Sarasvati Incense Powders Questions and Answers

Unread post by Rev Ernest » Fri Oct 01, 2021 9:55 am

"The goddess Sarasvati, shown on the medal to the left, is of ancient origin. She was originally the tutelary deity of the Sarasvati River, but when an as-yet-unexplained ecological tragedy overtook that body of water and it dried up in prehistoric times, the civilization that honoured her was absorbed by those of neighboring regions and she became instead a goddess of music and song. Thus she is depicted here in her contemporary form, playing a musical instrument called the vina."
--- Catherine Yronwode

AIRR Tech Team Report 4/25/2023 Hindu Goddess Sarasvati!

Image

The AIRR Tech Team met today to disclose our splendid web page on Sarasvati, the Hindu goddess of art, music, and knowledge and the wife of the creator-god Brahma! Miss Bri wrote the page. Catherine Yronwode edited the text and sourced the graphic, Papa New provided site-wide linking, and Nagasiva Yronwode did proofreading and created our graphic announcement. Check out our erudite page on Sarasvati!

The Sarasvati page is here:

We shall now move to social media, to share the Sarasvati page at the AIRR page on Facebook, here:
