At last Hello!

I am an artist and entrepreneur. I came to Lucky Mojo in search of Dragon's Blood oil, it seems I have found a lot more than that. Wow. I think I have been being called to this world for a little while, but it seems over the years I've been a bit shook up! I am of mixed race, one of those children born of a dreadful war. I was born in the breadbasket and I moved south with my folks and spent my teenage years in the lonestar state.

I like history and books. I like gardens and cooking techniques. I like miss cat's metaphors comparing hoodoo to cooking dinner!

Something about me that has not changed. My disdain for the radio and TV. That began when I was a teenager I was a fan of punk rock, after studying business, I believe everything in that old Germs song "Media Blitz" is true. I don't subscribe to much television, I don't have a car so the only time I hear the radio is when I rent one- thank goodness too- there is a lot of garbage programming out there! I try to be mindful of what my eyes and ears see and hear, so typically I try to listen to things that have a "si hadj" (sp?) vibe to it if lyrics are involved or opt for instrumentals - like harp music. I believe music stirs the soul.

I have tried many LM products. My favourites at the moments are the Peaceful home and Healing line. Checked out Stay With Me, that's powerful as is Cast Off Evil - potent stuff! I am looking forward to the LMCC, I am sure when the time comes I will be as much of a keener as I was in business school. :mrgreen:

Thanks for your creation Lucky Mojo! Looking forward to making a difference in my life with you.

Hello! Welcome to the forum! I have been on here for a few months and I love it, I hope you will too. I responded because I'm curious, what war? What is the breadbasket? It just caught my attention and I've never heard that term before

Welcome, MissKittylovesNanny!

Temont, she probably means the Midwest (Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, etc.), where a lot of wheat and other grains are grown.

Hi MissKittylovesNanny and welcome to the forum :) It's a wonderful place to learn and grow (and find neat new ways to use LM products!)

Thanks for the welcome! There is so much to read!

@Temont - the Vietnam war.

Mama Micki is correct, I am from the Midwest, I learned as a child growing up that's what it was called! Maybe it's a Midwest pride thing, breadbasket of the world so it's called, Kansas.

Yes, looking forward to learning lots.

I would just like to update those who have been helping me through the forum. Since having introduced myself I have been spending time aligning with my deities. I have also spent a lot of time reading the forum, though not always logged in and typically browsing them by moderator updates as they may or may not relate to my interests. Spending a lot of time cleaning my home, cleaning myself which includes cleaning my mind of thoughts and unaligned desires as they are aligned to my deities. Makes me somewhat of a party pooper to friends, but the ones who matter respect it. All in all, I am preparing myself for HHRCC by doing so and also spending time reading about charms and Afican American folkmagic history via the sister sites i left off at hagriding. I've also been checking out AIRR member sites and what they offer and how they do things.

I am enjoying the learn experience and I have learned a lot so far. Thank you!
