Hi All --

In a financial pinch, I went for a "fast luck type" oil a few orders back... I knew of the raved-about Fast Luck Oil, but something told me to go with Algiers, described as a "Fast Luck Type Formula."

I got good results from Algiers -- an unexpected royalty check from a publisher I had no idea still was selling my book - so YAY! But I am curious if anyone here in the forum could speak to the difference between Algiers and Fast Luck, if any.

Example: I read here on the forum that while both Attraction and Magnet Oils are attractors, Attraction is gradual while Magnet is more Ba-ZING! fast. Are Fast Luck and Algiers different in a manner too? Or are they essentially interchangeable in your experiences?

Yup, always looking to have more oils in the cabinet. But I am curious of any similarities, differences in results folks may have experienced, and which they prefer.

They are simply two different recipes that are similar. When i got the recipe for Algeirs Oil the resemblance was obvious to me.

In "Golden Secrets of Mystic Oils" the writer Anna Riva (Dorothy Spencer) attributed the name "Algiers" to "the Mediterranean" and called it a "sensuous" oil.

However, Edward Lowe, a Texas-born African-American root doctor in Chicago in the 1920s, made and sold Algiers Perfume many decades before Anna Riva came on the scene, and he attributed it to Algiers, Louisiana, which is across the river from New Orleans. This makes good sense to me, as Algiers was at that time known as "hoodoo town."

Lowe's ascription of Algiers Perfume to Louisiana rather than Algeria, as Anna Riva later had it, led me to understand that the similarity in fragrance between Algiers Oil and New Orleans Fast Luck Oil was not accidental.

I received my order in the mail yesterday and I'm so excited! The Algiers oil smells simply amazing. Right away, I blessed it and anointed a $2 bill with it and put it in my husband's wallet. I also added a few drops to the "hair dressing" recipe I found on the Lucky Mojo site with whisky and devil's shoestring. I can't get over how wonderful it smells. Are there any other money drawing methods using it? I chose Algiers over Fast Luck because I want the money to stick around awhile and help me find a nice rental house.
