Merry Meet All!

My name is Ms Drie and Im a 26 year old solitary witch from Georgia. Ive actually been a Lucky Mojo customer for some time now, but only recently listened to the radio show and joined the forum. I have practiced witchcraft and other forms of paganism since the age of 12. It wasnt until 3 years ago that I met vodou high priestess at an annual pagan festival, and she suggested I started looking into ancestral worship. Since then, I have started my SLOW but diligent walk with vodou.

I must say that its much better when you have people to help you. Unlike some of the other "magical" forms, vodou is not one that I have found easy to walk alone. I dont really know anyone other than the priestess that practices it, and for some reason I have almost felt "afraid" to ask for entrance in her temple. I really need some strong guidance and correct instruction for my vodou studies.

I also have to give a BIG thank you to Miss Cat for writing the Hoodoo Herb & Root Magic book. Its literally become my BIBLE :P Also the Lucky Mojo site has been very instrumental in my journey. So thank you for being there and having an open door company.

Im definitely here to stay if welcome and Im open to any classes, gatherings, and whatnot that would allow me to meet others and study :-)

Thanks and Many Blessings to all!

Thanks again! Im just confused at this point because Ive had conflicting information. I was told that Voodoo was the religion and Hoodoo is the type of spellwork Voodoo practioners do. A complete O_o Im going to read this article in depth before I go to bed. Youll see me around Im sure. I just should have been here ages ago.
