New from Oklahoma

This is all still so very new to me, even though I have been feeling the pull from some Lwa for awhile now.
A little bit about myself, I was born and raised in Oklahoma City and have lived on both sides of town. The occult has never been unknown to me, but I have never fully immersed myself in it like I am now.
I grew up Baptist and became Wiccan in middle school. I switched schools when we moved houses and found myself in a Catholic highschool. I found a home in that religion and I still keep a few things with me, but it isnt the home I feel in Hoodoo. Which I didnt discover until my sophmore year of college. Of which I attend as Political Science Major/Spanish and History Minor. (My dream is to work for the Peace Corps for as long as I can.)
My roomate began practicing. I was scared at first, I think anyone would be. I would witness her dance in the evenings, giving herself - and other things - up to the lwa.
I was in denial at first, and then dreams of Ogou started coming. And a year later, I have decided to fully embrace my calling.
So here I am, offering myself up to those more knowledgeable than I (and everyone else in the community). I'm really quite excited to be here and meeting everyone!
