Hi all,
I am new to this forum and would like to know how to use my mandrake oil for prosperity and protection. I know it can be used for anointing candles, but can I use it elsewhere? I read online of a lady who used it on her headboard to help communication with her husband. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks!

Well, you can use the oils in a variety of ways. Dressing candles, anointing petition papers, dressing herbs, dressing surfaces, on bottle spells, etc. It's really up to your own imagination.

Mandrake Root in Oil is one of our line of specific herb or root in oil products -- others in the series include
Peony Root in Oil,
Five Finger Grass in Oil,
Spanish Moss in Oil,
Lodestone in Oil,
John the Conqueror Root in Oil,
Queen Elizabeth Root in Oil,
Lucky Hand Root in Oil, and
Solomon Seal Root in Oil...
Unlike the condition oil blends such as Fast Luck or Money Drawiing, these products are based around the ONE herb, root, or mineral ingredient in their title -- but unlike the essential oils we sell, they DO contain the root, herb, or mineral named. They are listed as part of our Hoodoo line, that is, those items with SKU numbers that start OIL-HOO, BCR-HOO, IPD-HOO, and SPD-HOO.
The use of any such oil is strictly based in the use of the herb thus named and included. So, for Mandrake Root in Oil, you would look up all the uses for Mandrake Root at our
https://herb-magic.com web site or, for a far fuller set of instructions, you would look up Mandrake Root in my book, "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic."
I don't have time to do that for you right now, or to write it out from my head, as i am teaching ten apprentices here this week and have to be down in the shop in a few mintes to set them up with the day's work -- but i hope that helps you and others learn how to research the use of these oils.

It often strikes me that a lot of people in modern days seem to prefer complex formulas, rather than working with one herb at a time, as if the combination of many herbs would make a spell stronger.
In my opinion, working with the singular herb oils (and the herbs themselves) oftentimes lead to a better understanding and a stronger foundation all over. In a complex formula you rarely get to know and experience the specific thing to each ingredient and that is a shame. It is a bit like watching "just" a rainbow, when it can be a magnificent experience if each of the colours were studied before looking at the sky.

I agree Johannas, the herbs cat listed are a good example, each has its unique properties that can be used alone as a foundation to many types of work.

just a quick question
I've ordered some mandrake root in oil and ive read the background information on it
I still do not know exactly what it can do when used in a rootworking.
Is it for drawing money? love? convincing someone to give you money for a car (my actual intent for it)?
How should mandrake oil be used in a work?

I agree with Johannas. Herbs are beautiful and magickal in itself and most of them I use in single form or as basic oils for different blends. And the list is great, should have all these in basic oils to begin with...
