Hi Everybody, my name is Erik. I am a religious and spiritual explorer. I also work as a spiritual advisor. I have been studying religion, superstition and spirituality since I was 8 years old. I have found hoodoo to be very affective compared to other forms of magical practices. I want to thank you for this site because I have found it to be very insightful and educational and most of all THE "SPELLS" WORK. I think you are all going to be seeing alot of me =)
(BTW, is there a more proper term to use in Hoodoo practice for the word "spells"? Would it be "Doing a job"? ) Thanks again and I look foreward to becoming a part of this community. Blessings~

While the terms can be used and has been used in rootwork/hoodoo one can use terms like "conjure," "laying tricks," "hoodooing," "doing work" etc.
