Shalom!
Okay, so I'm a "seeker" at the moment for lack of a better term. It's not that I am new to my path, but I am not quite sure how to label my path.
My path as it stands now is that I am a Witch with Jewish, Christian, and Gnostic leanings. I also practice energy healing, tarot, palm reading and such. I was raised Pentecostal-Holiness and still practice the Gifts of the Spirit (especially speaking in tongues, or "glossolalia") as well as "deliverance" when necessary.
I'm blending a lot here and it's not to be disrespectful in any way, but it is how I believe. My magical pathwork consists of Hoodoo, Pow Wow, Ceremonial, and I am learning about Huna. I also believe that my psychic abilities are a part of my spiritual gifts and that I truly am in YHWH's service.
I enjoy reading Judika Illes, Edgar Cayce, Jim Pathfinder Ewing and Draja Mickaharic to name a few. I read, study, and use the KJV Bible with Apocrypha, JPS Tanakh, Nag Hammadi, and other lost books of the bible and Gnostic writings.
I use the Sharman Caselli Tarot as well as several varieties of the Rider Waite Tarot. I love astrology and working with the "heavenly bodies" and creating and interpreting natal charts.
I still have books on Wicca and Witchcraft that I refer to from time to time. Also, I love me some books on ceremonial magic, especially "The Complete Magician's Tables" as well as books on folk magic.
I joined this forum in hopes to learn more about hoodoo, LM products, and maybe prepare myself to eventually become one of Miss Cat's students in the correspondence course if it is meant for me to do so.
Enough with this rambling, but now you probably can understand why I just refer to myself as a "seeker". Any ideas for labelling my path are welcome although I don't feel that it really needs a label.
