Hi, I'm Laura from the Chicago area and have been involved in occult pursuits most of my life. I discovered hoodoo/voudoun about 4 years ago after a series of dreams led me into it. I maintain a home altar and practice ancestor respect, but have only gotten into the basics of rootwork. I read about Cat and LM in Christine Wicker's excellent book "Not in Kansas Anymore" and was glad to find it. I've been looking for mentors in the area for years without any luck. I plan on enrolling in the correspondence course and hope to "virtually" meet all of you soon.
