Crucible of Courage is usually employed as an adjunct to other oils when the person is shy, afraid to shine, afriad of failure, hanging back from challenges, and in need of some backbone. It can be added to job-getting oils like Steady Work, to love-attracting oils lik Look Me Over, and to mojo hands or honey jars for court cases, as well.

Hello,
Would it be possible to purchase a Crucible of Courage mojo bag from Lucky Mojo. Also, could a spell kit be made-up using these products?

Hi MArcoa, my knowledge is limited, but perhaps you'd be best off with a John the Conqueror Mojo with some yarrow added to it and annointed with Crucible of Courage oil as well as high john oil, and of course stating in your petition you want to be made courageous and bold etc...

Can I use this LM oil to dress a candle, the purpose being that I am petitioning for someone else (not myself) to find courage within himself?
Thanks

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but it goes along with the work I am putting together with the above oils and candles.
I feel inspired to incorporate some formal prayers such as Psalms into this work.
Anyone know of some psalms which are particularly good for inspiring courage and self confidence (i know courage and bravery are a common thread through the psalms, but there must be some especially good or effective psalms for this) .
Thanks.

I have a few questions about this oil....
I will be using it for myself and the guy I am involved with. It's to give him the courage to end his current relationship which he wants to do but can't get the courage to do it. I have a baby doll for him and the rootworker I get readings from said I could put some on the forehead of the doll and pray it gives him courage. ....so that's fine, I will do that. I also have a honey jar for him that works great. Can I use my honey jar to burn a courage candle for him on, mixed with the love oils I usually use? Or should I do it separately?
Also, I will need to some courage work myself. In order to aid him with the courage to leave the other girl, I need the courage to tell him that it's what I want (I am quite shy and not the best at communicating feelings). How can I do some work for myself? I will only have the oil for now. If I burn a candle for myself, what would be a good petition to make for myself? Then I assume I should annoint myself with some of the oil when I'm around him and get him in contact with it as well, right?

Hi mystic_fae,
you can burn the candle dressed with Crucible of Courage on the honey jar. Personally I'd do the Courage candle on another day than the one u regularly use for your love candle burning, but it's up to you how you work it. One idea would be to do a Courage candle for the two of you, burnt on the honey jar, and combine that with some Crown of Success and Mercury oil; then roll the candle in deer's tongue. This can help you both find the words and take the actions necessary to get the results desired.
Blessings.

Aura,
Thank you for the advice. I should be using a purple candle, right? I will have to work with only Crucible of Courage though, I don't have the other things you mentioned right now and need to chill out on money for a bit (just went on hoodoo supply shopping binge)...
The only other oils and herbs I have are for love and money, other than Van Van. That probably wouldn't go along with it, though, would it?

Well miss cat, I'm planning on purchasing the whole line in the near future -- along with a purple flannel bag, master of the woods, master root, agrimony, and yarrow. I'd like to construct this as a mojo and add a john the conqueror root, calamus, and possibly some lightning struck wood (if I can find it). Possibly a St. Cyprian medal, too.
I plan to bathe at dawn on Sunday before church. Would you dispose of the bathwater near or away from your house CoC? In the same vein, would you anoint/powder to attract courage (feet up) or to banish fear (head down)?
I'll use the rest of the crystals to wash my clothes.
In terms of burning candles -- any suggestions, especially in conjunction with making the mojo? Purple candle or white crucifix?

