Is Attraction Incense Powders basically the same as Magnet Incense Powders? Do you prefer one over the other and why?

They have a very similar intent, but the formulas are not the same.

For me it depends on what I am looking to achieve. When I work with Magnet products, I am thinking in a magnetic way. A magnet draws anything magnetic of lesser strength or mass to it, it is a simple physical response based on polarity. Although I may consider working with magnet products for money work for example I would not use them for love work.

When I work with Attraction I know that I am making myself more attractive to whatever I am trying to attract. If I want to attract attention it is something that I am attracting to my qualities. If I am attracting money or luck, it is something that I am drawing to me and making myself continually attractive to whatever I am wanting to bring to myself. For me, I see attraction as more long term in it's outcome because it changes the dynamic between the things that are being attracted to each other.

For some people it might simple be a case of semantics, but for me there is certainly a difference in the way these products work.

Great answer, Houngan Liam -- the question is interesting to me, because i would have asked, "What is the difference between Lodestone and Magnet," rather than "Attraction and Magnet."

Lodestone and Magnet are very similar forumulas. I think that Magnet arose in an urban environoment as people began to forget what a natural lodestone is.

Attraction is a complex floral-herbal compound and attracts attention, respect, interest, and even curiosity, in addition to drawing love and money and "stuff" in the way Lodestone and Magnet do.

The difference to me is that Lodetone and Magnet are mineral based, while Attraction is herb and resin based -- with all of the spiritual implications that can be inferred from that distinction.

Well, Attraction Incense is used to draw what you want in love or money. Powder incenses have two favoured reasons and methods of use.

1) Powder incenses are burned and used to smoke a space or to smoke items which cannot be oiled or dusted. So you can burn Attraction Incense outdoors, at the door (wafting the smoke inward), or inside a place of living or business. It can be mixed or blended with a good luck resin incense, like Dragon's Blood Resin, and burned on charcoal. The smoke from the burning may be scryed to see visions of things to come. The ashes from the burning may be used in further forms of work.

2) Powder incenses are blended into dirt and sprinkled around a property, similar to the way that sprinkling powders are used, but easier to disguise in some instances. So you can mix Attraction Incense with dirt and use it to pot or plant an herb or shrub that draws luck, or love, or both, and set that plant by the front door of your home or business.

This was sort of what I was wondering about. I knew folks burned these types of incenses inside to create a sort of charged space for whatever working, but I didn't quite understand how to use it for drawing. With powder and washes, I understood sweeping inward, but with incense, I had a blank spot--Haha!
