Hi all, my name is Winter Sun(my mother named me Kyle, I like that, too.). I'm new in the area, and after a bit of searching, I found Lucky Mojo(damn seashell wards...). I'm somewhat interested in finding other practitioners in the area, so here I am, in the right place. Things are going alright for me here spiritually, though this land is much more...need a good word...adversarial than what I'm used to. Every spirit seems to object to my presence and I get a lot of interference.

For my part in this, I'm not very subtle. Everything within a mile or more of me knows i'm here, and has felt my presence.

I had the misfortune to move in a couple blocks from a graveyard, and the souls there are uneasy at best. Something is stirring them of late, making shades where there should be no shades. I've cut down no small number of them, but more keep coming. not to say that the whole graveyard is corrupt, there are some great people there, and as a fledgling medium, I should know. But someone is stirring up trouble. The longer it goes on, the more I think it's some poor practitioner just coming into their power, not sure what they're doing. I sympathize, but it doesn't change the fact that I've had serious spiritual wounds from the shades. I can burn their darkness away, but i have not the sight, so i can't see them until they're latched onto me. Anyway, I'm rambling.

I've done decent work at making my home area more friendly since I arrived, and I hope to extend my influence to the hours of night. Luna and i get along very well, though she prefers I do my own work and not rely on her power.

Hi Winter Sun and welcome to the forum!
You will find that we are dedicated to Lucky Mojo Curio Co--primarily we assist folks in deciding what LMC products would work best for their situation and how to use said products. We also can answer questions about spells and rituals found on the Lucky Mojo website. I am not sure how familiar you are with African American Hoodoo and Conjure--often folks find this page very helpful in orienting themselves:

take care and let us know if you have questions,
Bri

Um, I could be utterly in the wrong on this one, and if I am I do so hope that Miss Cat will correct me, but those seashells on posts on road going to the shop? I'm pretty sure those are just really cool and eco-friendly reflectors, like the less attractive red plastic ones you see sometimes on signs and posts on road sides. Could be wrong. Unless you were making a joke and I read too much into it, I've had a long day, lol. In any case, welcome to the forum :D

The California coast used to abound with abalones. It was the custom of Sicilian fishermen to nail them to their barns and fence posts ... a remnant of my Sicilian heritage and the long-gone abalone fisheries of my younger days.

Something about the way I navigate...those wards threw my own energies back at me, hard.