Hey Obskultus!
Here’s an example of how I’ve worked with Crucible of Courage products. I’ve found it to be very effective to muster courage and gain the upper hand in situations. I’ve found the best time to do this is soon in the morning, while the Sun’s still rising.
You’ll need a package of
Crucible of Courage bath crystals, a package of
9 Herb Bath, a white male or female
figural candle, Crucible of Courage oil, and Crucible of Courage sachet powder. If you enjoy using incense in your work, you can burn a bit of Crucible of Courage incense mixed with a bit of the 9 Herb Bath while burning the candle. For a strong job, you can do a series of nine baths over nine days. Pinch out the candle each day after you've finished praying, letting it burn out completely on the last day.
Begin by boiling your bath water. Take the water off the heat and add your package of 9 Herb Bath. Let it steep for 9 minutes before straining out the herbs. Add a portion of your Crucible of Courage bath crystals.
Take your bath while praying. You can use whatever Psalm or portion of the Bible inspires you to courage or simply pray from the heart. I use the following hymn, which is inspired by the prophecy of Isaiah found in Isaiah chapter 8:
(After each asterisk, pour the bath over your head and say, “For God is with us.”)
God is with us, understand, O ye nations, and submit yourselves: For God is with us.
Hear this, even to the farthest bounds of the earth. *
Submit yourselves, O mighty ones. *
For if ye rise up in your might, ye shall again be overthrown. *
And whatsoever counsel ye shall take, the Lord shall bring it to naught. *
The word, whatsoever ye speak, shall not remain with you. *
And of your fear we shall neither be afraid nor in dread. *
But the Lord our God, Him will we hallow, and He shall be fear unto us. *
And if I be trusting unto Him, He shall be unto me sanctification. *
And I will be hoping in Him, and shall be saved by Him. *
Behold I and the children which God hath given me. *
The people that walk in darkness have seen a great light. *
Ye that dwell in the region and shadow of death, a light shall shine upon you. *
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given. *
Whose government is upon His shoulder. *
And of His peace there is no end. *
And His name shall be called Angel of Great Counsel. *
Wonderful Consoler. *
Mighty God, Ruler, Prince of Peace. *
Father of the age to come. *
God is with us, understand, O ye nations, and submit yourselves: For God is with us.
When you’ve finished your bath, air dry and dress in clean clothes. You can save a portion of the bath water and mix it with a bit of the bath crystals to use as a floor wash. Dispose of the used bath water by throwing it to the East.
Take your figural candle and carve “courage” and “God is with me” on it. Dress it with the oil and then double dress it with the sachet powder. Light the candle and the incense and let them burn while repeating your prayers.
Gather up any remains and dispose of them in a five-spot pattern in your bedroom or around your house.
Anyways, this is one way that I’ve worked. It can be adapted to suit your preferences and needs. Good luck and let me know what you think!

I know there is a similar question in this thread, but I'm looking for a slightly different bit of information. If I am using COC oil in candle work to give a man courage to end his marriage, would it be "okay" to mix that with something like break up oil or black arts? I just don't know if this kind of oil goes well with the others. But considering it is a divorce that I'm looking to see achieved..... I'm not sure at all.

candiijojo : I would mix the Crucible of Courage Oil with the Break Up Oil and not the Black Arts Oil, myself. You are trying to boost this man's power to end his relationship. This mix makes more sense.

Yes, Joseph is correct that black arts is not really focused on this type of situation. Just a note: Break Up oil is to make him and his soon to be ex fight like cats and dogs, Separation oil will cause them to separate peacefully, Cut and Clear will allow him to let go and move on. Choose according to the energy that you want for this separation.

Ohhhh yes! Thank you. I had not even thought about also using cut and clear in this situation. Should it be used after the split, or as part of the courage spell work?
Re: Crucible of Courage Oil Questions and Answers

I was always taught that cut and clear was a more personal item used to help you get over a person, not necessarly used to break a couple up. It can be used to cut and clear any bad relationship. though I suppose being used with separation and a set of candles it could definetly work! I would do the break up then do the cut and clear spell as outlined just modified so his candle is coming to your candle

I interpreted the suggestion of cut and clear as more of a "getting over" a relationship they may have officially ended and not so much a break up spell. I would imagine it might be used more for self.... but I assume CoC is also most frequently used for self. However, I've never used either so I am really enjoying learning about both.

I think if HE already has the intent that he wants to break up and let go (which is what I assumed from your post) then adding some cut and clear to your Crucible of Courage blend would be appropriate. If he does not have the notion that he wants to let go and move on, then I probably would not go that route. Are you secretly adding this blend to his personal care products (shampoo, body wash, etc.) or are you giving him this blend and saying "Use this to help you get through this rough time?"... or are you just using it on a candle, etc.?

I think I should add in some Crucible of Courage to the rest of my workings. When I had a reading with Elvyra, one of the thing she remarked on is that I have options in my situation, but I am too terrified to use them. I think over 9 years of mental/emotional abuse have broken me down. I know that I have power in my situation, but moving forward with everything that can help me to get out feels like I am physically blocked from doing it. Part of it is because I deal my husband & his mother constantly bullying me. I am at the point where I feel helpless, but I have to be strong for my children. How can I use this?

