Where i can find Hyssop Oil, i don't see any in the Lucky Mojo Catalogue.

How could one use the Hyssop Oil?

Hi Jenny,

Hyssop Oil could be used much the same way hyssop herb is, usually to be forgiven for one's sin as referenced in Psalm 51 of the bible. It's also useful for self-forgiveness more generally, particularly when there's obsession over one's past action or faults.

One recipe for self-forgiveness would be to mix 5 drops of Hyssop Oil with a cup of epsom salt and a crushed square of Blueing and then use that mix, dissolved in a tub of water, to take a spiritual bath.

I have the LM Hyssop oil and was wondering about ways to use it. I see the self forgiveness bath mentioned above. Is that bath only for self-forgiveness and if so, do you need to take some of the water to the crossroads? I assume the answer is yes.

I read elsewhere here that you can use Hyssop oil in your shampoo, shower gel... Do you need to collect some water and take it to the crossroads? Can this take the place of the bath? I assume no, but you know what happens when you assume...

Any other ideas for how to use this oil?

When you are doing a Spiritual Bath, especially removing something, you would want to take the water to the crossroads.

Placing a couple of drops into your bath products can give them that charge, in this case to cleanse, but it is not the same as a full bathing ritual to spiritually cleanse yourself. The Hyssop Oil in your bath products can help maintain spiritual cleanliness after a full cleansing is done. Just bath normally, with a few prayers, but no need to collect the water and take it to the crossroads each time you bath regularly.

Thank you Papa Newt. I took a Hyssop bath with the bath crystals last week and took water to the crossroads. If I was to perform the feces spell daily, would I need a full bath each day after I did it or could I just use my shower get and shampoo/conditioner with Hyssop oil after each wipe?

I don't have any intention of doing this spell at this time, but curious. Thank you!

Hello all,
I'm preparing to do a reversal spell; focusing my intentions and saying my prayers while dressing the candle. I'm doing this until I'm ready to light the candle. Since I'm doing this, should/can I be reading psalms 51 and using the hyssop oil until I finish the whole spell and take the cleansing bath or am I doing a bit too much?

Are you using the hyssop oil as a reversing agent? Hyssop is used because of its mention in Psalms 51 " Wash me with hyssop make me white as snow", and is used to cleanse away sin, or to remove the "sin" of doing a spell to cause harm, incase you are not justified, or doing it is simply wrong., further used to take off bad habits or crossed conditions. You can use the oil on the body as well. You can add it to blessed water and wash your hands and face. I would still take the herbal tea bath. Here is a link to hyssop sold by Lucky Mojo. I think maybe you are doing a reversing and working to remove the crossed condition at the same time, if this is correct then I would want to take the bath right away, remove it as quickly as possible.

No, I'm not using it as a reversing agent. It's not a kit per se, but I'm using everything suggested for a reversal spell. I am using it as a reversal and everything. I haven't lit the candle yet because I like to spend a couple of days working the candle; if that makes sense, so I was using the oil afterwards. But I was definitely going to do the herbal tea bath when I had started lighting it. I'm guessing I should just do the bath anyway? Thank you!

Cat posted once on this similar topic of cleansing after work or a crossed condition. I can paraphrase basically if you had dirt all over your body would you shower or just wait and do nothing? Same spiritually, you would want to remove it right away. I understand your purpose with the candle and that is a good and fine, however, I do not want you walking around with a crossed condition on you! I also go with the idea that cleansing more is better then cleansing less, you can take the bath no, and again after the work. Adding oil to water and then washing your face and hands ( also feet) is very traditional as well.

Thank you! I think I had confused myself for a hot second. But I got what you're saying. I actually just realized that I do have blessed hyssop water from my uncle that never registered until this morning *face palm* so I'll do that and the baths before and after. Thank you again!
