Hey everyone, how is it going?
I am a young magician living in a town called Grand Rapids in western Michigan. I knew about "magic" since I was young but didn't know it was a real practice until I was about 13. I began reading what was available and that happened to be neo-Pagan books. As I got older and more serious in my craft, I came across a person who would become my best friend and mentor. He taught me some basic things about root work and hoodoo and I fell in love with it, especially after an experience involving an ignorant boss and a name paper. I had always been drawn to the herbal aspects of Wicca and neo-Paganism, but felt relief when I learned that there had been a practice of herbs and roots and candles separate from those traditions.
My mentor introduced me to Lucky Mojo Curios a while back and I've been visiting this site frequently as of late. I decided to join the forum because in my small town there aren't a lot of good magicians ... or they are extremely good magicians and don't want to be known about.

Hey Mercurios, happy to meet you. I am new to the forum and Hoodoo also and feel that Hoodoo is probably one of the most powerful forms of magick.