Hi Alyssa,
In this case, I would recommend you do a series of cleansings to get rid of your fear and this bad energy. A run of 13-herb baths would really lighten you up and remove some of that negative energy accumulated from years of abuse.
Next, you can add on crucible of courage and something for female empowerment perhaps like Queen Elizabeth Root. You could also add some Cast off Evil to help you get past the patterns that are keeping you in this relationship.
http://www.luckymojo.com/products-queen ... -root.html
http://www.luckymojo.com/products-cast-off-evil.html
Finally, I cannot stress enough the importance of seeking outside support. Make sure you are taking advantage of community counseling resources and women's shelters because these are the professionals who have the experience and resources to help you break free.
Blessings!!

AlyssaH, on top of the excellent advice duchess offered, you can also have lights set to help back up your work. Going to a rootworker or having MISC set some Crucible of Courage candles can help add support and strength to the work that you are doing yourself.
Best of luck!

That is a great idea. I have two candles going for me currently & I can actually see the results manifesting. My husband is going through therapy, while he's doing rehab. When I talked to him last night, I put on some Influence oil & he is understanding that he needs to cut ties with his mother. I can tell he is sorry for all the wrong he's done to me & my oldest son. He even suggested that I should get a place where I've already applied (he doesn't know that I have). He was offering to pay to have my car fixed. I really think I will need to get this oil to keep my resolve about separating, but I don't think that he's going to be angry when I get moved out. So at least there's that

Hi, Just like candiijojo up above, I would like to use Crucible of Courage products to help the man I am involved with end his current marriage. He wants to be with me but doesn’t have the courage to end his current relationship. We’ve been dating two years. I’ve had a reading on the situation with Miss Cat and it confirmed that fear is what is holding him back.
(1) I tried burning a vigil on the situation but it went out multiple times. The burn was clear though so it’s odd that it went out. How can I break through this?
(2) Other than using a vigil candle, what other works can I do to give him courage? I like to use multiple approaches in my work plus the vigil isn’t burning properly. I can’t have him do anything directly because he doesn’t know I am involved in it this so I would do it on his behalf.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi, Thanks for the assist Shantilly.
Does anyone have any spell suggestions? or know how I can break through the trouble I am having? I just gave his doll baby a bath in Crucible of Courage and put the doll baby in a ring of tea lights dressed with Courage and one of the tea lights just went out. That never happens. So just like the vigil, a light went out. Any ideas on how to amp this up? or break through what is going on? thanks

Hello, jamaal1132,
I like to put this oil on my head. I run my oiled fingers from my forehead to the crown of my head.
Here is a page about oil use:
www.luckymojo.com/oils.html
You can also use it on your hands (or your wrists close to your hands), near your ears, and any other places that you use to play the instrument.
You can even put some on the instrument.
You can put it on candles, etc. Check out the page that I gave you.
Wishing you the very best.

Hi, I recently unpacked some oils I had ordered before I made a big house move (thankfully settled in now!) and was going through putting them away, when I noticed three of them had some interesting sediment/dried bits in the corners, where I assume some of the oil had dried on the inside of the bottle. I smelled them to make sure they hadn't gone rancid, and they seem to smell okay.
The reason I'm putting this in the Crucible of Courage section though is that thinking back on it now, I am unsure what colour CoC comes in. I only had a brief time to check it out before packing it away, and it was never in any light or under extreme heat situations. Now it is very dark and cloudy looking. Holding it up to the light it looks sort of red-purple coloured? But it's definitely not noticeable just looking at it.
Is this how the CoC oil normally looks, and I'm just worrying about nothing?
(The other oils are Fire of Love and John the Conqueror, but the spots in the corners are much less, it smells okay, and its remained red and clear.)

Hello, StephanieR
Here is what the bottle and fluid looks like:
www.luckymojo.com/oil-crucible-of-courage.html
I would shake the bottle and then let it sit still for a few days. If it still looks that way, well, then, they may have inadvertently been exposed to some sort of temperature changes.
Hope this works

Hi Miss Aida,
Going off the photo then, and I have no reason to doubt it since the rest of my oils have almost always matched, it looks like something went off on mine. It is definitely very dark, and not clear looking at all. I'll still hang onto it in the meantime, along with the other two from my order. Plus, no harm in re-purchasing.

I do need lots of courage, lately, and I always enjoy LM's products.

Would this help with my target being concerned with the age difference between us? I'm 21 he's going to be 37. His age does not bother me at all, but apparently he is concerned even though he mentioned before that age is just a number. I am also thinking of using this to give him courage to contact me.
