Archangels, by their very nature, only work under God's instructions. Not only that, they have specific roles. Archangel Michael is the Archangel of protection, and this is why he is called upon to aid policemen who protect citizens from criminals and soldiers who are protecting their nations from an invasion or from terrorism within or from attempted coups or from atrocities. Michael is depicted as a warrier, but in those pictures, he sends the invading enemy, the Devil, back to Hell. He is the proyector of Heaven.

Therefore if you call upon Michael to assist in an invasion, he will turn his back on you, but if you ask him to protect and strengthen those who fight to resist and repel an invasion, he will help you.

Burning his incense as you pray Psalms 91 in the same of your comrades is a strong way to work.
