My name is Sarina and I am happy to be here! I am a massage and reiki therapist as well as a tarot reader and magical practitioner. I have just begun to explore hoodoo and have been practicing folk magic and and kitchen witchery as a solitary for a few years now. Already I have noticed that many hoodoo practices overlap with other forms of folk magic.

Re: Hello from Texas!
Hi Sarina,
Yes many folkmagic spells are the same in different cultures.
One of the main thing that draw me to Hoodoo was how similar it was to my own native tradition (Scandinavian) and many spells are identical.
Hope you will enjoy the Forum!
