, since it is listed here: http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatsuppliers.html as an article of interest.

Thus my question remains. Are ipomoea jalapa and ipomoea purga being used interchangeably? is this ok?

I'll certainly respect your authority on the matter. This question by no means was intended as impolite or disrespectful, but It just happens to be one that has been consuming me for a couple of years, now, and it occurred me ask :)

Please let me know. Thank you for taking the time.

Cordially,
Asturias.

Hello, asturias ,

Wow, that's a good question and I just don't know

I looked in the book: "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic", by Catherine Yronwode, and she lists them both.

So, you may want to call the shop and ask them

HOWEVER, please don't call the shop now as they are working with a skeleton crew due to all the fires in California and many employees of Lucky Mojo had to be evacuated. So, I would wait a week or 2 before calling

Wishing you the best

Hi,

I'm in my saturn return age, and am female. I have been using high john oil and it's even been working in love work. Is this unusual? I am a hetero female if that makes any difference. (I know I've posted about unusual things working for me before -maybe it's just something to do with me?).

Hello VanillaAbound,

I don't think it's that unusual. There's no law that states that women can't use High John the Conqueror roots and products or benefit from them. Maybe getting in touch with your masculine energy is exactly what you're needing right now? Who's to say :)

So I just got my package in the mail with high John oil being one of the oils I ordered. Even after reading the description I'm not 100 percent sure how to use this oil. So one of the ways I was thinking of using high John oil was dabbing some on me before I go out and about and while putting It on me saying something along the lines of help with approach anxiety. So my question is high John based on the description says it is used for courage so can I use the oil on myself to help me with approach anxiety ?

chrisredfield07 ,

You can use the oil to increase your mastery, power and even to draw women for love or fun. It is also used for luck, money drawing. You can purchase a John root and dress it with the oil, then make a mojo. If you have anxiety I would look into crucible of courage oil and healing oil as well and blend them together with the john oil. Pg 111 in Herb and Root Magic has a mojo for success and personal power using john root, the oil would be a great additive to the work.

John the Conquer: http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-john-the-conqueror.html

Crucible of courage: http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-crucible-of-courage.html

I was reading through the replies in this forum for John the Conqueror Oil, and I was just about to purchase it, however being female I was afraid it would create to much of a masculinity for me?
I plan to get the Incense Powder (is this mainly for males)?

I am looking to gain and feel powerful and mastery over my creativity and in the eyes of others. I have Crown of Success.

JTC also seemed to have luck and draw money. I already plan to purchase confidence (I have enough courage, so don't need that). But I want something that will give me power especially in the eyes of others (not control or compell them, but to have like Star Power).
Do you recommend Master Oil over this? I have Master of Woods already.

Thanks.

Moongoogle,

I say give it a try and see how you like it. I work at a job that is dominated by men and i want them to respect me as a peer. I feel John the Conqueror oil helps give that extra boost of confidence when dealing with difficult situations. I also have Master oil but use that for mastery of my work so I can be the expert and excel in my field. There are differences between the oils but they really work great together.

If you believe that this oil would be to masculine for you, you can always try Queen Elizabeth root oil. It will work with your feminine qualities to help you feel like a queen in your own right. As well as maybe attracting love.

Best of luck to you!

Just read the links provided for more information on High John. This was an extremely powerful read. I appreciate that this information is available. I’ve had my bottle of high John for some time now and it has been my least used due to my lack of knowledge. I’m curious. In terms of ancestral work is this a good oil for myself, African American, to use to connect with my southern ancestors? I’ve been hoping for increased clear communication with them going back about three generations. I appreciate the insight. Cheers!

YayaSekmet,

I have never come across anyone using John the Conqueror oil for spirit communication and connection. I'm not sure how that would work. Mastery, personal power, luck and sexual prowess are its common uses. However, there are other herbs and oils that would help facilitate your ancestor work.

Althaea is a herb that is favored for spirit communication along with Acacia. You can read more about Althaea and spirit work here: althaea-leaves-and-althaea-root-questio ... t8148.html

Hi LM admins,

I suddenly have a curious question about the long-term use of John the Conqueror oil after reading the thread. In my opinion, to become a real man, it takes a long time to have the right mind set, do the right things and apply. Then the actions and characteristics of a real man become natural in a guy. I myself have followed and practiced the man mind set of David Deida in "The Way of the Superior Man". I know that it takes a long time to be "the Superior Man".

Now my question is: Are there any testimony from LM customers who use John the Conqueror oil (or other forms) in the long-term and become a real man?

Every man has his own opinions about a real man, I wanna know whether they become that ideal man by using John the Conqueror oil (or other forms)

John the Conqueror Oil has strong oily aroma?

Posted: Wed Dec 09, 2020 6:58 pm
by Renai_Man
Dear LM admins,

I have used half of a small HJ oil bottle, now I notice that the oily aroma becomes stronger and more dominant than the sweet & masculine aroma. When I open the bottle and have the 1st snip, the oily aroma is dominant, only after the 2nd or 3rd snip, then I can smell the sweet aroma. Is there a problem with the HJ oil when the oily aroma is dominant?

Please notice that I store HJ oil in box at a dark place together with Come to me oil. Come to me oil aroma is still fresh and sweet, only HJ oil has strong oily aroma.

Hope to get your support about this matter soon.

Please contact the shop with this issue. You can call them at 707-887-1521 or by email: order@luckymojo.com

They should be able to tell you if the oil is bad (which is rare but can happen) or if it's something else. The employees that work at the shop do not frequent the forum so contacting them directly is best.

I hope this helps.
