My name is Jenny, I've been interested all my life in magic. It wasn't until recentlyish that I began to seek out more knowledge on things I had become convince were real and could be good, even very natural to me. I tend to find websites like my brain jumps from one train of thought to another. I believe I came upon LMC through researching online for a reputable tarot reader. I was in a place in my life that I needed direction, and maybe more so just confirmation that the progress I was making was just that progress and not denial. I found Valentina Burton. Now that I think of it, I really don't know how I came across LMC, probably looking for a love spell. I do know that I found LMC and Valentina independent of each other.
When I saw that she mentioned having graduated from the correspondence course, a light inside came on. Later someone who apparently grew up in a family that practiced it recommended that if I was interested in hoodoo I should get the book Herb and Root Magic by cat yronwode. I thought isn't that the same teacher Valentina told me about, and the owner of the website that I had recently stumbled upon. Indeed it was.
Since then I have purchased spell kits, and had grand success with them. Love spell, 3 months after met my future husband, courtcase, got the result I needed there, I recently finished a castoff evil kit and can tell a serious difference in my situation, I'm currently using a blessing weightloss mojo, and I can tell that I definitely have an edge on struggles there.
Ever since I decided to learn to read tarot, and began to study this website I have intended to one day take the HRCC. I have ordered Herb and Root Magic and read it cover to cover. I am systematically working through reading Hoodoo In Theory and Practice. I look forward to getting to know more of you on this forum, I read it everyday as well. As I save up, practice some spells on my own, study the free resources on this site, Southern Spirits, and Herb Magic as well, I plan to read the books that are recommended in cat's book, and purchase the required products.
This particular kind of folk magic is the sort of thing I was looking for, for a long time, but didn't know it existed. I'm so glad it does and that there are plenty of places to start learning as much as I can. Thanks for reading and good luck to you all.
