Hey Y'all

Unread post by Dumbledork » Sat May 23, 2009 5:08 pm

Hey Everybody.

Just a few bits and pieces about me and my life. I was born and bred in the briarpatches of south Alabam. LOL. My first experiences with folk magic came from my grandma, who came from a Pennsylvania Dutch family but lived all her life in backwoods of Alabama. I also went to a mostly black school though I am white. It was there that I learned a lot of hoodoo. I put most of that stuff to the back of my mind until I came across Lucky Mojo a few years back and found the 4 volumes of Hyatt's books at a local library. I don't think they realize just how important these books are in some communities. Anyway, I started looking into it again. I started working what I call Bible magic, using the psalms, prayers, and rituals of the Bible to do a little work. Mostly for divination, although I use playing cards, dice and, my favorite, numerology. You can always find God in the numbers. Anyway, I like to swap info and learn from everybody.
