Hello everyone!
My name is Thorn and I have been a practitioner of the occult since I was 9. I started out with basic wiccan practices aswell as working with psychism, and since then I have gradually grown in my studies and I officially dedicated myself to witchcraft three years ago, although I have been a practicing pagan for almost 8 years now. My parents are both Christian and have found me confusing to deal with over the years but are still loving and supportive. I have a boyfriend who is also involved in psychism, although his gifts are inherited from family where I am the first in my family to openly practice the gifts I have been born with. I am an empath and a faith healer, and I can also see the spirits of people and animals.
As a teenage pagan in the bible belt, I have been warned by my parents that I will face criticism for my beliefs and sexuality, but contrary to this warning, the south has been nothing more than a spring board that has only increased my spirituality
. I have been incorporating hoodoo into my practices for about 3 years now, and am looking forward to learning more, evolving my spirituality, and doing my best to help others with this forum's help as best as I can
