I feel blessed to have discovered Cat's work. (book, website, et al).
I'm Irish and Native American and was raised Catholic here in the Northeast. I make annual trips to the reservation during Sundance season. I've explored many religions and spiritual disciplines and I know that most of you will understand when I say that I kept returning to my roots. I Love ritual and ceremony. The smell of incense and oils, the glow of candles---the sights, sounds, smells and inspiration of a devotional or working altar.
I've been wanting to learn more about Hoodoo and was delighted to discover this site and Cat's work. I recently ordered my first purchases and I will be signing up as a student just as soon as I meet the requirements. I wanted to share my gratitude in finding this resource and look forward to getting to know some of you better.
