Hi Folks,

My name is Christen Christian, and I'm from Wilmington, North Carolina. Wilmington is smack dab between the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Fear River, in the southeastern part of the state. We have a rich African and European cultural history here and as a child growing up I was exposed to plenty of folklore and folk beliefs. I've had an interest in Hoodoo for years now, and have even practiced a bit. I have a good sized library of Hoodoo books, some good, some bad. I'm at a point now where I'd like to pursue my interest further and learn more about Hoodoo and become an active practitioner. I'm a big history buff and I take pleasure in knowing that I'm from a place that had many practitioners in the past. I'm hoping that I might be able to please them by continuing the work.
